I was warned that the glass could crack during the process and require a replacement, and they said they couldn't guarantee how much the blemish would improve cosmetically. However, I was never told there was a possibility it could actually look worse.My windshield didn't crack, but they simply ruined the chip that was already there. My nearly unnoticeable spot is now filled with a bright white resin that looks like a Christmas star, and it is directly in my line of vision. It went from a minor cosmetic issue to a major driving hazard.Because of their terrible work, I am out of pocket $500 for a new windshield and another $250 to replace my ceramic tint. To make matters worse, my technician lied on my official service receipt, claiming they washed my windows and vacuumed my car. I have a Ring camera that recorded the entire service, proving they didn't touch the rest of my car. If you complain to your auto insurance company about their poor work and the falsified receipt, the insurance company can refuse to pay Safelite. I am currently escalating this to my insurer to block their payment. I have also demanded that Safelite Corporate launch an official Ethics Investigation into this technician's deceptive paperwork. Save yourself $750 and the headache. Check their real reviews, Google them, and check the BBB before you let them touch your car.

When…read moreI arrived I realized they didn't have a shop per se, just a dirt driveway covered in broken windshield glass. They had a few folding chairs to sit on in the sun. The air reeked of marijuana as well. Seems there is a marijuana grow and/or processing place close by. Not their fault but I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. Can't stand the smell of marijuana. When I got home a warning light in dashboard on. They didn't connect the wire harness on the collision avoidance sensor that is mounted to the windshield. Went back, they connected it All is good...or so I thought. The next day or so, my wife said the whole sensor with its mounting bracket came off the windshield. Looked at it and she was correct the whole thing had come down and was resting in the rear view mirror. Called them and they told me to go back and they would fix it. Went back, they supposedly took care of it. A couple day later it comes down again. Shlepped over there once again so they could look at it. This is when they told me they had installed the wrong windshield! They had also been trying to secure the sensor to the windshield with the black silicone type sealant that it used to seal the windshield onto the vehicle! It was never going to hold. On top of it, they damaged the cover for the sensor, broke off a couple of tabs that secure it to the sensor bracket. They tried to glue it on using the same black sealant! So back I go for the fourth or fifth time with the promise they would take care of the issues. The correct windshield had the mounting bracket already attached with factory strength adhesive that would not detach. They installed the new windshield, but used the same damaged cover and once again used that black sealant to try and secure it to the mounting bracket. The cover has since come off again. I wasn't going to waste my time going back again to this dreadful place. I ordered a new cover and will install it myself. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Follow up is apparently an optional service for the managers of americas tire. On Saturday, I had a 9am appointment. I was told service would be completed by 1045am. The receipt the tech handed me said 955am estimated. The completion text message came in at 935am. At 1115, 2hrs after my appointment, 3 hours after arrival and check in, i asked for my vehicle. The tech told me "looks like the got the tires on but not the alignment." Wrong. Not only did they not put the tires on over a nearly 3 hour period, they attempted to keep my new tires. After be assured we would be contacted regarding the issue on Monday- we finally revived a phone call from Larry on Wednesday offering to "comp" the installation. 1. It's not comp'd installation if it happens nearly a week after the original appointment. And 2, Wednesday is not Monday, Larry. Do better.

For me service continuously not responding. That whole situation was weird and I decided go home. Service did not respond whole day and days after. TLDR. Horrible service, I spent my work time, which for me hard to find and nobody even respond to me. No respect to customers, just don't spend a time.

I brought my car for repair after a flying object, while driving along I-10, hit and broke the right headlight of my toyota rav4. Instead of having two new headlights, we had the old left headlight polished. We were so pleased with the outcome. The polished old left headlight look very brand new and matches well with the brand new right headlight. Our auto repair experience with I-10 auto body was 5 star and more, 10 star, if we can put that rating. John Long, our service advisor, was the best! I am new to the Coachella Valley so when I was looking for repairs to my Lexus I had to rely on Yelp reviews. I selected I-10 Auto Body and gave them a call. From the moment I spoke to DJ I knew I will be in good hands. We scheduled time for me to go for estimate. Everybody in the office were professional and polite. I told DJ to give me different options how to best fix my car. He wrote me 3 different options so I can choose what fits my budget best. He did not try to up sell me and after I made my decision he even gave me another discount. I was given ride home and just a four days later my car was ready. The job was done perfect. My car looks like new! DJ even did another extra repair at no charge. If I ever will be in need of car body repairs I will know exactly where to go. read more
