Bad service. Wrote them an email at least 3 weeks in advance of my desired excursion date and never received anything back. My email to them was detailed too! I finally was urged to call them as vacation was coming up quickly - they answered and told me that horseback riding on the beach was no longer a thing in Florida however, there website was still up and running and so was their "hold" recording. I was pissed as we had to find a last minute excursion which doesn't even come close to how much we love horseback riding. I do not suggest going through such an unprofessional company again. This. Was. Awesome!! We booked a beach horseback riding and swimming excursion in advance on their website. When it came time to leave we just entered the vague location in our GPS - "north skyway I-295" - but when we got close we realized exactly where to go because we could see the horses tied up. Leah was our guide and some dummies didn't show up for their booking so it was just her, me, and my husband; no complaints here! We went so far out into the water and the horses we had (Ace and Thor) were super duper well behaved and calm and great. We walked on the sandbars and the horses also swam a bit. It was really damn cool. Leah took pictures for us and I was able to do the same since I came prepared with my waterproof case. Apparently our horses used to be plow horses in Amish country in PA, which is where I grew up! I wish all horsies could go from being work horses to water horses, haha. Really, this was a great time. Respect the reservations and be on time! And don't forget to bring cash for a tip. I totally forgot about that and wish I could have given Leah more than we did. A+, 5 stars. read more

What a fantastic experience!!!! My friend and I just had our ride Monday, 5/22/18. Although it had been consistently raining for days before, the skies opened up for this magical experience ... oh, and it is magical. The booking process was super simple and we did it online within minutes. We got our confirmation e-mail immediately and also a reminder a couple of days before the ride. Both e-mails told us where to go and how to get there. However, if you just type into Google Maps "Cypress Breeze BEACH Horseback Rides" you can find it just as easily than typing coordinates. When it was time for our ride, we did drive around looking for the horses but that was no big whoop. I'm thinking they look at the best place to step off and set up there. (It really is easy to find ... they will be on either side 275 on the access road.) After parking, we were greeted by Monika, who turned out to be our tour leader. She explained to us about the process, let us know that she would be taking photos and introduced us to our gorgeous horses. The horses were super sweet and gentle. They also looked like they were well taken care of, which as an animal lover, I truly appreciated. After everyone was mounted, we eased into the water and off we went! Much of the ride is on a sandbar where you can see clearly into the water. The horses go deeper and even swim a bit. (If you hear them sounding like they are humming/grunting, they are just keeping the water out of their noses.) Monika was in control the whole time it was an all around lovely, peaceful experience. Monika also took some awesome photos of us and e-mailed them later that day. Like a dum-dum, I didn't have cash to tip her but she deserved it! Their point of contact- Monika Brueshel They are cheap and said they will refund my money, it's been over a month and i have not received it yet. I was visiting from Wisconsin with my husband for our anniversary, so I booked a riding with them on 1/31/19. They text me on 1/30 that it was too cold for the horses, so asked if we can reschedule to 2/1. We already had plans made in Tampa and Clearwater on 2/1 and since they don't refund they would be flexible with our schedule. We made our plans work to meet them at 11am on 2/1. I text them to confirm the change. They did not text back. It is 10:30am on 2/1, my husband and I are at the location and they are nowhere in sight. They text me at 10:45am that they just saw the confirmed text and will refund me because they will not be showing up!! I was so mad. They wasted my time and money during my vacation in FL. They are at fault and will not refund me! They are bad at communicating - they do not answer phone calls, text, emails. I've been emailing and texting them since 2/1 and I have not received a full refund of $318.00, that's a lot of money! I asked if they can show me a statement that a refund was made to my account, they are still not responding. I have nothing pending or refunded from their business in my bank account. This experience was the highlight of my Tampa beach trip! My sister and I LOVED riding in the water on the beautiful horses, Charlie and Ace. Our guide, Leah, was very patient with us before our ride since we got caught in traffic. When we got there, the horses were all ready to go, and we could lock our bags away safely in her truck (and her assistants were with the truck and trailer the whole time). The beach was a gorgeous venue! Throughout the ride, Leah was extremely helpful to my sister who wasn't an experienced rider. She answered all of our many questions and made sure to point out sea life swimming by us! She took amazing pictures on her personal phone since we couldn't bring ours. I highly recommend booking this adventure! Although pricey, it was extremely worth it! We could not stop smiling. The horses love swimming and know exactly where to go and what to do, so all you have to do it sit back and enjoy the ride! read more

Went on this tour back in April when my cousin came down from Ohio for a visit. The experience was awesome! It was a little chilly that day but the water was surprisingly warm and felt amazing!! The horses were beautiful and very well behaved. Leah took pictures while we rode and when we took breaks for the horses. She was very knowledgeable about the area and was a pleasure to talk to. There was no extra charge for the photos and she e-mailed them to us later that day. I highly recommend this experience. You won't be disappointed :) read more

WARNING!!!! Do not book with this company! The horses are not safe. Horses were uncontrollable and threw all 3 kids (teenagers) off sustaining injuries. The owner couldn't control her own horse much less help our kids. There was no rescue plan, a side comment from another employee was "They will have a cold swim back". My husband had to pay someone to retrieve our kids that were stranded in the ocean. No Refund like we were promised. Folks don't go to these folks, to ride there horses! They are rude and unreasonable. We booked a reservation for two, at a high cost of 318.00 for one hour. My partner got ill and we wanted to reschedule for the following week. The owner was very uncompassionate and rude, He refused to have us reschedule and wouldn't refund our money. We called him numerous times to see if he would reconsider since my partner was a senior of 83 years old. He was cold and rude and didn't comply to our request, He even blocked our calls. We felt pressured to attend so we wouldn't loose our money. When we arrived there, we were disappointed on the conditions of there horses. There were dirty and there hair was matted, they were skinny and looked malnutrist! I was misinformed, THE ADVERTISEMENT SAYS BEACH RIDING, THAT WAS NOT A BEACH, IT WAS A BAY. They were late to start, so we DID NOT receive our full hour that we paid for. They also promised us photo's on the horse in the water, they took the worst photo's , a child could have done a better job. We also noticed when we arrived back the horses was not feed, nor given any water to drink, but they were shoved back into the truck, sad they looked hungry and thirsty from the salt water from the bay... I noticed next to our truck was another company that offered horse back riding. There horses was beautiful they were clean , there hair was well groomed and they did not look skinny . I went over to talk to the lady about there horses, after every walk on the bay they feed there horses and give them water. They' re even 15.00 cheaper, there also polite and courteous . I wish i would have gone to C ponies horse6 i will book a reservation w/this company which there number is 941-773-5196 any time in the future. I was a last minute reservation. They said that I should cancel and then told me to come and they were not clear with their instructions regarding where it was so I drove to the location on google map. When I got there they made me drive half an hour to the beach location and when I got there they told me to drive to a different location and now they would not refund me because it was on the email. Why did they make me drive hours to the location in the first place? Horrible customer services and they should not have taken me in in the first place and they should not have told me I could join them if I could not. But they made me drive more than an hour going back and forth simply because they did not want to refund the money. I would have been happier if I didn't have to drive an hour and just lost the money. But no they told me to come to the other location and told me I was an hour late when I got there. And hung up the phone when I called. From the way they said they cannot refund me they've done this many times. Not worth it. The owner led me on until the last possible moment n then said young lady I'm gonna hang up and did just that. read more

I am so bummed! We were super excited about going riding. I honestly would give this a 0 if I could. We came to Florida for just a day and half. My husband surprised me for our Anniversary and reserved a ride. We had paid, and the morning of our ride we got a reminder email even. We were waiting at the shore for awhile and finally decided to call them. The man we talk with said he couldn't get ahold of the lady that would be taking us. They said it was too cold to take the horses out and that they would have to cancel, after we had already been waiting there for awhile, and we only have today to do anything fun. We were super bummed but understood. We ended up calling back to see when we could get our money refunded and they weren't sure. They go through some agency and didn't know when we could get our money back. So we we now spending our anniversary trying to figure out what to do instead of doing the one thing that would've really made our trip one to remember. They should have on their web site information on if it's a certain temperature they don't take their horses out so that people don't book and then get canceled on. It would've even been nice to get a phone call from someone and have them inform us instead of us just showing up and having to follow up with them. read more
