He had mentioned that the age of the Furnace was an issue potentially due to the increased chances of a failed heat exchanger. This is the number one cause of Carmen exit poisoning in homes. I had 3 contractors come out and evaluate my air conditioner on one of the hottest weeks we had here recently, I will not mention the other contractors but I do have to tell you I was very disappointed in the up front charge to diagnose the problem with our unit, not only diagnostic charge but travel charge, now I get gas prices are high but this contractor is only 6 minutes up the road and they still added $50 to the charge, they left without fixing the problem and were pushing us to buy a new unit. The young man that came to our house from Allyson at no charge, diagnosed the problem and fixed it that same day for a lot less than the others wanted, very professional and easy to talk to, I just have to mention that I also bought a new thermostat from him that he installed that day and came away costing me less than what the others were trying to charge me just to replace the motor on the unit. I will be recommending Allyson to everyone I know in the future, you would be wise to call them before you waste your money with the others in our area (Burton, Mi.).

Also said I needed a new log set and nothing was to code (My house was built in 98) Well come to find out after I reached someone else for a second opinion my remote setting needed to be turned off (because I was never given a remote) and then BAM we had fire. So I've been working on installing a new furnace and a brand new first time for the home central air system with my friend. I needed some new duct pieces for the sizing change. I called them this morning and went up with my bad drawings. Doug talked me through my drawing as he created one the shop guys could read and execute. Within 5 minutes he knew what I needed and gave me a quote. I was expecting to have them on Monday as this was Friday. They called me after I left and they said it may be same day. They had it done by 2pm!! And it was exactly right. I left and didn't realize until 3:30pm I didn't have the connecting pieces I needed and wanted to get it installed this weekend. I called back and went up there. Met a shop worker Jason. So friendly and knew exactly what I needed. Told me they were sitting out when I picked up but I didn't get them. Gave them to me and smiled as I left. They didn't charge me extra for them either even though they weren't in my drawing. In my opinion that's how you treat a customer. I may only have been $100 or less in profit for them but in one day they built a customer for life. And one that will recommend them to all my friends and family in the area.
