Animals are kept in clean enclosures and look great. Everything is well maintained on the grounds. Kids loved the Dinosaur meet and greet. Along with the dinosaurs trail. Food and drinks were good, not overpriced. Even the gift shop has fair prices. Which is rare for zoos/petting zoo. Definitely worth buying tickets online. read more

This place was cool, they have a bunch of options for activities to do here. We did the go karts, the was they explain the rules you would think you get to get some real speed going but your actually in the woods doing about 8-12 miles an hour. It was ok. I got a four person go kart, if we make the trip again definitely getting the single bikes, that might be more interesting. read more

This is one of the hidden gems in North Carolina. It is beautiful, with plenty of animals, and the staff are extremely courteous, making you feel like part of their family. There are many activities available, including fishing, and we were especially impressed with Festival of Lights and Dinosaur World. We will definitely be returning. I am in town visiting my kids and grandson. When looking for something to do this came up and was open Sundays. We have been to Gillis Hills before, but they are closed Sunday so we thought we would try this. The website looked like they had tons of activities and things to do. We arrived and paid the $10 per adult and my grandson is 2 so he had free admission. They said there was one building we couldn't go to but otherwise had full access to the whole farm and she gave us a map and put a red X though the building off limits. We started to walk around and it was hot- but we expected that. First let me say all the pictures of activities on the website are not there now. We ran into another family who said when they asked about the other activities and they were told that was only for the summer and ended August 5. I didn't recall seeing that info on the site and neither did they. After walking for a bit and seeing everyone else (literally there were 3 other guest groups and all in golf carts) my son went back to ask about them and rented one. They were $25 for the first hour and $15 each additional. I was surprised the girl at the admission booth didn't try to upset it to us but everyone else clearly got the memo! The map had a dotted line around an area and the legend said that was not for self guided tours, but when we saw others going there we asked a worker and he said of course we could go there. It was a dinosaur set up in the woods. It was fun to drive through the woods, but the display was not much to write home about. To sum up what we saw was kind of sad. Many of the animals areas were not well kept and in really bad disrepair. They had dogs on display as well and although they had a fan blowing on the Australian Shepherds enclosure it was so hot for them but worse those are super active dogs to be cooped up in small area that was weed overgrown. The reptile room was awful and the habitats were disgusting. There was also just stuff all over the place. Things for other holidays out and leaned up against whatever with weeds and tall grass growing up and through them so it was obvious all those things had been there a while. So for us, visiting this farm was not the best experience and we will look forward to heading to Gillis later on the week. read more

This was the biggest rip off for Christmas lights. $8 per person for "customer appreciation" was the cheapest night and it still wasn't worth it. The employee taking money didn't even know priced and you got yelled out for trying to pull off where you wouldn't impede traffic and taking a quick picture outside the car. Amazing for the kids! Priced really well, staff is amazing! We went to go look at the puppies and it was 95 degrees out. We all didn't realize how exhausted we were and hot. This gentleman working there came over and let us into the AC building, got us ice from out back, and overall was so extremely nice. We definitely will be going back! read more

So first let's start with this. 30$ per adult 20$ per child. Does not include the 5$ LEMONADE AND 3$ sodas they charge. Nor the additional charges for go karts or the train. Dinosaur trail was so cheap and half a$$ed. their employees are over worked and underpaid working in the sun with little shade fans or hydration. The " managers " ride on the golf cart or four wheeler and yell and scream at the team members for trying too cool off, and they're obvious if anyone gets hurt. The owner watches and stalks the employees on the cameras. If I could give less than a star I'd gladly do it. The potential is there but the Managment doesn't the creativity all around pretty bad and poor exhibits and rides if you'd call them that. Won't be going back. And 100$ for a family of 4 is a bit ridiculous. read more

Sweet Valley has the ultimate destination for families this summer, fall, and winter. Took the kids to see Dinosaur World and it was outstanding!!! I was amazed at the animatronics of the dinosaurs and it kept my 3 year old boy screaming and laughing and my 18 month old girl the same. The entire complex is just beautiful. The asphalt paved loop through Dinosaur World is shaded which was sweet for the heat we had today. The animals on display are amazing!!! Numerous types of birds, tortoises, ducks, camels, horses, snakes, chickens, chicks, and many, many more. The gift shop has a great assortment of toys and snacks, drinks. There is a nice snack shack and shaded play area at the entrance of Dinosaur World that allows you to take a break, eat some pizza or a great hot dog. Sweet Valley Ranch has put Fayetteville on the mall for family destinations. We cant wait for the Festival of Lights this Christmas!! Great setup! I can't believe how big it is! My family had a fantastic time at the pumpkin patch and on the GIANT inflatables. My 1.5yr old loved it and Brittany the attendant at the bouncy house area even had Halloween candy for the kids! Ghost at the souvenir stand was also super helpful and wonderful to chat with! We can't wait to head over for the Festival of Lights in December! read more
