One of the COOLEST secrets in St Louis for parents!…read more Shhhh. BWorks offers FREE classes for kids! My kids took a six week Learn to Ride course completely free. Both kids were riding safely and confidently when they were done. After that, we did the six week Earn A Bike classes where they learned how to build and maintain their bikes, and learned road safety. At the end, they got to keep their bikes! For Free! It was such an incredible experience. My kids loved their teachers. They had so much fun learning and riding. And now they are zooming around!

They have dozens of road, mountain, hybrids, and cruisers for sale. BWorks sells used items. Donated bikes are repaired and resold, or chopped up for parts to tune other bikes. Funds go to help inner city youth gain job skills. However, I am looking to replace a bike inexpensively since the frame of my road bike broke after 25 summers of often jarring country roads. BWorks staff were helpful in guiding me not only to available bicycles in my size, but others that would be ready for sell in two weeks or less. Prices are very reasonable, but don't expect new like condition. In addition to two-wheelers BWorks has all kinds of parts, clothing, and cycling paraphernalia for sale.

The green catches your eye from the entrance of Defiance & how can't you not love this shade!! The options once inside for rentals are endless and inclusive for everyone and anyone - the newest addition is the electric bikes! We went with a manual set of bikes and rode the trail directly behind all the way to Augusta (7 miles ish each way) I love the convenience of the trail being directly behind the shop & the variety of parking options. Also close to multiple places to grab a bite to eat after! Have been going to this shop for the last 10 years when we are in need of a rental bike! The new owners were friendly & helpful with the quick and efficient onboarding process of getting on the trail! Don't hesitate to rent here - affordable for a fun family / friend day on the trail!

John was friendly, he explained the operation of the bikes perfectly, easy to understand. The bikes were in excellent condition. I've biked the Katy many times and this was one of my best rides. The trail near Defiance is a beautiful part of the trail, lots of scenic views of the river. Many wineries, breweries and eating places nearby is a plus. We came back a little late on our 2 hour rental but he didn't gouge us for more. Highly recommend renting bikes here if you are looking for a great Katy Trail experience.

I want someone to wet my appetite for what St Louis has to offer. I have to say the guide did just that. He told stories, he interacted well and told corny jokes. Just plain vacation fun. Afterwards I found myself looking up the places he talked about and recommended. Totally worth it. I would go again on my next visit.

Great tour to take to learn about St Louis sites quickly I…read morerecently took the St. Louis Trolley Tour, and I highly recommend it. We parked across the street from the Four Seasons Hotel and the bus picked us up right in their covered driveway. The trolley itself is fantastic. It has the charming, classic look of an old-fashioned trolley but with modern upgrades that make a big difference. It had excellent air conditioning and a high-quality sound system so you could hear the driver. The ride was smooth and comfortable, even on some of the older city streets. Our driver was outstanding. He handled the tour beautifully, especially considering the fact that I am fairly certain that we had to take a completely different route because a sinkhole had opened up downtown that day. Despite the detour, he never missed a beat. His narration was engaging, informative, and full of details about the city's history and landmarks as we passed them by. He made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. The route took us through Forest Park, one of the highlights of the tour. We passed by the St. Louis Zoo and several other beautiful areas within the park. Our driver even stopped for about five minutes in front of the museum, where we were able to enjoy the excellent views across the park. It was a perfect little break in the tour. After leaving Forest Park, we wound our way back through the city, traveling through Midtown and seeing many of St. Louis's other notable sights to include a beautiful church. Overall, it was a very well-run, informative, and enjoyable tour. The combination of the comfortable trolley, excellent driver, and beautiful route made it one of the best city tours we've taken. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Louis.
