Hey family! I'm on my way to the beach and halfway there, I see a sign for the vineyard. Since it's…read morejust me and I wasn't in a hurry I decided to stop by. I've been to a lot of wineries but this one has such variety. Whether you like, dry, sweet, or semi sweet, you are guaranteed to like something from there. I was warmly greeted by the staff and I did a tasting. They have 4 flights to choose from and your tasting includes 2 of those flights. I tend to enjoy more dryer wines and I was blown away. When someone mentions Muscadine, I cringe because it's usually syrupy sweet. Their wines are not like that and what sets them apart is that they sweeten with sugar cane instead of corn syrup. It makes a huge difference. I actually enjoyed their sweet wines as well because of this. I loved the fact that their descriptions are true to the taste. While I've had fruit wines, most of them only have a hint of fruit. At Cypress, you truly taste the fruit which is so refreshing and fun. It's very cozy in the inside and they have ample seating outside as well. It's a large space for hosting your special event. They also have live music on Fridays. I had such a wonderful time learning a little about the history and how they harvest their grapes. I also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Tina whom was very delightful to talk to. I would encourage anyone to check them out and give them a try. Indulge in a tasting so you can try more and they also have snacks on site as well. Although, I don't live in the area, I will definitely bring my girlfriends for a day trip with the vineyard being on the agenda. I hope you all will check them out and enjoy it as much as I have.

Great service and great wine. I stop here often for a bottle wine. Their Christmas wines are amazingread more

We stopped by on a Sunday just before opening and were warmly welcomed by Chris and Susan, who immediately made us feel at home. Their hospitality set the tone for a wonderful tasting experience. We started with two tasting flights, working our way through the whites before moving on to the reds. The standout of the day was Summer Dreams, a refreshing and playful white that's both floral and elegant. It was the perfect wine for a warm afternoon, and we enjoyed it so much that we ordered a chilled bottle to share on-site. The Summer Dreams paired wonderfully with an assortment of everything crackers, salami, and a delicious goat cheese tapenade from Celebrity Dairy Farm. We had planned to wander outside and explore the vineyard views from the porch, but the summer heat had other plans! Before leaving, we picked up a bottle of Purple Martin to take home. This semi-sweet red delivers inviting plum and black cherry flavors. The wines were excellent, the setting was charming, and the service was genuinely welcoming. FireClay Cellars is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended.

There were two that I really enjoyed: Chardonel 2022 (white) and Fireside 2021 (red). The inside is spacious and the service was great! This would be an excellent venue for a party or small reception. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 stars (if Yelp allowed).

A tasting of everything the distillery sells was the start of the early afternoon after arrival. Tina is the consummate ambassador of the brand, professional, knowledgeable and most importantly, personable. One of the best liquor tastings we've experienced. We did end up buying a variety of several liquor. The prices are right. 2. The Cottages- Rose Garden 123, for us, now sets the example of what a clean and perfectly designed lodging should be. 3. Dinner- Again, nothing less than satisfying at the Cork room Restaurant. Nice dinner menu selection, very well made cocktails alongside attentive and personable staff. We both had beef entrees, the beef was better tasting than beef we've had in a long time, just tasted clean Also, perfectly seasoned and cooked to the doneness as ordered. Overall, this is a well run business with excellent staff. Easy choice to come back again.

Toni, our server, was very nice and understanding when we told her the fish from the fish and chips order just wasn't very good. According to the eater, it was "too fishy tasting," and the texture was different than typical deep fried fish. My son-in-law had the steak tips, and he cleaned his plate, so I'm guessing they were good. I had the Po' Boy sandwich, the third one I've had in the last few weeks!! Mine was good, but instead of a hoagie-like bun, it came on hamburger buns, so not quite as big as I thought it'd be. Still pretty good, though! The sweet tater fries were excellent!
