Terrible FFL. They opted into being a vendor for a direct to consumer industry program, only to reject a legal firearm due to having a pistol brace like it's still 2024. Would not help in any way and sent the firearm back across the country rather than forward to another legitimate FFL. They were also jerks on the phone. Do not purchase any Montana Silversmith's jewelry from D&B. They carry outdated stock. Montana Silversmith's will not replace or repair outdated stock. We learned this the hard way, when we attempted to send some earrings in for repair, that we purchased in 2022. Montana Silversmiths told us they stopped production of the earrings five years earlier, in 2017 and thus, had no parts to repair them and no stock to replace them. Lastly, Montana Silversmiths jewelry is cheap silver plated jewelry, made in Taiwan. read more

The employees in the tool section go out of there way to help, explain everything and have looked at inventories at other stores when I need specific items at a time when it is hard to find a lot of stuff. The fact I can pick up grill pellets, tools and a bunch of other stuff is also very convenient. read more

The go to place for me when we need something to wear for work or just out. The supplies they have are good for the animals from Feed to supplies. The tools assortment is good and Dewalt name is big there. As for the BBQ needs, sold! Overall customer service is great there and they are always willing to help and give me some good recommendations even if I am not buying something but just researching it out. I really like D&B Supply much more than the large box stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. They seem to have things i cannot find at the larger stores. For example I've been looking for a pair of small garden snips and have only found them here at D&B. They have a really large selection of power tools also. This store is horrible. They will have items price tagged but they never go by that price. And they say that they won't honor it even though that's what I'm the freaking item. I tried to Buy a hat it has a clearance tag on it and the lady told me "nope. No way. That's way to cheap for this hat." Uhhhhhh ok then why did you price tag it for that!! That's just an example of one time they did this. They have done it to me several Times. I will no longer shop here. Ever. read more

Bought Cinch brand Jean's, have several pair purchased over time. Most recent pair fell apart in first wash, holes, shredded fabric, not normal. D and b refused to take them back ($80 jeans) OR EXCHANGE but did offer a $25 dollar store gift card. They made a point that the Jean's were purchased in March.....with stay at home order in place until now, it makes sense they are two months old... but never worn, washed once. read more

I have an older commercial walk-behind mower that got difficult to start and rough running. I took it first to a local factory service center. They charged me $$ for a diagnosis and told me it was old and had low compression. I needed a new engine. I took it to D&B and they said it would be three weeks before they could get to it because they had many customers ahead of me. It was winter so I left it. When I picked it up they had done a tune-up, blade sharpening (two-blades) and said it was just a dirty carb. They also replaced the filters and spark plug. The cost was very reasonable. This weekend was the reveal to see how it would run. It started on the third pull and ran better than it has in years. I will be back for regular end of season servicing. One thing I will say is that I have gone to this farm outlet for 34+ years. Recently a disabled lady on a very limited income, from Disability, had asked for a bit of help with her wood burning stove, the schematic/electrical needed help. The response was awful, hurtful and saddening. Responses as follows. Some are almost duplicates from several people talked to from stove salesman, to technicians at two stores. [this is the only heat for this person] Meridan/Caldwell 1. "sure we can help with that problem" 2. "just call our technicians, they will be glad to help." 3. "My SUPERVISOR said we cannot help you with your stove, as it is to old, and we cannot get parts for it" [I am confused, just how do I get parts within 2 days, and motors are made locally?] 4. "The stove Is just to old. Why don't you just buy a new one? We have lots for sale" 5. "we don't work on old stoves" "we cannot get parts for older stoves" [they sell a similar model as to my own, only newer, but same ideas, as my stove is an original, don't have $5,000] 6. "Good luck in finding someone" [I have looked all over, but story is even worse, so I turned to a company I trusted] 7. "The store will not allow us to work on a stove that the store did not sell." 8. "so what's your problem? Your stove doesn't work? " "sorry, but we cannot get parts", "we have a contract with our parts supplier" [I did explain what was wrong. Electrical schematics does not seem in order, auger does not rotate intermittently, it rotates constantly] "what do you mean intermittently?"[again I explained]. 9."I asked my supervisor if I could work on your stove, he said "No", because we cannot warranty the work, and we cannot get parts" "Good luck" Person then hung up on me. read more

Employees are always happy to help and seem to give good advice when I'm not sure exactly what I need, like which type of oil to buy for my mowers, for example. They also were happy to help me with a return when I bought a spool of trimmer string which had been spooled wrong, which rendered it unusable. The exchange was quick and relatively easy, though they did ask for personal information with the return, such as phone number and home address, the latter of which I politely refused and they didn't mind. I guess this helps them track who is making returns, but I still find it a little gross when stores ask for this kind of information. -1* Will definitely buy my supplies here for my mowing company whenever I can. read more

For decades we have been excellent customers of D&B supply and have poured a lot of money into this local business.I returned a shirt at the Meridian D&B supply that I had purchased this year for my husband but it was the wrong size and wanted to exchange it.they did not have this particular shirt in their System and after about 20 minutes they determined they would give me a meager $10 back for a shirt I paid much more for.I know I bought it on sale but I did not get a Roper western shirt for such a cheap price. It was very frustrating and a demonstration of poor customer service , especially for a loyal long time customer.I'll take my business down the road. The irony is that this young man would have made up for the little bit of extra cash he should have given me for the shirt since I was going to buy a case of dog food , a brand new shirts that would've cost much more and a breast strap for my horse.someone else will get that business. read more

I went into D&B Supply to look for a wrench to get my old license plates off my car. The woman at the counter went out of her way to find and let me borrow two screwdrivers and a wrench, and then another man who works at the store came out to help me with it! Super nice friendly store. read more

This place is just fun to shop in. It brings back memories of the local feed stores and hardware stores of the "good old days". My only complaint today was that some of the plants in the nursery were somewhat distressed, but I bought some anyway. Plus the live chickens, turkeys, etc. are cool. read more

I've had good experiences shopping at D&B and then I found out they have a small engine repair shop in the back (yes you take your lawn mower/equipment right through the front door) and these guys are knowledgeable and able diagnose quickly, plus their shop rate is not overpriced! read more
