Hey family! I'm on my way to the beach and halfway there, I see a sign for the vineyard. Since it's just me and I wasn't in a hurry I decided to stop by. I've been to a lot of wineries but this one has such variety. Whether you like, dry, sweet, or semi sweet, you are guaranteed to like something from there. I was warmly greeted by the staff and I did a tasting. They have 4 flights to choose from and your tasting includes 2 of those flights. I tend to enjoy more dryer wines and I was blown away. When someone mentions Muscadine, I cringe because it's usually syrupy sweet. Their wines are not like that and what sets them apart is that they sweeten with sugar cane instead of corn syrup. It makes a huge difference. I actually enjoyed their sweet wines as well because of this. I loved the fact that their descriptions are true to the taste. While I've had fruit wines, most of them only have a hint of fruit. At Cypress, you truly taste the fruit which is so refreshing and fun. It's very cozy in the inside and they have ample seating outside as well. It's a large space for hosting your special event. They also have live music on Fridays. I had such a wonderful time learning a little about the history and how they harvest their grapes. I also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Tina whom was very delightful to talk to. I would encourage anyone to check them out and give them a try. Indulge in a tasting so you can try more and they also have snacks on site as well. Although, I don't live in the area, I will definitely bring my girlfriends for a day trip with the vineyard being on the agenda. I am from Wagram NC. I had no idea that the Cypress Bend Vineyard's were in our very own back yard. It was so refreshing after a 11 hour flight from Hawaii! The History here is so rich. Generationally worked and passed down through 5 generations. Creating wines and bringing back the good old times to a small town in Scotland County. What I witnessed on tonight was short of a miracle. Over one hundred people gathering under one huge white tent, celebrating the many layers of life. Birthdays, Anniversaries, Class Reunions, and even an engagement on tonight. This has been occurring weekly for years. Folks from different ethnicities, ages and backgrounds Gathering to Dance the night away. Enjoying whatever Ono Grindz they provided while wine tasting. We're gathered together to celebrate our 30 year high school class reunion. My sister and Monica couldn't have chosen a better spot to host the event. A beautiful summer like day with an even more gorgeous sunset. A Full band every Friday night. Tonight's band was Sand Band! They call it Jazzy Friday's. There wasn't a song that the Sand Band didn't know. The line dancing was on point. Ridiculously Good They have a food truck on site to order from. You can bring food for your event as well. Only requirement is $15 entry and purchase wine for your celebrations. Dan and Tina Smith created an oasis where folks can visit Setting country living at its best. There is a wine tasting room as well as a retail store. Visitors can sample wines while sitting outside enjoying the view of 35 magnificent acres of Family farmland. Had a good visit . Pretty good wine and nice atmosphere. Wasn't very busy and service was ok.

This vineyard what's smaller than some of the others are visited but they were personable. I did a tasting and the young lady was very inviting and easy to talk to an acceptable of questions. They have a dining room area which you can reserve and bringing your own food but they did not offer a food menu. When you first walk in the tasting room and the gift shop is combined. This is one of the smaller vineyards I've been to but the wine was good so I'll be back read more

You got to love a nice looking vineyard, it's so peaceful and relaxing. To top it of the Hostess was so nice. She did our tasting and showed us around and it was a great way to spend some quality time before the wedding event we had going on that weekend. We really did enjoy our time there. read more

I did get a return call after posting from Lisa saying that they do stand behind their wines. I returned her call and got voicemail and left message and again no response. I just don't get it, every winery has a few corked bottles and to not acknowledge and rectify it is so beyond my understanding. read more

My wife and I had the pleasure of trying and purchasing some wine from this vineyard when they had a stand at the 2018 Dogwood Festival. The wine was so delicious (coming from a person who doesn't really like wine) that we had to visit the vineyard. Went there with friends yesterday and it was a breathtaking experience. I stopped by here on a whim today. I am so glad i did. Lately, my wife and i have been visiting vineyards all across the state, so when we passed the sign on highway 74 we went for it. We got a tour of the grounds and the facilities. I was quite impressed with the operation. We then went for a tasting... well more so my wife. I had a very small sampling of the Mcneill, Campbell, and the Sweetheart stream. I thought they all were delicious even though I'm not too much of a wine drinker. We ended up purchasing a bottle of Campbell. We enjoyed our little excursion and intend to come back. read more

If we were to imagine what ideal muscadine would taste like, I would say this is the place to go. All of their wines weren't too shabby at all. They had 2 different tastings for $5 each (comes with a small glass to keep). So we shared one of each tasting. We generally don't like sweet wines, but their muscadines were decent. The stuff we liked here were semi-sweet, which is how a lot of their wines are. And the price of $12-15/bottle is pretty affordable too. So we ended up buying a bottle to take back to Cali with us. If you like semi-sweet wines or are interested in how you think muscadine should taste, definitely try this place. read more

If you need an inexpensive Friday Night getaway for the mature crowd, take a break at the Cypress Bend Vineyards in Wagram NC. Their Friday Night Jazz Events is worth the $10.00 entrance charge. This is our second visit to this charming hideaway and I would like to say it is okay to bring in your own food and non-alcoholic items for your own consumption. However, you can purchase food from an onsite vendor at a comfortable price. In addition, check out the wine list and I will say you will better off purchasing a bottle of wine instead of purchasing a glass of wine. Finally, on a weather perfect Friday Night, you will find the lawn venue a better choice than the inside tent. We will come back several times during the 2016 season. Word to the wise: If you are going with a group of 4 or more? Call ahead for reservations. read more

Fun place to go with family or a small group of friends. The plus is you can bring your own food and snacks and not spend a fortune on buying cheese and crackers. The food vendor on site has reasonable prices and really good southern food! The sand Band on Fridays is great and fun. Good time for the whole family. This place is in the middle of NOWHERE. That fact irritated me but by the end of my visit I realized that's a part of its charm. I greatly enjoyed "jazzy Friday." Good musicians who were happy live & upbeat. The wine is surprisingly awesome. I've seen it in the triad's Totalwine stores but never thought to try it. If you dig the muscadine, their sweets are just like eating the grapes themselves. read more

Went to an event at this vineyard. They have a live band every other Friday. Nice band and nice crowd. You can bring your own food, the cost to get in is $10.00. Each bottle of wine is $10.00 comes with a bucket of ice. You can bring your own glasses or buy them for 2 or 3 dollars. They have a large tent set up with table and chairs. Hours are 6-10 pm for Friday events. Wine tasting wss $5 for 8 different tastes. Staff was nice and courteous. Okay,the wine is not the best wine but good. Gave 4 stars for the crowd, band and staff. read more

We really enjoyed the End of Summer event Sept. 21. The Sand Band rocked the house. The dance floor was jumping and tables filled up. I love that the vinyard is out in the country. Adds to the charm.
