I just picked my dogs up from here and I think they had just as awesome of a vacation as we did. I never seen a place that treats the dogs lime they are at summer camp with all the fun things they do and I especially love seeing pictures of my babies every day. this place is a 1000 out of 10. never go anywhere else again. read more

I went in for my AJ to stay while we were on a quick trip out of town. I met David, the new owner! He was so nice and chatted with me about all my questions and told me about some of the changes they were putting in place to make this kennel even better then I remembered. I can tell he truly loves Dogs! The kennels are super clean. Bigger than I remembered! I had been here a few years ago with my boxer and was nervous when I heard they were bought by new people, but all my worries quickly rushed away...this place is a dog's dream! They have made so many improvements to this already cool place. When I picked my 9 month old Frenchie up, they told me he made a new best friend with one of their regulars, Mateo. First, I do appreciate them taking my dog at the last minute. That is where the kudos ends. We had gone to San Antonio for the weekend. When I dropped off my dog, I informed them that I would be picking her up at 8am on Sunday. I was told that would not be a problem and even gave them the food for Saturday as well. Also provided them emergency contact information. Fast forward to Saturday at approx. 430pm. I received a voicemail from them asking if I was picking my dog up today and that they closed at 5pm. I called and informed the person that I had told them I was picking her up at 8am on Sunday and had spoken with one of there reps when I dropped off my dog. She said it was not noted and that it would not be a problem. Sunday morning we went to pick up our dog. We walked inside and went over the bill. The rep then asks if I want to provide emergency contact information for "next time." Informed her that I had provided that information to the rep when I dropped my dog off. She said it did not make it into the system. So, if an emergency were to happen and they were not able to get in contact with me, they would not have been able to contact my emergency contact since they "forgot" to add it into their system. We picked up our dog and asked about the toys we had also provided. The rep said they did not see anything in her kennel and said someone would look. After about 10 minutes someone brings her toys and said they were in the group play area. Informed her that the toys provided were for my dog ONLY! Now, if you are tallying, they "forgot" when we were picking her up. They "forgot" to add the emergency contact and they decided to allow other dogs to play with her toys even though I am the one who bought and paid for them. This company is apparently full of "forgetfulness" and is one I refuse to use. read more

My taco had a great time at Woodlands dog suites while I had to go out of town. They were professional and the site was clean. The prices are fair and I would use this place again. I liked the option to bathe her prior to pick up. Check it out! read more

I wasn't going to write a review, but this has bothered me so much, I felt I should post it. Especially after reading another boarder's comments that he had a similar experience. I boarded my dog here for about two weeks last spring. Pros: Shady outdoor space and wooded atmosphere, although it seems a little run down. The "office" is just a desk in a living room - not really professional, but okay. The kennels are so clean I would not have known dogs were there. I was quoted $35 for the first day and $25 for each following day when I took a tour, and later when I checked-in my dog - both with the same female employee. The rate surprised me as it was different than what was posted on the website but I was happy with this rate, and I assumed I must have misread the website rate. They offer text updates on the dogs with photos. My dog was healthy and well adjusted when I picked him up. Cons: I only received one text in two weeks with a photo of my dog laying in the shade, I texted back for feedback on his behavior and was told he was a popular puppy to play with. Nothing about his health and demeanor. A little disappointing. When I arrived to pick-up my dog and pay I saw the invoice was higher ($35 each day) than the original quote. I inquired why the difference and was told by the gentleman, who I believe was the owner, that the daily fee was $35 with no discount for the following days (said in a rude manner). I paid the rate the invoice (which I had originally planned to pay given the website rate), but let him know I didn't appreciate the difference in rate quotes. He argued with me that the original quote was not correct, and I would not have been told that rate. He then shoved the rate sheet at me for proof, like I was trying to cheat them. No apology for the confusion. I told him I never received a rate sheet and I trusted what the female employee told me. Still no apology. I understand that mistakes are made, but at least acknowledge them and apologize. My lesson learned: don't make assumptions and ask for a rate sheet. The lesson for this facility: train your employees better, get your quotes consistent with invoicing, and improve your communication and customer service skills - especially if you are the owner and want loyal, repeat business. For that reason, and the fact that I wasn't overall impressed with the place anyway, I won't be returning. read more

Extremely poor customer service!!!! The owner quoted us a price of $550 to board our dogs for the week. When we Went to pick them up the same owner told us it was $630!!!When my husband said," you quoted me $550." He acknowledged that but said he made a mistake. My husband was reasonable and said let negotiate it then. He would not!!!! Can u imaging an owner not standing by what he quoted us??? I for sure will never return to this facility. Not impress with the owners, staff or facility. Many great places to choose from and this place is the worst place I've ever experienced in 30 years of boarding my dogs!!!! read more

Very impressed with Woodlands Dog Suites. Lovely facility with each dog having its own house and yard as well as large area for community play time. They took detailed notes on medications and treats. The owners and staff were lovely and very accommodating when we actually showed up a day early. Highly recommend. read more

They need help putting systems in place so that everyone knows what's going on and where things are. I gave them four stars because they help out rescued dogs and they are open 7 days a week. read more

Our puppy has been boarded here on about 4 occasions. The first night there we got a call stating he got hurt and was cut by his eye. When we picked him up we were told he is clumsy which is interesting because this dog has very precise skills in runnning , jumping and knowing exactly what his balance is , seemed to us this was an excuse for poor supervision. We always ask for him to not be in group play yet we have picked him up and he has been up in the day dare area where we have witnessed several dogs in at once and no person in the area to intervene . Our dog goes in happy and seems fine coming out but on this last visit he came home on a Sunday and on Wednesday we had to take him to the vet where he was diagnosed with upper respitory infection, apparently kennel cough , yet he had been fually vaccinated including bordettella. We will be calling the facility . Now we are not sure where we should take him. read more

Just picked my pups up today from their second stay. Very impressed with the facility. It was very clean and maintained. The staff was accommodating to my dogs as they do have some special needs. They had no problem checking on them when I called midway through the stay. The staff is very friendly and treated my pups like their pups. I could not be happier with this place. read more
