The employees here really know their stuff. Before my permit class, I got my Shoei Neotec 2 helmet here with the help of a staff member. I had never ridden a motorcycle back then, or even a clutch operated vehicle for that matter. So I really had to trust the employees that they knew what they were talking about & wouldn't oversell me for no reason. I've never regretted it. 3 years later, my helmet is still my most beloved & important piece of gear to date. The women's gear section is pretty limited - but that's unfortunately the norm. Also the store is small, so I don't hold it against them. They seem to have a really good community there. I've run into customers who don't have any specific reason they came/item they need to buy, they're just there for the vibes. Love the motorcycle parking only spots right out front, too. (Warick RI) I paid almost $300 for them to change my tire only to recieve it with a slow leak. I purchased a new tire and tube, after mis-quoting the cost and up-charging me for a more expensive tube a week after I dropped it off. It also wasn't until after I purchased the tire that they told me I wasn't eligible for insurance because it was tubed. I installed the tire on my bike to find that it loses an average of 12 psi per week. Called the store and told them the issue they said they are not responsible. The tire has no punctures and was never ridden before finding the leak from their new tube. Hard working American riders don't deserve this kind of headache. I paid $300 to get a new tire with the same problem I brought it in for. Don't waste your money here. Buy local. Update: Corporate buffer contacted me to follow up. Then, predictably never heard back from anyone. Shop local, where people are actually accountable for their mistakes. Walked in for the 1st time ever and had a new helmet, headset and oil with filter in less than a half hr. They definitely take the extra time and make sure you are not only happy, but safe with what you've chosen! I had Chris help me out, very knowledgable and patient! They even put the headset in my helmet for me because i had no clue how! I'll recommend them to anyone that'll listen! read more

Horrible experience. The manager was unhelpful and rude. i asked him questions about a product and it was like I was bothering him. I don't ever want to go back the place is unwelcoming and I was treated differently because I am a woman. Worst place ever I will just get my gear somewhere else read more

Staff are not very helpful with tire installed they offer me to wait 24 hour to get a tire change also they guy who was doing the tire change was not busy and offer me to go somewhere else to get it not if I didn't like his decision. 5 Stars, cos I know how this works, and I don't want the CG rating to drop... The guys in Warwick are extremely attentive. Frankly, to a fault. I've gotten to where I don't want to go in anymore, because the friendly, overly helpful staff follows me around the store. I feel hounded through my whole shopping experience. CS has all but disappeared in our digital and/or big box culture. It's not that I want it to change, I just don't want to feel pounced on. If I want help, I'll ask. I'm sure the staff is doing exactly what they're supposed to do, and are doing it well, so this isn't a complaint. Just some feedback is all. What a great experience at the store. Super helpful staff, not pushy at all, and made some good recommendations. Prices are as fair as they could be (yes, you might be able to find a cheaper price online), but you can't really trade it for the customer service and the on hand stock. It's always helpful to be able to try on the gear from different manufacturers to get the right fit. Overall great experience! read more

I have a shiny new license and I'm ready to ride, but need the gear. Sure I can go online and read review after review and make a selection I think would work for me. However, not really knowing the ins and outs of the motorcycle world made me leery of pulling the trigger and making a purchase. Enter Cycle Gear - I'm so happy I decided to drop in after work. They, meaning Kali, seemed to know everything about their equipment and guided me in the right direction. Knowledgeable, friendly and patient. She was an enormous help and I walked out of there with a shiny new helmet and gloves. They'll be my first stop when I upgrade my jacket and get Bluetooth.
