Waxing is expensive, so I think it is fair to expect a certain amount of respect and courtesy from the person you choose to purchase this service from. Every time I have been to Cynthia's, she's been at least 10-15 minutes late. That's rude enough, but then she doesn't even apologize for being late! She really has no respect for her clients' time or busy schedules. My second issue with Cynthia's is that the last time I got a Brazilian here, she lifted the skin, causing me a lot of pain and extreme redness. She wasn't apologetic for that either, and when I mentioned it this time, she tried to argue with me about it, and acted as though I had done something wrong (taking antibiotics before waxing, etc, which I hadn't). I really cannot recommend a business that treats its clients this way, especially one that does something so personal. Cynthia has been nothing but disrespectful, unhelpful, and unfriendly to me since the first time I came to her for a wax. I will not be back. read more

Brow tinting! I have see through eyebrows and finally figured out that eyebrow tinting is the perfect solution. Cynthia recognized my nervousness (as it was my first tint ever) and made me very comfortable. Her space is very relaxing, and even the tint smells good. Both times I've been to Cynthia she's made my brows look great and her prices are more than fair. Her studio is very cute, too and I appreciate the online booking option. She's not the warmest personality but that's not the top priority for me. However, the first time I went to Cynthia she was 20 minutes late (texted me to let me know). I understand traffic happens. Then her credit card app wasn't working and I had to drive home and back to bring her a check. Not within her control though. But the second time I went to Cynthia I sat outside her studio for 15 minutes past my appointment time. Her door was closed like she had a client and I even knocked, no answer. She didn't even know I had booked an appointment (48 hours before). She still waxed my brows but a 30 minute appointment became almost an hour ordeal. Not professional. UPDATE: Cynthia sent me a very nice apology. I went back to her for brow and lip. She was on time, no scheduling issues, and my brows look fabulous as usual. read more

Found this place on Yelp since I was visiting from out of town. She is usually by appointment only but was able to get me in as soon as I called which was awesome. Her suite is located in a larger building with about 50 other suites so when you're looking for her location it's in a 2 story building with skin/nails/body on the front of it. Her room was clean and relaxing on the second floor. She did my lip and brows quickly and helped me shape me eyebrows as well as let me know where to grow them out to get them looking perfect. She used minimal amounts of wax as well as to not irritate my skin. GREAT prices too!!! Would recommend to anyone needing facial waxing. read more

Had a great experience. My appointment was the day my husband and I left on a 9 day trip. Cynthia very professionally did my first Brazilian wax, calming me through the process. She was professional yet personable. Although waxing is not a "comfortable" experience, I never felt uncomfortable around Cynthia. Then she proceeded to wax my legs, underarms, eyebrows and face.
