In the past, I have typically done all repairs myself since the time and cost associated with a dealer or other repair shop didn't make sense. But with time becoming more of a premium, I looked for a local guy, someone with knowledge and experiences and most of all someone I felt I could trust. On the recommendation of a friend, I used John at Cycle Passions. Very glad I did. John is a straight up guy who does all the work himself (I like that). He obviously cares about building a business by doing right by his customers. Since using John, I have recommended three different friends to him and the have all had the exact same positive experience. John is a highly trained service tech for all MAJOR brands of bikes, quads, watercraft and snow machines. A few weeks ago I took my bike to John to have new tires, brakes and a few other things done in prep for an upcoming 2 week trip. I noticed over the weekend that the weights had fallen off the front wheel. I called yesterday and John said bring it in any time and we'll fix it while you wait. I went after work yesterday. John immediately cleaned of his lift and got to it. While John was working on my bike, he had his eye on the other junior mechanic and was checking on his work and reminding him not to forget to do things - making sure things were done right. These guys are the best great great great can't say any more, I brought in my 2012 Harley limited for service the bike was up on the lift in no matter of time and done when they said. They are fair and honest.They are a small shop and you get the one on one where as the big dealers treat you like a # and then rob you blind. I bought my 1989 Honda Hawk through John and he has done all of maintenance on it. His first priority, always, is that the bike you are riding is safe. He is an excellent mechanic, can do any type of work you need done on your bike, and will go above and beyond to fix the most challenging of issues. I am seriously impressed with John, his expertise, and his way of doing business. The name really says it - Cycle Passions; these are guys who love bikes. I dropped by when my bike developed a weird sound and feel; not something you want when you're on the road in the rain. Took my 2005 Harley Electra Glide Screaming Eagle in a few weeks ago. It had very low oil pressure on a bike with low mileage. John and his team determned the problem quickly and accurately. They made the repair at a very fair price. Took the time to talk with me about the issue and explain the repair process. Showed me the old parts and and the cause of the failure. Had to find a new motorcycle repair shop and picked Cycle Passions due to the reviews I read on line. Needed to get a new front tire installed and balanced on my BMW F800ST.
