Service was quite leisurely, taking several minutes to receive water and then another several to place the order. We decided on the pimento cheese for the table, the seared tuna for me and the hot honey prosciutto flatbread for her. To drink I got the red flight and she got the cab. The wine was drinkable but seemed very much like table wine. Nothing unique nor worth the price. My seared tuna was good, her flatbread was incorrect with buffalo sauce instead of hot honey and the pimento cheese was forgotten. Several more minutes before the pimento cheese was delivered. They apologized and said they would comp 1 wine or a dessert. I had finished my tuna before her flatbread was delivered that came with some sort of buffalo-mayo sauce, still not hot honey which was the only reason she ordered it. When the bill arrived there 2 wine flights ordered. We wanted to like this place but we won't be returning.

Grandfather Doodle Sasser was the pioneer moonshiner and they made the business "legal". The GOAT Whiskey was superb. Tried it straight up, then with margarita mix- wow! Delicious. Next up, the REAPER. Hold onto your seat folks. As per our tour guide; 1 reaper pepper is used to make 60 bottles (if i'm quoting her correctly) so that gives you a hint how far that pepper goes and the heat it brings with it. Tried it straight up and definitely reminiscent of a night of spicy Mexican or Indian food... but wait! Next up was the Bloody Mary made with the Reaper and man! Sign me up. Dad bought a bottle for $29.95, big brother snatched up the last of the 1oz bottles for $1.95 to bring back west and I scooped up a couple tees for $5.00 each. What a steal and what a great family. Business has been around almost 2 years and during the height of the pandemic, they moved into the hand sanitizer business; shipping a ton to our women and men overseas/middle east. This distillery is breaking ground and needs to be in EVERY liquor store, and soon! It looks like a ranch style home on the outside, and inside, it has a very big open floor plan. There is a bridal suite and a grooms suite as well. They have a full kitchen with an extra room connected that is filled with all types of decorations that you are allowed to use for your wedding or any event. They have an outside gazebo with an outside bar and firepit. They have plenty of photo op options with beautiful decor. We enjoyed the venue for our wedding (May 2023), and everything turned out beautiful. Kim & Chris definitely work with you on everything and anything to help make your day and the days leading to it run smoothly and easily. Communication was always great, and if I needed something quickly, they would accommodate me swiftly. Such a beautiful venue and exactly what we envisioned for our big day. They were the only venue i came across that you could use whichever catering, wedding planner, etc. you wanted too. Ynlike other venues where you had to choose from on of their options. It's also kinda nice for other reasons like if it is busy you don't have to wait for someone to serve you and if you hate talking to people you don't have to keep asking them for your next round. I highly recommend grabbing some food next door at Patty and the Dogs and bring it over here to eat while enjoying a drink.

This was my favorite Mexican restaurant and I drive 30 minutes to get food from there…read more Unfortunately, the last few times some of my food was missing when I do takeout. Today, all of the flour tortillas for each of the three meals was missing. The guacamole was missing on two of the side salads and sour cream was missing on the third. They pack the bag so tight and tie it up so checking it in the parking lot makes a mess. Someone is not checking the orders before they leave because this is happening way too often. I can no longer give them a higher rating because they're consistently doing worse.

My favorite was the asada and least was chorizo. They all came with salsa and the green was by far my favorite, it had a good kick to it. The flavors of all the meats were good, however the chorizo had a bit of a sweet taste that I did not like. I wish I could follow them around to try everything, but I'll take what I can get.
