THEN... they finally finish, or so they say- and I ask them to deliver it, hoping to rescue it from their evil clutches, and, Dale tells me the delivery driver will call me before he drops it off, because we have to immune deficiency people here, and children, and he needs special instructions not to park at the house on the property- but, does he do that? No. He just shows up. He parks right next to the house, then he unloads. Prior to saying "sure, deliver it" I made sure to ask him, since he said it was fixed, to run it through the gears: "sure, we'll run it through the gears for you before we deliver it". I thanked him. When it arrived, it would not go in gear, and the person delivering it would not drive it. I wondered why not... I didn't have to wonder very long. He finally said he would adjust the clutch, after replacing the clutch. But thats not the end of it. I test drove it down the gravel road, and then parked it. The next day it would not start, it just went blank. No green light, then it decided to come on the next day, but it won't turn over now. My advice: don't buy anything from people like these and expect them to care one bit about you as a customer. I hope that this stops people from being ripped off by these spiders, that lie in wait for some poor saps to come in just so they can dump on them and control them. It's up to you.

The negative: the bike broke down 1 month after getting it back. Same issue that I got fixed at the RF. We take a look...failed fuel pump. No issue, as this type of failure can happen from time to time. However, the real issue was that the fuel pump was the incorrect pump for the bike. My riding partner had a similiar experience on her metric bike, as well. Bottomline: if you're a metric bike, go somewhere else.

Zilch. if I use a wrench something gets snapped off. If I have to put in a bolt something gets cross threaded. So, when I go to a motorcycle repair shop I am at the mercy of the writer. They look at my hands and nails and see meticulous fingernails and extremely clean hands because I am involved in the medical field and wash my hand about 150 times a day. I first moved to Sarasota in 1998. I bought two Harleys from a dealer in Sarasota and Manatee County. I dealt with them for approximately five years. Adequate work, but I thought I was getting taken to the cleaners every time. Then I went to an independent who was very inexpensive, but his work was sloppy. He put a six speed transmission in my Road King. It works great, except for the fact that the heel toe shifter never returned to the neutral position, making shifting a chore. About 30,000 miles ago I went to Precision Cycle. The owner, Ron and the writer/mechanic Rob were two of the nicest guys I've ever met. they have excellent mechanics. Ron calles you a couple of days after works been done just to check and make sure that everything is still to your satisfaction. I trust them and Precision Cycle implicitly, and would have absolutely no problem recommending them to anyone.

Serious incompetence. I went to another place that only decorated bikes. Then I went to a place that charged me 70 dollars to remove a bolt.seriously. I'd had it and was over it and thought everyone that touched a bike in this town was a dope. I bought a vintage 1976 KZ 900 with a 1013 cc bored out engine and its stretched. this could be the coolest bike ever in the history of bikes and I was in love. considering its so old and its an old drag bike I knew it was only a matter of time before it needed work. It broke down and I called some friends. Not only friends but friends that know everyone and have lived in this town their whole lives. They picked me and my baby up with the trailer and brought me to Pride Cycles and introduced me to their friend Anthony. Anthony appreciated the fact I love old bikes and loves that time past as I do. Anthony did not beat around the bush, he was honest ,told me the truth, and took on this massive project with the idea of safety and dependability with this bike and me. He assured me that at 100 miles an hour you don't want maybes. and he was right. the guys at the shop are great. they really love what they do and made me feel so excited, as excited as they are to do the job that needs to be done. I mean all of them. Good people, great work. The amount of work was extensive. New everything. Just a little bit of an idea- new electrics, manifolds, carbs cleaned oil and filter, plugs, brakes, tires- I mean it goes on and on. It was a lot of work, remember my bike is almost 40 years old.
