I brought my vehicle to Eagle Auto & Transmission for a diagnostic only. I did not authorize any repairs or teardown. After the diagnostic, I was quoted $2,700 for a clutch and flywheel replacement. When I declined the repair, I was told I owed $350 to retrieve my vehicle -- a diagnostic fee that was never disclosed upfront when I agreed to the diagnostic. I questioned the pricing because the parts quoted were significantly higher than OEM-equivalent parts available from reputable suppliers. Instead of a clear explanation or written breakdown provided in advance, the situation escalated. I ultimately paid the fee under protest in order to retrieve my vehicle. I understand shops need to be paid for diagnostics, but fees should be clearly disclosed before service, and customers should not feel pressured when they decline repairs. I strongly recommend getting all diagnostic fees and estimates in writing upfront before using this shop. read more

I haven't actually been to Eagle, but I've had a great experience with them. You see, my truck broke down in the middle of no where....in the middle of the night....in Louisiana!!!! I Had my wife and my mother in law with me, but not our bags! They were in another hotel & we were paying 2 hotels for one night! ( I wonder if our bags missed us? Lol) anyway, our hotel was about all there was around us and ever time I googled "auto repair near me" it gave me Lafayette ( which was 49 miles away & the truck squealed & popped like the wheels were coming off! I googled again & it gave me Spring Texas accidentally assuming " near me" meant I was at home...in Spring Texas ...so Google accidentally gave me " Eagle Auto..." Jeff let me know I was too far for them when I gave him the hotel's address! I had no idea he was in Spring! That would usually be the end of the call right? Not so with Jeff.. he found a five star shop...five minutes away....by using his computer to help me out. The shop was great to us ...good price good work...friendly service....and quick enough for us to get back to our other hotel before the check out deadline for another night for our bags, lol. Thanks to Jeff, a horrible experience turned into a thankful one. He really went the extra mile for complete strangers and non- customers. I came to Eagle to get my valve body replaced on my 2014 infiniti q50. Initially when I stepped in, Jeff was very friendly and helpful with any questions that I had. Both him and Brian (i believe was his name) we very communicative about what was happening with my car during the repair. This shop definitely seems more for their customers rather than for the money. They cut me a really good deal fixing my valve body, I would recommend going here for any issues. I am writing this review, not as a customer, but as a former employee. I was hired on almost a year ago and it was agreed that I would make a salary pay for my wages. About 2 months or so ago the owner hired a new manager and he brought some of his own people in and ever since then they have been losing money. He called me in the office one day and told me they were THINKING about putting me on flag hours instead of salary but we would talk more about it and never had another conversation about it. The manager called me in the office on a Friday morning after I worked all week and told me they had to let me go because they couldn't afford to pay me my salary any longer. They next week I was told that my last check was ready and I could come by and pick it up and to bring my uniforms with me . I bring my uniforms and they handed me my last check which was only a little over $200 . FOR A WEEK !!! I My check was over $1000 dollars short. I called the owner who refused to answer my call and would only respond through text . And basically he said he was nice enough to pay ne salary for one day and flag hours the rest of the week. (Which was never agreed on or talked about again) I would check vehicles and then the manager would give the work to his guys he brought with him so even I I did agree on flag hours I would not have made any money. I tried texting the owner several times to have him make it right and pay me my money and he refuses to respond. I have filed a complaint with the Department of Labor. If he can't even be fair and honest with his employees then I can imagine how he is with his customers. Following up to a response from the owner to this review... Of course he will say all those things to try and protect his business. And if I would have known that he was changing my pay right then , I would have walked out. He even said it in his reply to this review ", we talked about putting him on flag hour in the future so he'd have the opportunity to make more money" . Those were his words " we talked about it for in the future" But i will let him say all those things because I know my worth ethic and integrity so i just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. He is more worried about someone reading a bad review than taking care of the employees. Of courshe he would try to tear my character and worth ethic down to save his own reputation. I have NEVER had a problem at another job or getting my last pay. It just shows that you can't trust everyone. But I work for a much more honest business now. However, I will also continue with my claim at the Department of Labor. read more

They get 5 stars for one simple reason from me. Showed up and asked if they did ac repairs and state inspections. Front desk was very professional and said they did the ac but wait time would be long. Then recommended me to a place close by that could take care of me and said to say he sent me over. He called his buddy and helped me out. That is A+ customer service. read more

I honestly have mixed feelings about this place. I went in to get my sunroof looked at. Because it wasn't opening. They were very nice and professional. Guy told me my car computer kicked out the program for my sunroof and it would be 347 dollars for them to add the program back to my car computer. This sounded odd to me that it would cost that much for them to hook a little computer to my car. There was no hard labor put in and it took them all of 20 min to do it. They did fix it and it was able to open again which I really appreciate. I love my sunroof it's reason I got the car. It's just I feel like they over changer me for something that looked really simple. read more

This shop had a poor manager but after talking through my complaints with the owner, he explained the situation, fired the manager and he made things right with me. I didn't end up using them for my transmission repairs so I can't speak to their repair skills but the owner seems to be an honest guy. I'd trust them with my car. read more
