But each time the deductible charged by the insurance was different. So confused, we contacted the insurance and they mentioned that each time a different CPT code was used. I called the doctors office they were not helpful or did not want to provide the details of the service and asked me to check with insurance. Confused, so just landed up paying without knowing why they were using different CPT codes for each of the service and why it was different. I think patients owe an explanation of the services performed in the invoice.

He's also very thorough with double checking information during the eye exam and measuring my eyes, preparing for eye muscle surgery. After my surgery, Dr. Lustig was kind to speak to me days after my surgery while he was at the airport going on vacation, after being informed that I had some concerns and was crying, freaking out about my post surgery symptoms. He assured me that what I was experiencing was normal. He explained that everyone heals differently and at different speeds. I was so grateful and appreciative of his kindness. Dr. Lustig is great!

i just received an abrasive call at 9:52pm from dr wong's office, who admonished me for "casually…read morebooking an appointment" then subsequently cancelling less than 10 minutes after i had booked on zocdoc, after reading these reviews. he told me the doctor gets charged $30 for these casual cancellations, then abruptly hung up on me. i think that's your own problem for choosing to pay for an online booking service and not my fault for using zocdoc the way it was intended. i also am in healthcare and have formerly worked for an ophthalmologist, for whom i helped set up zocdoc and we would never call patients to harass them for cancelling an appointment they can't make in advance. i'm glad i made the right call.
