Overall, that was a good experience, but we have noted several things needing repair or replacing. There was a persistent leak at the top of the slide and we were never happy with our stock Norcold absorption refrigerator. It was small, somewhat loud, and didn't keep consistently cold in the refrigerator area - top versus bottom temps were off by 10º sometimes, and once outdoor temps hit the 80s, milk wouldn't keep. So, we drove from Sebring to Bartow and met an incredible team of people at Camping World of Bartow. Preston took time to confirm and bring in a compressor-driven refrigerator from outside storage. Todd did the installation and took care of the leak and several other items for us. (As the service staff said, who else has his degree of know-how? - though not to imply that other techs aren't good at what they do) And Julia was a fantastic service rep. We are incredibly pleased with the new refrigerator, which, after a few adjustments, is doing an amazing job keeping frozen things frozen and refrigerated items cold in the upper 30s range. (We had to reduce the cold setting as it was actually too cold.) I hope management reads this and appreciates that you have many terrific people at your location.

Holy cow there is customer service in the RV world!! Bonnie is awesome! She listened, wrote down our issues, set up a date (a week) for us to drop it off while we went on a cruise, and was able to complete some repairs and order the remainder! Within one visit, we had more focused interaction than eight months of dealing with the other dealer! Thanks to Bonnie and her team for getting our issues sorted out and for fighting with the manufacturer about warranty lag time due to the previous dealer!

They offered me a very fair rental rate and a primo spot I was able to access 24/7....a rarity in many places! I was thinking about possibly doing a consignment deal to try to sell my 2015 Winnebago Era 170 while I was there, so the guys went through my unit thoroughly and gave me an idea of what it was worth. No hassle and they let me think it all over for a couple of weeks. No pressure. I decided against a consignment sale and opted instead to continue to drive it for another year. I'm headed back in a month for my annual trek. I wouldn't consider storing my unit anywhere else. Great guys who make customers feel like family. I bought a 2004 Jayco Greyhawk class C RV from these guys. I did what I thought was a pretty…read morethorough inspection prior to buying it and it was bought "as is" with no expressed warranty. I was happy with the final price and they did a very thorough walk thru with me showing me how everything worked and fixed any of the things I found wrong which was mostly superficial broken things like trim molding, plastic parts, etc... after getting it home I started encountering more issues that my test drive didn't reveal but I don't really think it was intentional on their part. I did the needed repairs and got it ready for a trip to Montana. I bought it during the dry season and about a month after I purchased it, we started getting very heavy rains everyday. About 100 miles into my 6000 mile trip out west while filling up the gas tank I noticed a very small deformation on the front side of the nose cap. There was a stick on reflector where it was protruding and I pealed it back to reveal a quarter size hole in the fiberglass right at the seam. I put a piece of tape on it and kept driving. We made it to GA and the tape had pulled off and the side panel was swollen and pulling back from the corner seam. I bought some incredibly strong "as seen on TV" waterproof sealing tape and taped over the hole and the seam. We did not want to cancel the trip over this but it was extremely nerve wracking because I was afraid that side panel was going to start ripping off. We kept an eye on the tape and added more as needed but the air pressure was causing the swelling and delamination to get worse. By the time I got home it was swollen all the way back to the bunk window. I called a delam repair company and they told me it would probably cost 5-7 grand to fix it! I was completely devastated as I still owe 22 grand on this thing. After further research I figured out that the stick on reflectors were added to cover the hole as they were not on any other Greyhawk I saw for that year. I brought it back to RV World expecting them to tell me to kiss their ass and that it was sold as is. They were very calming and said that they would try and fix it for a lot cheaper than what I was quoted and only charge me what their costs were. They had my RV for a month and when they called me to tell me it was done I was expecting them to say it was thousands of dollars to fix. The water damage got into the overhead bunk and all behind the panel. They had to replace a lot more than we originally thought but they fixed it right. They replaced the bunk, had to pull the bunk window and replace the panel behind it. It was a major repair and they did a great job! I couldn't be happier and they didn't try and rip me off or even charge me what the repair was worth. They took great care of me even though they had zero obligation or anything to gain.

We live in Winter Haven, 20 miles away, and I had just received my Blue Ox tow bar, baseplate for our Smart Car, electrical wiring, cordage, and all other things needed from Amazon.com to enable us to tow our 2011 Smart Car behind our 27' 1995 Fleetwood Tioga Montara Class C motorhome. James, our Service Writer, had told me by phone that this job would take 6 hours, and that Brian, their master mechanic, had experience installing these setups on Smart Cars. I was a bit reluctant to entrust my beautiful little car and old RV to a place I had read a couple of poor reviews about, but it was the only authorized Blue Ox installer anywhere near to us. From the moment we arrived, my wife and I were treated with courtesy and respect. Since both of our only vehicles were being worked on, they knew we would be waiting. Their waiting lounge area made it very comfortable, with big screen tv and free coffees and water. This courtesy extended for their entire work day, and the job took a total of 9 hours. The extra time involved was due to me throwing some extras at them, like rewiring my RV hitch (not in the original quote). The Smart Car is without a doubt the most difficult vehicle to mount a baseplate to. Brian had many bruises on him after he was done, and I knew what he had gone through. Bottom line, after 9 hours, the job was completed....with perfection! Way beyond my expectations. And with all the extra work involved with my added requests, James and Brian stood by their original phone quote of 6 hours of work! I probably might have been pleased to pay more, with the excellent quality job they did; but they stood by their quote. To me, this is the sign of a quality organization. And they never tried to sell us a new RV!! (Good thing, because I couldn't get my wife out of a couple of the new ones!!). Thanks again to RV World. You have reinstalled my confidence and trust in a repair facility!!

As I was casually walking around a Travelcamp employee (April O'Leary) walk by and asked if I needed any help and explained why the sales reps were tied up at the moment, so she put off what had brought her outside and kindly gave me a tour of what they had that might fit what I wanted. The last unit she pointed out was the 320, the design of the 320 doesn't leave much to preview wiyh the slides but I could tell it had the potential of what I wanted. We discussed getting the 3 slides out while I went to eat lunch, when I came back April met me at the front door and we went and toured the 320; it was everything I was looking for. After that I made several follow on visits to the dealership to walk through the unit again and be sure. On the last day someone had decided to buy that unit which worked out well because I mentioned the 320 the Ocala dealership had which had a couple of features the one I had been looking at didn't and April assured me that she could get that one from Ocala to Melbourne for me; win win for me. After giving Travelcamp a deposit they facilitated the transfer of the 320 to Melbourne at which April and I did a walk-through of the unit, she took notes of the very short list of things that needed to be resolved before I would close on the unit. The closing day, I met April & Jerry at the dealership to do the final walk-through and close on the unit. I could've save a small chunk of money by traveling a short distance and picked the 320 from another dealership, but the interactions with April throughout the entire process from walking onto the lot through the sale, April's punctuality and wiliness to listen instead of just selling made me a just want to buy the 320 from her at that dealership. If you're ever in the market and near Melbourne, stop in and see April, she is as genuine as they come, listens to what you have to say and doesn't know how to put pressure on you. I hope that I will need to buy another camper soon and she will still be!

Konnor in service let us bring it in the same day. He promptly worked with our warranty company to get our claim approved. He recommended the Furrion AC over our Coleman which is much quieter wow so glad we did awesome A/C. My wife saw two recliner chairs and Courtney in parts explained how much they were discounted. Wow what a deal! We asked Konnor what would cost to install very inexpensive at $204. He also said they could install them while they were working on the A/C. Courtney quickly measured and was awesome assisting with what we needed a power cord. The RV tech was awesome I believe his name was Cory he also fixed our entry door lock that was a problem. What an awesome dealership thank Konnor, Courtney and Cory.

Buyer Beware: My Experience with Giant RV…read more If you're considering buying an RV from Giant RV, read everything before signing and ask detailed questions about any deposit. In my experience, I was not clearly informed that I was signing paperwork making my $2,000 deposit non-refundable. I also understood that the money was not being applied toward the down payment. When I decided not to move forward with the purchase, I requested my deposit back, but I was told it could not be refunded because "their hands were tied." I take responsibility for signing the paperwork, but I also believe important financial terms--especially a non-refundable $2,000 deposit--should be clearly explained before asking a customer to sign. My advice is to read every document carefully, ask direct questions about whether any deposit is refundable, and don't sign until you're completely comfortable with the terms. I hope sharing my experience helps someone else avoid an expensive surprise.
