I feel like it's weird for me to be reviewing a Lowe's, but I guess it's pretty normal. Sorry...thinking out loud. Anyway, I love this Lowe's. Is it weird to love a specific Lowe's? Whatever...continuing on, there are three things I love about this Lowe's. First, they are typically always pretty organized. They keep everything tidy and well-stocked and I can usually always find what I'm looking for. There have been a few times when I've seen a great deal on something random online and when I go in and ask someone where I can find it, they will check the item, see it's in stock, but then can't find it at all. That's frustrating, but like most places, there are always stock issues. Now that brings me to the second thing I love, which is arguably the most important. The people who work there. For the most part, the employees are awesome and incredibly helpful. I'll call out one specific worker named Juan. Juan is the best. He has helped me a few times when I have questions or am looking for something and has gone super out of his way to help. Just the other day, I was looking for an item that showed was in stock, and he literally walked across the entire store with me to look for it, couldn't find it, went to the back to search for it, and unfortunately still couldn't find it, but was very apologetic about it and just such a nice dude. Also, I wish I could remember her name, but a woman working at the customer service/returns desk is awesome. Just a great staff. Third, they occasionally have really good deals on things. I'm sure this is the same for most Lowe's and all stores in general, but they randomly have super good clearance deals on things and I love it! I called about a miter saw that was 50% off and they said they had 2 in stock and then held one for me at the desk. I now have a miter saw. Awesome. A great Lowe's with great people! read more

Rod from Plumbing was incredible--he went above and beyond to help us figure out how to insulate our water filter and make it work in our rental without changing any of the current plumbing. He even made sure we had all the right parts! We had tried other stores taken the wrong parts back and were feeling defeated. We are so thankful Rod to the time to help us find a solution! read more

Ordered a BBQ grill online. Instead of paying the $70 shipping charge, we opted to pick it up at a store that was 15 miles away. We ordered it on a Tuesday, website said 6 were available and that it would be ready on Wednesday. We arrived on THURSDAY for pick up..... and no product was available. Associate scrambled to find where it was, and then offered a meager "sorry, things happen" and told us they could cancel the order and suggested that we drive another 20 miles to an alternate store to pick it up the product, which may or may not be there. So we ordered it on Amazon and it will arrive tomorrow - with FREE SHIPPING. We're done with Lowes. read more

This specific Lowe's (Overland) has been amazing to us. We have been remodeling a large room in our house and every time we've come in, every Lowe's employee notices what we're doing and always have a suggestion for better prices, equipment, and other things. The employees are always so helpful and work with us until we are satisfied. Just today, we were losing up drywall when an employee informs us of some clearance sheets that saved us almost $300. read more

I came to the store because the Lowe's near me didn't have as good of a plant selection. They have all of their clearance plants miss Marked and Emily, a register attendant, with her gay, rainbow dreadlocks, rang me up. I've never had someone roll their eyes at me as many times as she did because I questioned why they were on the clearance rack. If you want extremely rude service, go through Emily's line. Their policy for a different company to provide delivery is a nightmare. I was promised delivery of concrete blocks to my job site by Monday, the truck driver called and said it was so dark, could he deliver the next day. I said ok because I thought I was talking to the Lowe's store truck driver, but it was a third party. The next day, no blocks, so I called Lowe's, they said it had been delivered. when they realized it had not, they rescheduled. The new delivery date was supposed to be Wednesday, and the company delivering the building, was going to charge me $100 an hour for every hour we waited on block. I struggled to get my blocks one load at a time that Wednesday, so not to get charged for wait time. After the 2 trips I had to make, we unloaded the blocks and were 20 short. I made the 3rd trip to Lowe's for my missing blocks, got the run around, but finally got my blocks. Needless to say, I will NEVER use Lowe's in Meridian, MS for anything. unsatisfied customer. read more

Recently moved and found that the Meridian Lowes was an easier drive. Two separate times my, "active duty" husband came home from the store and shared his unfortunate experiences. All of this Covid crap is no excuse to give such HORRIBLE customer service and be outright rude! Shame on you Lowes in Meridian! We still shop at Lowes, we go there more than the grocery store, but now we will take the long way, through the traffic and shop the Nampa store. Had a great experience and wanted to share. I brought my service dog with me to the store and was looking for a particular item when I was approached by Steven Castillo, an associate who offered to assist me. I am a frequent visitor to Lowe's, and never have I had this level of customer service. Steven seemed genuinely interested in making me and my service dog feel welcome, answer any of my questions, and offered his card and asked me to contact him if I ever needed anything. I also found out that Steven served in the Army for over 20 years, and that he had a lot of dog training experience. Me being a vet myself, made me so happy that Lowe's is so military/veteran friendly. I have never felt so welcomed to any store. read more

My wife and I came in here today to shop for appliances for our new house. Cameron assisted us. He was great. We needed a washer and dryer set as well as a refrigerator and stand up freezer. He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. It was very clear that he wasn't trying to sell us the highest price items but instead was helping us decide which appliances suited our needs the best. There was no pressure it was just a laid conversion on what best suited our needs. We were a little early on our purchase but will be back when its time to buy. read more

Mixed review. Paint department Is usually staffed and you get help fast. Everything else... not so much It was So bad I found myself wondering is I was invisible as employees walked right by me when I was wandering looking for help. I ended up yelling down an isle after an employee walked right by me. I still didn't get the help I needed and I have limited ability to walk so I had to leave before it got bad. Bought a washer and it didn't work. I took it back and was told that it is not returnable after 48 hours. I asked to speak to the manager. Those were my only words except some friendly chatter to another employee while the woman went to get the manager. I got David the assistant manager who came up to me very aggressive and angry like he couldn't believe a customer was bothering him . He said it's not his problem because I waited 45 days to return it which was false. It was within 2 weeks of the original sale date. This was the soonest I was able to bring it back to the store. I asked if they stand behind what they sell. He didn't want to answer and instead started attacking my character. He said he didn't like that I swore to the employees and that I was aggressive to them. I said go look at your video tape because you just completely made that up. Yes I was upset at the way he was talking down to me and that they refused to except back the broken washer they sold me, but I never swore or raised my voice. I pressed on if they stood behind what they sold until he finally said no we don't stand behind what we sell. It's bad enough that they refused to simply exchange the equipment but for David to look down on me and make up lies to try and make me look like a bad guy just because he didn't want to deal with their terrible policy is unbelievable. The woman who originally sold us the washer was great and deserves 5 stars. I feel bad for the employees working under this guy. I hope he doesn't treat them the way he treats the customers. Even if David would have been polite the blame falls under the ridiculous store policy. David said it best when he said no they don't stand behind what they sell. read more

Lowes is the place I shop for things I need to repair and maintain my home. I am a Veteran and they not only offer Veterans parking spaces near the entrance, they give Veterans a 10% discount on all items that are not already on sale. I am always thanked for my service to our country when I give them my phone number to look me up in their system for my Veteran status. They are always courteous and helpful too. Since COVID, it is a little harder to find people to help but 9 times out of 10 that I shop there I don't need help anyway. When I go to the other big store (HD) I usually have to search and search for someone to help and usually wait until they are done with another customer. read more

This morning I needed help and a young guy helped me cut some wood. Got back and his cuts were all off by 1-2 inches. Really bummed because I was hoping to do this diy today. Live and learn I should've measured after him. I could tell he had no idea what he was doing. And stacking wood and then cutting isn't meticulous which ppl need. Wood prices are high, I wished he cared about that. The other day though we were helped by Juan and some other guy who cut the wood and they were great. I purchased a washer and dryer in store. They only had the dryer in stock and let me know it was going to be 2-7 business days until the washer was available for pick up. I choose to wait to pick up the dryer when the other unit was there, and was told it would be marked appropriate and moved to the side for me. After not hearing from them for a week I called to check on the status of the washer to find out they couldn't find them. The lady then called back and said she has the washer but not the dryer and no other stores had it in stock. She never apologized or assumed responsibility for the fact that they lost an entire dryer I already paid for. The best she could do was to offer to refund me the money and make a special order with an estimate date of 2-3 weeks. I eventually talked with a manager and I had to ask for a floor model to try and resolve this issue. I just had wished there was an ounce of customer service and responsibility for losing a dryer, but a lesson was learned. If you paid for it and it's available just take it with you!! read more

I'm not impressed with one of the Lowes truck drivers right now. He pulled a serious rookie or d!@& move at the gas station on Victory and Meridian roads. He stopped traffic just so he could cross the double yellow line and turn into the gas station. Gave me poo poo looks because I wouldn't move out of the way for his most precious highness. A work van backed up just for him, due to him pushing his way into the turn lane for west bound traffic only. I hope he appreciates how special he is,and next time choose not to advertise those bad driving choices with the company vehicle. read more

I had a water softener that was delivered to me broken. Unfortunately, I found out when I was in the middle of installing it and it left me without water to my house. David and his team made sure I received a new one right away and arraigned pick up of the old one from my house the next day. I wish I could take my business elsewhere, but Lowes has more variety than anyone in Nampa. There is so much that I hate about Lowes that it sometimes makes me feel like I am at Walmart or Home Depot. I love that they have a variety of items to choose from. In most cases they may charge less than their competitor Home Depot. I will come here for bricks, pipes, and plants. I have even come to Lowes for appliances twice, but not anymore because that is where they lack options. Two years ago I bought a washing machine. Much to my horror I discovered that I cannot have a HE washer and that was all that they had other than the Hot Point. The Hot Point was straight out of the box and was low quality; such a low quality that Lowes was discontinuing them. In addition to this I also discovered how hard it was to find someone to help me. I had to walk around the entire store and there was not anyone available. I had to go to customer service and ask them to call someone to help me with my purchase. I had to do that twice because nobody came to help me after the first time. Lowes is okay because they have a good variety of items to improve your home with. It is too bad they are not capable of improving their customer service. read more

I ordered a part from Lowes on their web page and selected in store pick up as they estimated a delivery date similar to shipping so why not save some money. Delivery was for the 6th. I called on the 6th no part. Called on the 7th, "I'm sorry sir but delivery has been rescheduled for he 11th". No reason given. This part is for my hot tub in Idaho in November. The hot tub has no heat until I get this breaker. So now maybe I get my part mid November maybe not we shall see. Not a call not an email. You go to their page and they show all these ways to connect with them (Facebook, twitter, blah, blah, blah). Yet they don't actually want to connect with you or they would update you when they reschedule your shipping. I would have paid for the shipping as I had an electrician scheduled already based on their promise! I realize it wasn'tmeridian lowes that dropped the ball but that's where it's being delivered so they get the hit I guess. read more

I really love this location. It is always clean and friendly. The store is well labeled so I don't look so dumb but when I have one of those moments, there is always a friendly employee directing me in the right direction. Bathrooms are very clean as well. I've shopped at most of the Lowe's in the treasure valley in the past 20 years, and after moving near the 305 Overland Lowe's store I have been shopping there weekly for the past 3 years. 2 out of 3 times this store is out of the item I went there to buy. Even after using their online webpage to check quantities prior to shopping, the item is either out of stock, or must be placed somewhere else in the building - as it cannot be located after I made the drive there. Its extremely frustrating after shopping at other Lowe's stores and knowing what items are supposed to be available. Today was my last trip to this store, I will drive across the interstate to the Home Depot located 1/2 mile away. Save your time, drive a little further and have confidence their shelves and inventory are well stocked at the Meridian Home Depot...or the other Lowe's located on Eagle Road. read more

DON'T SHOP HERE!!! Sherri, a "customer service" person, and Matt a "manager" verbally assaulted my wife over a piece of tile. She purchased it there, which was denied over and over again until my wife went to the tile section and showed them the tile. These two still went on and on about the difficulties they had as employees and how my wife didn't understand...what's not to understand?!! My wife had the receipts and the MyLowe's proof and was still belittled and embarrassed by these two clowns, acting as if a customer couldn't possibly be correct. Save yourself the time and go to either of the other stores or Home Depot down the street...it will sure beat being surrounded by unhelpful, rude people who are willing to risk a customer leaving over a piece of tile! read more

Well, it is what it is, and they do it well. The staff are well educated about the products they carry, and you can always find someone to assist you - unlike some of the other huge stores I sometimes shop. I'm sorry to say my husband and I had a less than stellar experience. We came in store to buy a shed, but we're sent back outdoors (in over 95 degree weather) to the parking lot to wait for someone to help us. I don't know why (there were three people available at the customer service desk and I literally had a photo with the product number from the shed in thier lot). We waited for 20 minutes for someone to help us, and quite frankly were unimpressed with the attitude from all staff. We will be purchasing the shed elsewhere. read more

Worst store for buying lumber. Selection for what I was looking for, was pretty slim. Once I settled on plenty of warped redwood 2 by 4s, I get in a very long line, where lumber and large products checkout. I was about five people deep with one checker. The other one had an employee standing there, not taking customers, but shooting the breeze with the other checker. I turned around and the line was way down the aisle near the back of the store. Saturday mornings around 11 am, you would think it was all hands on deck! Lowe's on Eagle was a way better experience yesterday. Recently in this store location for a rerun of $112 worth of merchandise. Because we are at the mercy of subcontractors, we missed the 90 day window by a week. We were told that a receipt was necessary in order to get in store credit as we were now unable to return with our credit card. We went home, got the receipt, returned to the store only to be told "sorry" no refund, no in store credit, no partial refund. Nothing. Customer Service???? ZERO! read more

I cannot fathom why the reviews are so low. Moving from CA and everybody, including Joel, Jerry, Michael and Dawna ( and every single customer service person) has been amazing! Delivery had been fantastic and even explained the nuances of the items I purchased. They took extra time to fit my large refrigerator in my small hole so it looks snd works perfectly. Great attitudes and great service. I have had stellar service and deliveries have been great!!! This Lowe's is a great place and their prices are great also. I went into the store to buy a hose for my kitchen faucet, the faucet doesn't have a make or model on it. I went to the store with the broken hose and asked one of the employees for help. He said they didn't carry that hose and my reply was it seems wierd that you sell the faucet but don't carry parts. He then asked me what faucet brand and I told him I didn't know. His reply was that I was dumb for not knowing the brand and then asked me if I knew the kind of car I drove. I said I knew what it was because it's name was on it and then he said it again, that I was dumb for knowing the kind of car I drove but not the brand of faucet in my kitchen. The store is in a great location, the variety of products is pretty good but customer service is horrible. I don't think I can go back there anymore. read more
