This place really needs to be twice its size because there is so much inventory crammed into a small space. But dont let thay stop you. He has a great variety of bikes and in so many colors..Although i was not in the market to buy a bike, i learned so much about them that i didnt know before, and Joe was very cordial and took his time to answer all my questions. I dropped it off at 2:00 on day one (and he closes at 3:00). He called me at noon the next day to let me know it was done. This also included swapping the front wheel for another and repairing a slow leak in the rear. The brakes now work as good as new and it tracks perfectly. Very disappointed with the attitude from the service department at Palm Springs Harley…read more My husband paid to have handlebars installed, and after normal riding conditions, including driving through a dip in the road, the handlebars shifted backward while riding. Considering steering components are a major safety issue, we brought the bike back to have it inspected. What bothered us most was not even the $160 charge to tighten them, it was the response from the service manager when my husband questioned why professionally installed handlebars would move under normal riding conditions. He was told that "if you had gotten in a wreck, I wouldn't have fixed your bike either." That comparison made absolutely no sense and came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Hitting a dip in the road is a normal riding condition, not a crash. This also follows a previous installation issue where a highway peg nearly came off on the ride home after service. We were not looking for free work. We simply expected accountability, professionalism, and concern for rider safety. Edit: Normally this location is a solid 5, but this was a 1 star experience. I added stars back because my husband really likes the team out there and wasn't happy that I reviewed. Oh well!
