I was recommended TPH by another plumber I know who mostly does install. They came out the next day. We had bought the house a few months ago and didn't really know anything about the system which is a grinder pump. They were pretty sure it was electrical but the access needed to be pumped. They took the initiative to coordinate with the septic pump firm and got them out that afternoon. Next day they fixed the issue in a manner of a few hours. In addition, Jason, Byron and Ronnie were so professional and just good dudes. My dog thought the same thing and he's pretty picky about who he warms up to. I see a few negative reviews about the hourly cost. That just seems out of touch. We've had other plumbers both here and in Dallas and TPH's rate is right in line and frankly better service. I'm canceling my other annual contract and will be using TPH.

I contacted T. P. Howard about replacing a thermistor on a Rheem Hybrid water heater. The unit is…read moreconnected to Rheem by Internet. A code was sent indicating a thermistor was reading out of range. Rheem sent the part and written instructions on replacing it, with photos of which part needed to be replaced. It literally is a plug in part. The service charge was $187, which I thought was high. But the guys they sent out replaced the wrong one. So after they left the same error code was again sent. So I had to call T. P. Howard again to come back and replace the correct one. Even though they were the ones that made the error, they charged me another $187 to come back and correct THEIR MISTAKE. I don't think I should have had to pay them again to come back to fix their mistake! That's $374 to plug in a part! That's just greed, plain and simple! Avoid them!
