Honestly, this place can be very hit or miss. If you go in when the store is empty, you receive excellent customer service and can get in and out without an issue. They offer great prices and are very competitive with GameStop. This is my go-to store when it comes to buying video games. My only issue is that if they are busy, you can expect to spend about 45 minutes to an hour waiting. There aren't many employees, and there's only one machine to test out games and game systems. So if you're trying to trade in a game, I highly recommend doing it during the week when it's less crowded. If you try to do it on the weekend, expect to spend about 45 minutes or more. We have been using Cybertron in Sanford for years with our three boys. This is the first terrible experience, but we will probably not be coming back. My son purchased Super Smash Bros for $30 on 8/16. The game would not load on our Wii. We tried to return on 8/18, two days later. The receipt says 30 day warranty, 7 day returns, but we were denied due to the warranty sticker being removed from the disk. We had never been warned prior not to remove the sticker, and you can see that we still have it. My son removed it prior to loading the disc into the console. The best they could do, is offer to test the game and if it worked they would give us 1/2 value on store credit. read more

The winter Park location specifically literally is the one of the greatest place in Florida. unlimited amount of knowledge to go with what it seems like an endless amount of options,get topped by top-tier customer service and work ethic. I have to give an awesome shout out GIAN and KALEB for making every single experience at that store a memorable experience to the point where you almost don't wanna go home. Cybertron staff is always super friendly. They've been fantastic about checking inventory when I call in advance about a certain game. The store always seems so clean and well organized. I appreciate that the pricing is competitive with other retailers. I saved almost $8.00 by coming here instead of getting my two games new at target. It is a good store. But I took off a star because last time I was in there, with my transgender boyfriend, the cashiers who didnt know he was trans started complaining about how "when someone tells me that a game has a transgender character, I know that game isn't good" so... be careful of bringing up those topics around certain cashiers. Great deals for some diamonds in the rough! Found a bunch of PS1 & PS2 games I was looking for. They have a solid selection of Nintendo, Playstation, XBox and Sega, old-school to new-school. The staff was really helpful. They have a punch card that you get a game $20 max after ten punches, each punch is $15 or more. The only way to get two punches in one day is to go over $100. Will definitely head their way again. read more

Stop putting the silver stickers on the games. They are not easily removed like you claim and ruin the image on older disk (ps2 era for sure). I will never buy another game from them unless they can remove the sticker before purchase. They wont do it because it will ruin their own inventory. It's not to protect you. You still need a receipt if you want your warranty to be effective. They only reason they ruin these collectables is so they know you arent trying to swindle them bringing in a disc back they didn't sell you. If you are a collector, have then remove the sticker before your purchase. Warranty be damned. Otherwise it will be "your fault" when you ruin the front of the disc removing the "easily removed" stickers. read more

First off this shop is Amazing, I love it. I collect and mod game consoles and this shop always has what I need. Today I got a SNES mini here. I saw a review on here earlier that said their MSRP is 80 and that this place is way overpriced. I've been looking for this product for months and any place that sells them for the MSRP sells out almost as soon as they come in stock, their site doesn't even have a chance to update. Resellers are selling these things online for Mid 100s to low 200s and that's why they're so hard to find in store. I honestly think it's great that they don't mark up this product more because they totally could and would still sell it. While I agree that it's a shame that everybody can't buy the Nintendo product for the MSRP because Nintendo hasnt put out enough supply to meet demand I'm glad that local game shops are willing to sell it at this price range so that I don't have to buy it from scalpers. I love this shop because the selection is always great and the staff has extensive knowledge on everything from games to the specs of specific console models. Sure you could probably find the same stuff cheaper online but it's going to take forever and you can't determine the quality with your own eyes. The mark-up the shop does is minimal and I appreciate it, because of that markup they always seem to have at least one of what I want in stock. People just need to realize that local shops need to sell things slightly more expensive to keep a decent stock and a good shop running and I am happy to pay that extra 10 to 15% to keep an awesome local game shop running so I don't have to sell my soul at GameStop.
