Each boat has a central table with ice-filled coolers that is surrounded by 12 bike seats for passengers to pedal to power the boat but don't worry! You don't have to pedal, there is an outboard motor. And if pedaling isn't your thing at all or there's more than 12 of passengers, each boat has a comfy lounge area in the back that is set up for conversation, sipping on your drink and drinking in the views! All cruises are BYOB (cans only and no hard alcohol - a craft beer lovers dream) and you can also bring food/snacks on board! For our cruise, we enjoyed charcuterie cones from Kured.co and Scuba & I obviously had to bring along some on-theme beers including Cushnoc Brewing's 'Can't Buy Backbone' IPA, Wormtown Brewing's Summer Ale and a pounder of Montauk Brewing's Summer Ale (all purchased at Dion's in Waltham). Had a wonderful time on the Harbor Lights tour last night! It was a perfect bachelorette activity, and a special experience to see Boston from the water at night. The crew on the boat were friendly and made us feel safe throughout the trip. They even told us the best place for photo ops! Booked a recent trip with friends. Due to unexpected weather, we left from the dock an hour late. We likely could have left earlier but the captain, who was lovely, had difficulty reaching the owner for permission to leave the dock, even though the storm had passed. My husband finally picked up the phone and call the main number and lo and behold reached the owner. We left the dock at that point. We got a one hour tour instead of the 90 minute tour but likely could have gotten the full tour if the owner had been responsive. We received a Feedback email after the tour and I responded, but never heard back from the owners. You should also be aware that not everybody will get a cycle. There are more people booked than cycles available. Two people in our party stood. If I had known, we would have chosen a different tour. read more

We went on the mimosa morning cruise to celebrate my sister's bachelorette and it was a fantastic time, the crew was so accommodating and brought us up close to see the bigger boats that aren't usually in the harbor. It was our group of 7 girls and we were joined by 2 visitor as well. Plenty of room to spread out! We brought 3 bottles of champagne, juice, seltzers and a fruit/cheese and cracker tray that we found was more than enough for the voyage. It was also very low effort, they put the engine on to help us out a little....but we probably only cycled about 5 minutes total! read more

I booked a pedal boat Mimosa Cruise in October 2022, as a gift. When they arriving between 9:30 and 9:45 as instructed for the boat to leave at 10:00, others who booked were late and the boat didn't leave until 10:20, but still docked at 11:30, which 20 minutes were lost on the cruise. The pedals were broken on the seat where my daughter sat and when asked about it, was told "it broke a few months ago by some drunk college students." When I emailed the Cycleboat, they said it's the end of the season and we'll give you a credit for next year, really? This after telling them, that I did NOT want a gift certificate, that some reimbursement (and I wasn't asking for a full refund, but something for the inconvenience and unprofessionalism. The first trip we booked there ended up being an issues because a group had booked a private tour, but due to some technical difficulties we were also able to book on the same tour. We were told that we were not going to be kicked off, but that if we were ok with it we would get a refund and schedule for a different time. I received a full refund as well as a certificate for 5 free spots for the inconvenience. I would've been happy with just the refund but cycle boat Boston went above and beyond to make it right, and it was very appreciated. WHAT A TRIP! This experience was just what the doctor ordered. A wonderfully clean, sanitized boat; sparkling "no poop zone" restroom; tons of storage coolers for drinks. I had a tour booked at 11:30am today with three friends from out of state who are only here for the weekend. Cycleboat called to cancel on us at 9:15am today. How they can do this is beyond me - we booked and fully paid days in advance. So I recommend not booking this tour because who knows if you'll even be able to go on it!!
