I was invited by a friend to check out this studio and got to see what I have been missing out on!! I've been to other (typical) cycle classes and over the last few months have shifted to using a Peloton. While I love the convenience of working out at home, I really loved all of the same features of the Peloton at this studio, but in a group setting. The bikes are linked to a leader board in the front of the room that show where you stand. The instructors are motivational and there are large TV screens that play music videos. Not to mention, towels and water are provided at the beginning and mid way through class. AND the studio has a built in clothing boutique with the cutest clothes! To top it off: they have a rewards program to earn points by attending classes, making purchases, and referring friends that can be redeemed for all sorts of things! I was looking around at different cycling studios and tried to decide this one out based upon the awesome Yelp reviews. I now see why they are rated so highly! The spin studio is beautifully set up and the spin room feels as if you're at a party in a night club with the different spotlight colors and music videos playing on the screen. I also really appreciated that they gave you spin shoes to use free of charge as I have seen a lot of other studios charge for this. The class itself is so much fun! The leader board really helped me push and try harder so I could get my name on the screen and try to 'win'. I know there is no actual prize but surprisingly it was still very motivating and made me dig deeper. Half way through the class, water bottles are brought in and at the end a cool eucalyptus scented towel is given to you to freshen up. It's these little touches that makes Cycletique stand out from the competitors. To top the excellent class off, the studio even gave a free class to thank me for trying them out. This place is such a gem. They treat you like family and are incredibly welcoming each time. It is always clean and the boutique offers the cutest clothes but it's the talented instructors and nice staff who keep us coming back. Since joining Cycletique a little over a year ago, I've lost 15 pounds and am getting stronger every week. Cycletique is a gym that will keep you motivated through knowledgeable instructors, challenges, the best technology and a lot of cheerful encouragement. The instructors always teach the class with a clear plan for an engaging class (both mentally and for all of your muscle groups). They also offer a few different formats of classes and all the instructors have a different style so you can figure out what works for you! This boutique gym also sets itself apart because they play music videos throughout the class and keep the leader board up the whole time which is helpful as a distraction and a motivator. You can opt to not have your name appear on the leader board but your bike will still track your statistics and you'll get an email at the end of class so you can track your improvements. If you've never been to a spin class before, Cycletique will make sure you're set up and know what to expect. The instructors provide modifications throughout the class so that you have a challenging workout whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider. I haven't found another gym anywhere else that compares! read more

Cycletique has amazing staff who always welcome you with a smile. They have a variety of classes from dancing on the bike to a regular endurance cycling class. The instructors each have their own style and it makes it exciting to go try each one. There is a class for everyone no matter your experience on the bike!!! I've tried spinning classes at a variety of gyms, but this was the first spinning only location I've visited. I was quickly won over by the staff alone, but there were many more aspects that put this place above all and into my most favorite! Newbies, do not be scared! There are many helpful hands to get you set up on your bike properly! Use the free cycling shoes that they offer for a better experience, too! I love the variety of instructors and special events and themes they host. The rooms are kept cool and dark so you can just focus on yourself and make the workout your own. The nice thing is that you can truly structure the experience to fit your own level. The fact that the workouts also incorporate arm weights makes it very well rounded. Shortly before the session is over, a staff member will bring around cold water if you need it and by the time you get to cool down, chilled towels that have some kind of magical aroma are delivered to your bike to top off the experience. Seriously, I'd go just for these towels! The ability to reserve a bike online or through their app is great! read more

Okay LOVE! It's been quite some time since I've attended a spin class, so you know you're always a little nervous to jump back in and of course get your bike set up perfectly. Well, I walk in and check in is so easily. They also offer complementary spin shoes while you're there. Yes, they're clean and new, not like old bowling shoes hah! She then took me into my bike and helped me set it up just right. She also helped me click in my shoes and made me feel comfortable getting started. Class was - - energetic and fun but the instructor definitely pushes you to do your best! I enjoyed how the instructor gave you a number level you should try to be on. That way I knew I was pushing myself hard enough and was not going to burn out. Towards the end of class they bring you cold bottles of water and at the end they bring you an amazingly cold and lavender scented essential oil towel. Needless to say, I cannot wait to buy a package and get fit! I didn't take a look at their little area where they sell clothes and gear, but it looked nice from afar. I've taken spin classes at a few different places in Pittsburgh and the staff and class at Cycletique surpassed my previous experiences. Jill, the instructor for the "Work It 55" class was extremely friendly and personable, and so upbeat and motivating during class! I particularly loved the "Work It 55" class. I'm a fitness enthusiast, and I loved this full body workout-bursts of spin with the addition of the use of light weights, squat jumps, lunges, and intense abdominal work off the bike. Jaime, another instructor, offered water and surprised me by placing a free class in my account! Chilled towels soaked in essential oils-I'm thinking eucalyptus and lavender-were given out at the completion of class and were simply divine. The online schedule seems to fill up quickly, and I'll be booking my next class soon! read more

A great cycling studio in Pittsburgh. I have been to SoulCycle and was excited to try this cycling studio. Everyone is very friendly. They have shoes, towels, weights, water, and even cold towels. The studio is nice and spacious and is tiered so you can see even in the back row. The instructors are always willing to help and adjust the bike settings. The classes are a great workout and you get emailed your stats afterward. read more

This is the best spin studio I've ever been to. I took a class here through ClassPass and I'm excited to come back. The facility is beautiful and the owner is so nice! She came up to me and greeted me, brought me spin shoes, and made sure I got situated on my bike. Halfway through the class they bring out water bottles if you need them, and at the end bring out chilled, lavender scented towels! First time ever trying cycletique! Way better than any other spin class I have done in Pittsburgh! Talked with one of the owners and she was so helpful and welcoming! Since it was my first time they took time to set me up with shoes, show me how to use the bike, and explain the class. During class they give you more water if needed half way through, have great music, and give you a nice chilled towel during cool down full of essential oils!!! 100% recommend and I will be back !!!! read more

If it wasn't for Cycletique I don't know if i would have given spinning another chance, because my first spin class was at a place that is now closed.. they didn't seem to care much about teaching us the positions for the beginners and i didn't like the whole vibe or experience i had. BUT Cycletique was the reason i truly am passionate about spinning now. This spin place and boutique is one of the very best in the south hills area! Extremely clean and trendy, offering so many cute clothes and they supply you with water and snacks or even spinning shoes if you need them! This place is fresh and fun, extremely clean and top of the line. The lavender scented chilled towel at the end of our workout is what keeps me coming back! If it's your first time, i suggest trying your first class with Becca, she is super informative and fun and helps you understand what you need to do as she goes along in the routine.
