When I dropped my small dog off I told the person I just wanted a teddy bear cut. (Basic stomach, nails, face). Not any major length or anything like that. Picked him up 2 hours later and they shaved him... Then had the audacity to tell me he's not much shorter... Called them and was pretty upset. Guy I spoke with said he would refund the money and I wasn't allowed back. Oh no! You mean I can't come back to a groomer that doesn't listen?? I think I'll be okay.. One good sign of a good boarding experience is happy dogs. Yes, they are like all dogs and don't want us to leave and are super excited to be picked up but they're always very happy with no anxiety symptoms after being here. We have left or pups here Several times sometimes for a full week. They come home with a daily report of all their daily activities, mood and eating habits. The grooming is great too. Never a cut, bleeding nail or bad "hair-do". We only have the German shepherds bathed and de-shed but they always get that thick undercoat taken out. And my girl isn't a fan of being brushed so she may not be the easiest to groom. Out old guy Phantom (sheltie) always gets a pretty grooming and is cut correctly for his breed. I brought my dog here for over five years to be groomed and at first they did a great job, but as time progressed they became sloppier about their work. When I questioned why my dog's nails weren't done the last time I brought the dog they dropped me as a client which happened to be several days before Christmas. They gave me the excuse that my dog was not behaving. If they could groom the dog for five years why was it suddenly a problem? I feel it was not and that they simply do not want to do their job. It's also very cold to treat a loyal customer that has spent a lot of money there in that manner and it's no way to run a business. I do not recommend them. read more

My pups have stayed here a couple of times now. They've always left healthy and in good spirits. The staff has been extremely pleasant to work with. They have many different accommodations for the furry folks. They also get social time and walked during their stay. When they are checked out, you get a report card for each one detailing their temperament, energy level, appetite, and a brief summary of the staff's experience with them. The groomers here are the BEST! One of my standard poodles has a brain tumor and has gone blind. Plus she's huge! It must be a tremendous amount of work to shampoo and clip her. Yet they are so caring and gentle with her. Bunny absolutely loves coming here and gets so excited. It's literally the highlight of her week to come and see Chris. Very clean facilities and courteous and friendly staff..you can tell they like working with animals..kennel techs are wonderful! The girls are spoiled from front desk treats when arriving and leaving lol. The front desk staff are very accommodating with my last minute schedule changes from morning daycare to afternoon or all day. With working remote and lots of meetings, it's great to have a place to take the girls that's reliable and accepting of schedule changes, gives me quiet time for work and allows them to get some exercise and socializing in! Front desk is not kind. Called to see if my missing dog was dropped off by chance. In a desperate attempt from a comment that I received saying he was dropped off there. we've gone to this facility since my 7 pound shitzu was a few months old and over the past almost 5 years. We've mostly had good service until now. My husband called to make her monthly appointment which was accepted. The next day we received a message stating the facility would not groom our dog anymore. Lola is very calm and sweet; never biting, barking, showing aggression etc.... Being that we've never received a negative comment on her behavior, we were shocked and assumed surely there must've been a mix up. But sadly, no. When my husband called the next day to inquire, the person managing the grooming, Chris, said that they had in their notes that we were rude. To say we were shocked is an understatement. We really dont have any interaction with the staff normally. We pay our bill and leave. There have only been 2 incidences where we have had any kind of feedback. Once because we left Lola by 8 am and hadn't had a call to pick her up till we called after 1pm. They're reasoning was that they were busier than usual (never mind we had an appointment and she's a very small dog). Another time we mentioned something about her cut not being right. We didnt make a big deal about it -- just that it wasn't right. There was no scene, no yelling, not disparaging remarks either time we were dissatisfied. With the rates they charge, a client should receive what they pay for and be able to say if they are not satisfied-- at least twice in 4.5 years! Chris did not offer any other specifics. I am just really shocked this is the type of attitude and treatment we'd receive after being patrons of this establishment for 4.5 years. If it was a safety issue or a clash where we were never satisfied, I'd understand. But for a service to refuse your business because you complained in the past is truly unprofessional. read more

So I'm having my dog boarded for a trip later at the end of the year, and I've seen all these great reviews and saw the Facebook posts of happy dogs so I was really excited to call this place. I called, and the lady I spoke with over the phone gave me the worst attitude. I was asking for details about prices, rooms, etc. then she proceeds to list off all the room sizes and different kind of rooms and goes "I just need to know what you want" in a really undertone voice. Maybe I'm just taking it wrong, but the way she said it really did not gain my trust and confidence in letting my dog stay with them for more than a week. read more

Extremely clean and climate controlled rooms which are perfect for our overly neurotic dogs. They do book way in advance, so keep that in mind when planning to have your pooches stay here. They do take good care of our pets and have a genuinely good heart. My reason for my three star review is that after a good rain, one of our dogs got extremely muddy. Since we didn't ask for a doggy shampoo beforehand, we got her back, caked in mud. It took three washings to clean her off. That kind of bummed me out. Perhaps a courtesy phone call and I would have given the green light had I known that she was in that condition. Would I come here again? Yes, and I have a few times since. read more

This is a review for grooming only. We decided to try Cypress Falls for grooming, although we were happy with our past groomer, because it was recommended by others in the neighboorhood and is closer to our home. This past weekend we brought our visitor puppy (she lives where I work but can't be there right now because of construction)-she really needed a bath and nails, and I had no teens I could make do it for me (like I do at work). We have definitely found a new groomer. I really liked that they have appointments so that the pup was only there a couple of hours instead of all day. I also really liked that they had a checklist of preferences (no bandana, no stinky perfume, etc.). The place is very clean, the staff friendly, and the prices comparable to others in the area. The staff has gone above and beyond in their service and I cannot recommend this place enough! They offer daycare, boarding and grooming. Daycare is split into groups and is fairly priced! Grooming prices are average also! Great service and fair prices all around which I appreciate. I love supporting cypress falls pet resort and I truly trust the people there with my dog! Love this place! I have moved around a bit and taken my dog, Bane, to multiple kennels, but this is the best one by far! They have loved him since day one and always make him (and me) feel special. He's a pit bull so I do worry sometimes how he will be treated even though he's a big ol softy, but they have always been so sweet and loving toward him. I can tell Bane likes going here too. They also write these adorable report cards for each day he's there and it really warms my heart to know he's getting lots of love while I'm out go town. read more

My parents, my fiancé, and I visited a few different pet resorts this past weekend (May 2016), as we were looking for boarding for our two dogs. Since our pets are basically our children, as many are, we were cautious about where we are going to be leaving them. The first step through the door was unimpressive. The front desk clerks were not welcoming, and were honestly rather rude. However, our tour guide really was great - a rather shy guy.. he was informational and you could tell he did have a passion for animals. The facility smelled strongly of animal urine (maybe some people expect that), but we had just visited Barkway where it was very clean and much nicer. We were shown a play area where the dogs could swim, which was exciting since we have two retrievers. We then learned there was no guarantee that our dogs would get to go swimming, as it just depends on the area that is available when it is their turn to go outside. After the tour, my parents decided to reserve a spot just in case we couldn't find anywhere else. That's when my opinion of the pet resort was solidified - we dealt with a very incompetent and rude woman. I wasn't able to get her name, and hate to identify in her this way - but she had blondish/silver hair and her teeth were a bit messed up. She had quite the attitude, and had just asked for our dog's name. Right after we gave her our dog's name, she said "First name?" - so we repeated our dogs first name. She very rudely replied saying "That's your dogs first name. Your name." The rest of the conversation continued with that same attitude, and when we walked out of the door I looked at my fiancé and he said "I know... you're not leaving our dogs here." He was right. We have used Cypress Falls 2 times for boarding.I have a rescue dog who was abused and chained so she can get startled over certain noises and gets defensive. She needs love,tender care and patience. At Cypress Falls she received that and much more! She enjoys their kennels that have access to the yard. She thrived at this facility and warmed up to the kennel tech (Kenny) which she normally doesn't do! He kept us informed of sammy and how she was doing. They can be pricey, but it is worth it if your fur baby is well taken care of and the place where they stay is spacious! We will be coming back! read more

This review is for grooming only. Recently moved to this area town so we are on a search for new groomer for my 10lb dog. The place is very clean and friendly. I explained what I wanted (leave hair 1/2 inch long all around, trim nails) to the groomer assigned to my appt (I had to wait almost 2 weeks for an appointment so make sure to plan ahead). My dog came back looking nicely groomed (although his hair was probably a tad longer than I would prefer). Overall experience was good. Price seemed on the high side to me. But I had been spoiled by my really cheap groomer (small biz in my old neighborhood). I will continue to try out some other places in order to compare results and prices. read more

Grooming- First of all, it is overpriced. I have 2 large dogs and it cost about $185. Second, they said my normally calm dogs were hard to handle. Because of that, they weren't able to finish the job. No other groomer has ever had a hard time with my dogs. Thirdly, they insulted my breed of dogs. They said the reason they had a hard time with my dogs is because of their breed. That directly contradicts AKC. read more

Love this place for grooming. My dog has boarded here as well and I love it but they are quite expensive for boarding. The groomer I use does a great job with my dog! I don't want to use his name as it is hard enough to get an appointment with him....sorry! They know my dog by name and are always very friendly both on the phone and in person. SO much better than the last place I used which I gave a very negative review for. This is even closer to my house than my last place....and no attitude!!! The only reason I'm giving Cypress 5 Stars is because I can't give them 10! I'm not going to go on and on about every detail. But I will say that I have four dachshunds who are quite literally my children! I suffer from separation anxiety just as much as they do, so you can imagine how stressful traveling and going on vacation can be. Not anymore!!! My babies LOVE staying in a suite together at Cypress Falls. This is the only place they tolerate and even ENJOY boarding. Kobie and I love this place! The place is clean (no bad smells), the boarding rooms are spacious, and they have a huge yard for the dogs to play. They greet Kobie by name when she walks in and when I had to board her, they provided a "journal" that told me how she did. Likewise, when Kobie goes to daycare, they have a blog with pics of her and her friends. The best part of this resort is how professional and caring they were even when things aren't great. When Kobie got injured, Cypress Falls handled it amazingly. They notified me right away, offered to take her to the vet, helped with the bill, and called to make sure Kobie was doing okay. All the small details and individual care makes Cypress Falls a special place and we would highly recommended it to any pet parent. read more

I had a very good experience with this place and I thought the staff was very courteous. They are a bit expensive, and I think they cater more to the crowd where doggie day care is more of a necessity than a luxury. I actually really appreciate the staff and how attentive they are. I have since found overnight care options a little bit closer to me and less expensive. I could tell it was a good place to leave my dog because my dog wasn't whimpering and crying when she saw me. Their last daycare manager did not make a record of him hurting his leg there so she did not know about it, but that's besides the point. The owner was kind and understanding about the whole thing since her dog also had the same injury. My family has been taking our dogs here for years. I recently took my new dog here for the first time and I drove over an hour to bring my dog here because I trust this place. They keep it nice, and it seems to me that they hire people who actually like dogs! Shout out to Lacy, One of the girls who helps take care of the dogs. She was so sweet and took me back and showed me where my dog would be staying and then when I picked him up the next day she told me how he did, his behavior, how much he ate, etc. I trust this place 100% !! I have boarded my 4 yorkies,1 pomeranian and 1 cat all at the same time on numerous occasions at Cypress Falls. They are very professional but at the same time give the utmost care and love to my most precious possessions! The resort is always clean and the people are always very friendly. I would never ever consider leaving them anywhere else. For the lady that wrote the message about this place, I am in shock. All I can say is you should have given them a chance and gotten to know them. Maybe the lady at the front desk was having a bad day or something was going wrong in her life that day.
