Beware! We purchased a water bed from Amanda. It has been a horrible experience. Starting with leaving the store with nothing more than a hand written receipt for the deposit we paid. Yeah, I know, shame on us! But we relied on her word and trusted her to follow thru on her promises. Since that time communication has been next to impossible. It has been over three months and our problem has yet to be resolved. It looks like I will have to pursue legal action at this point. read more

Amanda is knowledgeable and super helpful, especially if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. They have a lot of options in stock that you can try out, and others that can be ordered - we were able to get a really cool futon with built-in flip-up side tables that is solid wood and feels way more comfortable than anything from Ikea. The delivery/assembly service they use is great too - had everything in our home and assembled within 60 minutes and even showed us step-by-step how to best unfold, then refold the futon. I purchase my WaterBed in May 2020..I was told by Amanda that my frame legs would last for years with no problem..In September 2020 I had to purchase another frame legs from her it broke in half..What a Mess!!Please be aware when you purchase anything from her..I thought I had a Warrenty that would cover but she told me my frame legs was separate..I will not be referring NOBODY to Right Futon..Missleading..I should have purchase a regular mattress for this EXPENSIVE Waterbed I purchase from her..Lesson learn I will not be going back...Poor service Before and After Pictures this is ridiculous read more

Being lied to TWICE in one day is why this store should get less than a star. I called and asked about a purple cover for a full futon, "yes, we have that"...no they didn't. They had blacks, browns, bright red colors...no girl colors as I requested. Then, when I asked if there were "other" places I could get a cover...they woman said there was not other futon store in Houston. I said, "oh come on, really?" To which she said, "well, if you're going to call me a liar"...avoid this place. They have a very limited stock and will say anything to get you to waste your time and are not interested in really helping you. They may be the only futon store in Houston...with that kind client service...hopefully not for much longer. Thanks for nothing and good riddance. read more

We bought a Futon 4 or 5 years ago and the quality has been great! The Futon has moved from Houston, to Atlanta, to Michigan and back to Houston and still looks brand new. The cover is in great shape despite us having two small dogs. We recently went back to them because we wanted a new cover since the Futon is now going in a baby's room. The original cover is still in great condition but we wanted a new color. The owner has been so helpful throughout the process. We weren't sure about a specific pattern and since she had it in stock we were able to take it home and try it. I'm so glad we did, because when we got it home it just didn't work in the room. Now she's let me take home a couple fabric swatches to to choose from so we can order something custom. A+ customer service in my experience! I would highly recommend this store. One note, they were located off I-10 but are now off the west beltway. Google maps is still confused and sends you to the old location despite the address being correct. It's strange. read more

Sometime last week, I went to this establishment with only one type of futon in mind. After walking through the entire store, I was fortunate to be able to see all the different types of futon mattresses and futon frames they had to offer. The lady who assisted my fiance and I was very informative and very patient with us. Prices are reasonable considering these futons seem luxury and durable. My husband and recently moved to the area and had no idea where to start with purchasing furniture for our new home. We decided to take a chance with Right Futon, and I am so glad we did! Shortly after we purchased a futon, mattress, and cover from Right Futon, Amanda, the absolutely sweet and amazing owner, called us to check in on our purchase. She regrettably informed us that during the transaction, a sales person accidentally gave us the wrong mattress. For starters, she did not have to call us and let us know that we were given a much cheaper mattress, as she could have turned around and sold it to someone else without our knowing anything was wrong. We have been to this store twice and Amanda has been wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful, and patient both times. The door was locked when we got there today and apparently she saw the disappointment in my face through the door. Don't let the name of the store fool you. Right Futon carries more than just futons and futon accessories. I purchased a beautiful breakfast table for a very reasonable price from here. Could not be happier!!! While picking up my new table I noticed the vast selection of fabric and inquired about special orders (I need a custom cushion made for a bench/storage unit I have).
