He asked my husband to show him the furnace, my husband walked away for about 10 minutes, when the technician came back upstairs he stated to me that the Motherboard needed to be replaced, My furnance is only 5 years old and there's no way the Motherboard should be malfunctioning. When I begin to question why the Motherboard went out in a year, the technician did not have an answer he stated I did not have to pay, My neighbor Ms. Tolbert had the same problem and she also used the Lyons who told her the Motherboard was out on her furnance also. This company technicians come out to look at your furnance and it always needs a major repair. Lyons Technicians comes out and actually damage the item you called them to repair so they can charge you more. I have a Lennox furnace that's only 5 years old. Just because I don't live in the hood don't mean I want to pay more for my services.

We had a rotten egg smell in our water. We called Action Plumbing to come out and change the anode…read morerod. They came out replaced the anode rod and charged us $200. Rotten egg smell came back after two weeks. We called them back out. The guy came for 15mins told me to disinfect our water heater and change the whole house filter. Charged us $70. We went to take the anode rod out to disinfect the water heater like the guy suggested and then realized when they replaced our anode rod they stripped the bolt so we cannot get it out. We also found a large dent on top of our water heater as well from when they came out the first time. Called them and ask for them to come out and take anode rod out so we could disinfect our water heater like they suggested. They said to do that it would be $80 an hour even though their technician is the one who installed it incorrectly and striped the bolt so we can't get it. I will not be charged for them to come out to correct their mistake. I will be calling another service to our house to help us get the anode rod out. Outrageous. Do not recommend.

Out of 6 quotes taken to replace our furnace, 4 of the companies did mention that the mandatory Building permit would be drawn. Fralick, is one of two that had not, nor did he intend to; I discovered this the morning of the installation. When the installation had been completed the unit would not produce hot air; after running for two hours, it could only warm the house to 68 degrees. Outside temp was 20 degrees that day. I called to make Him aware, have it looked at and corrected. Hours later he showed up and made a few changes to the settings on the unit and said give it some time to correct itself. My Wife and I expressed our dissatisfaction with the fact that we still have no heat, His responses were disgusting! His first reply, "This is new technology, and you may have to get use to how it works". C'mon it is a furnace; it is supposed to heat the home! Second reply, "70 degrees is not so bad". Then thirdly, to add insult to injury he say's" This is still better than the kerosene heaters that you were using". All the time being too full of pride to admit that there was a problem; one that he could not identify. He was done, He left! The next morning my Wife had me call Bob Cookingham, the representative from Blessing Heating and Cooling. He had been out and had given us a quote; this was my wife's' first choice. He took the call and said he'd be at the house in 30 minutes. He was at our door within 30 minutes and after 10 minutes He knew something was not right. It took another 20 minutes for Bob to identify that the AC was running simultaneously with the heating unit; cooling the air down to 68 degrees. He isolated the trouble to the thermostat which was likely damaged by the previous failed installation. Bob was a total class act; He never spoke badly about Fralick and Sons. He even complimented their work. Bob refused any compensation for His efforts, He recommended that we not mention His visit to Fralick and Sons nor that He isolated the problem, but only point them in the right direction. After telling Bob what was said by Dorian (the owner of Fralick and Sons), the news that someone else identified the problem that he failed to, would not likely be received well. The next evening without getting a follow-up call from Dorian or anyone from Fralick and Sons to check on how we were doing, I texted Dorian, and informed Him "It appears that the AC was running as well as the furnace. I turned off the breaker to the AC unit and now we are getting good heat". The installer came out and began to trouble shoot. He pinned it down to the thermostat. He was apologetic and said, "I am sorry, that's something I should have caught". Hearing the installer (Patrick), accept accountability made all the difference in the world! Thank you, Patrick. Dorian did show up. He seemed a bit giddy. Probably because they didn't cause the problem and got to make a few bucks on the sale of a thermostat. Dorian did say that He never heard the AC running when He was here the night before and missed the issue. And as you can see from His response above, that He had no part in "our issues". With sarcasm I say, Thank you for your "absolute Professionalism" Dorian!

Let's start by saying that Davison Heating and Cooling is a first class service business. Very professional in approach and in their work. The technician called well ahead of arrival, did the job and was out the door. I'm very pleased. Let's also commend them for commitment to being environmentally conscious. DHC is entirely paperless; likely saving a lot of trees and waste over time. Would I call them again? We didn't care about our WORKING air conditioner. We wanted heat. So we declined the service. Called Bud's Heating & Cooling in Lapeer. They sent out a tech who identified the problem AND HAD THE PART ON HIS TRUCK and got it running in 20 minutes. Also the part he put on was a generic part. Two days later the tech ordered the correct part and brought it out and switched it at no additional costs. Now that's service. After reading the other one star reviews this sounds like this dishonest company does this predatory sales pressures all the time! Use Buds Heating & Cooling in Lapeer. Not these crooks.
