Had a pleasant experience when I was in need of a last minute floral bouquet and discovered Cypress Flowers was open. Their doors were open at 9am so when I arrived it was super quiet. The lobby and store front is quite large with a bunch of knick knacks, but the duo behind the counter were super nice. I had explained the occasion of the flowers. They were kind enough to show me the florals they had available and after I selected them they whipped it up into a wonderful display. Their attention to detail was nice as they made it a front facing bouquet since they were going to be displayed in a hotel room. Upon checkout they even created a make shift holder so they would travel easy! The flowers are still in full bloom a few days later and they were a hit with the recipient. I called twice and got no response, so first thing in the morning I called again. It was between them and another business but then a lady picked up, impolite and told me "some flowers might not be available" once I said the arrangement I wanted by name. So I asked what specific flowers wld be unavailable & she seemed irritated and hurriedly asked me what I wanted, so I reframed my ask - asking what WAS available, and she repeated general categories already seen on her site and I said okay & thanked her and that's when she swiftly hung up on me. Unfortunately, I'd already shared their site w my mother the previous day who'd chosen an arrangement from here so I placed my own order elsewhere before calling back to get this: The Premium Exquisite Beauty, which they said they had and for which I paid $110 at pick up that did not look Premium or Exquisite! It didn't even look like the photo - it was a paltry Michaels jar looking arrangement with substitutes I could have amassed myself. It was raining out, and I honestly should have left it there and circled back to It's Just For You Flowers - mine were STUNNING and $30 less! She asked me what kind of flowers my mom liked, and they delivered them no problem that day by noon. They even texted my mom to tell her there were flowers at her front door. I'm always anxious about using business that I don't normally frequent, but breathed a huge sigh of relief when I picked up the flowers. They were GORGEOUS! Took my breath away, and looked even better than the picture on their website. I bought the deluxe version of the Seaside Roses, and, though it was during COVID and orders of certain types of flowers weren't guaranteed, the florist definitely made sure that the substitute flowers were equal or greater than the price I paid. I had ordered an arrangement online for my mother in law's birthday and after they were delivered, I was not happy with the fullness of the arrangement for it was not as pictured on the website. I emailed the florist with the picture from the website and the picture of what was delivered. The next day I received a call from Sam who wanted to discuss my issues. He was not defensive in any way at all, we calmly discussed my issues and at the end of the call he said he would make a new arrangement and send me a picture of it before it was delivered to make sure I was satisfied. The best service I have got in a long time! I ordered flowers for my friend who just had a baby. They weren't able to deliver them because of Covid the hospital turned them away. They called me immediately to let me know and said to just call them back with my friends home adress when she gets released and they would deliver to her home.
