The worst experience ever…read more Before our insurance would allow them to begin repairs on the car, they told me is it would be ready within 11 days. Once that 11th day came, we heard every excuse as to why my car wasn't ready. Finally, they told us that they ordered a part for the car, but it wouldn't arrive until the next day. The next day came and the car wasn't ready. The next day came, but their painting machine broke so I'd have to wait an entire week since they don't work weekends and the paint needs time to rest. They were able to paint my car, but it still needed to be aligned. They ended up losing my keys, costing us another week since this happened on a Friday. Finally they were able to operate on my car's alignment, but they still needed to order the headlight. This ended up lasting 4 weeks for something we were told would last 11 days. On top of that, they also took all of the change in the car, a phone charger, and a cap from my trunk. This is the worst place to take your car too, not to mention their work is crappy. The replacement parts they put on are plated over the original parts and grind against them. Horrible service on all fronts!

I questioned the pricing because the parts quoted were significantly higher than OEM-equivalent parts available from reputable suppliers. Instead of a clear explanation or written breakdown provided in advance, the situation escalated. I ultimately paid the fee under protest in order to retrieve my vehicle. I understand shops need to be paid for diagnostics, but fees should be clearly disclosed before service, and customers should not feel pressured when they decline repairs. I strongly recommend getting all diagnostic fees and estimates in writing upfront before using this shop.

Jeff let me know I was too far for them when I gave him the hotel's address! I had no idea he was in Spring! That would usually be the end of the call right? Not so with Jeff.. he found a five star shop...five minutes away....by using his computer to help me out. The shop was great to us ...good price good work...friendly service....and quick enough for us to get back to our other hotel before the check out deadline for another night for our bags, lol. They are very good at keeping your car hostage and charging you an exorbitant amount for simple maintenance. We're not from the area and they can smell it here.

I was unfortunate to lose the air conditioner in my Truck while traveling through Houston with a 40 foot trailer accompanied by my wife and two small boys. I checked into an RV park near Oak Ridge Car Clinic's location and the were recommended by my neighbor in the park. I am on deadline to travel to Amarillo, and needed my truck fixed ASAP. I called them on a Friday and said I needed to be back on the road Tuesday, could they help. I spoke with the Father who told me to come for a diagnosis. He said I needed a new compressor and belt, they were shot. He said if he could get the parts he could get it done on Monday. He claimed that he spent Friday afternoon and Saturday morning searching for the parts and they simply weren't available in Houston. He said a friend of his that works for Ford told him that in a dire emergency they would come up with the parts to get the job done. I went to Ford on Saturday, and they told me they didn't have a service slot available until Wednesday or Thursday but they would be glad to sell me the parts. They had two in stock. So I bought the parts. I called Oak Ridge Car Clinic Monday morning, and the son answered. Said his Dad was on vacation for a week, he was all alone and had 4 cars in front of me before he could work on my truck. Then he got nasty. He said it was first come first served, and he couldn't promise me anything about getting the job done by my deadline. I asked why his dad told me that he could do it if he could get the parts, and he said, "well he knew he couldn't get the parts." So he was stringing me along and had no intention of taking the job and didn't want to tell me that. I called their competitor, next door, and they said come on over, we'll take care of you. This was a very bad business practice.
