In my case there were two furkids that needed varying care. Why I would return to Freya +'s: + Responsive. I needed day care services and even evening services while I had to attend an all day conference and participate in an evening event for a few days. Freya answered my calls and texts before the care, during the care, and after the care. + Timely. Always showed up on time when I had to rush off to an event + Caring. I judge how my two dogs react when she returned the following day. Dogs do not lie and they were happy to see her return. + Helpful. Often I had to rush in and out of my lodge while I had to attend an event and Freya made sure she could help me exit as smoothly as possible and minimize my dogs' separation anxiety + Senior care experience. I see that Freya was able to care for my senior dog who had more issues than the younger sibling. + Great feedback. She shared photos of my girls to just show me how they were doing that day while I had to leave them under her care. She was abused and then dumped at a shelter where she stayed for about a year before we got her and she's okay around dogs but is shy with people. We wanted an afternoon at the Aquarium--and Melissa's reviews were great, so we reserved time with her. She arranged her schedule to accommodate us and even made time the afternoon before to come by and take our girl for a walk, load her in her car for a short drive and a walk away from us, sent photos, and returned her. When Melissa came to pick up our girl, Abby's tail wagged so fast and her body wiggled. She gave Melissa a hug that she usually reserved for us! While we were at the Aquarium, we got lots of happy, relaxed dog photos and updated. I sent a message to 2 Paws Up via Yelp to see if she was available to pet-sit for an upcoming trip, and Liz responded almost immediately. Next, Liz stopped by for a free consultation and to meet me and my cats. Upon meeting her, I knew immediately she was a caring, kind, trustworthy and responsible person who I could trust my precious kitties with! I really loved that during my vacation, Liz sent daily updates including photos of both cats via text message. I decided to have Liz stop by 2 times a day on most days because one of my cats is anxiety prone, and I'm so glad she offers twice daily services. My husband and I were able to really relax and enjoy ourselves because we knew Liz was taking great care of little fur babies. When we arrived home, our cats were totally relaxed and happy. Erin looked after our cat last year over Thanksgiving, and despite it no doubt being a very busy time for her, she was attentive and prompt. She sent us the best pictures of our cat each day, brushed her, cleaned up and made sure food and water were readily available. She came to our apartment everyday for about half an hour and was dedicated to the cat the whole time. It didn't feel like she was rushing, rather that she spent time sitting with our cat and giving her lots of love. Our cat is quite shy, and Erin managed to send us pictures of her looking very relaxed and happy! I think the best thing is that Erin doesn't make you feel silly for sending very long instructions on your cat - she doesn't need much instruction other than where the food etc is because she's so good with animals, but as a very clingy cat mom it's awesome that Erin is so responsive when you send long emails to her!
