I took the car to RPM and they replaced the spark plugs and coil packs and said they didn't see anything wrong with the car. At that point, it has been four months and the car is getting worse. So I ended up taking my car to Falling Waters used auto. From the get-go they were very nice. They told me they would do anything they can to help me. Dennis spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong with the car. He was determined to figure it out. He finally figured out that it was a wiring issue. The shop quoted almost $700 after my having spent a little over $900 earlier this month relating to that same P0455 code. "Lucky" for me, the car started hesitating, dash lights flashing, and difficulty steering, so I was afraid to drive and didn't want to call a tow just to get it to the shop. Convinced I'd have to get a new car, I found Kevin's paperwork in the glove box from 2023 and gave him a call. I realize things come up but when you take someone's phone number when they make an appt, the least you could do would be to call them to inform them you will be closed and apologize for the inconvenience. My husband took off work to have the work done on his truck, so it was a completely wasted day. No work and no front end alignment. I can't recommend this business if you want reliability or common courtesy, but if you like to waste your time, feel free to make an appt.

After not being called back, I call them to be told they couldn't get the part until about the time they close. I explain I can't wait until then I have to work at 8pm and I would pick the car up by 1 before they closed. I was told to hold on she would call the mechanic. I again get no call back, so I call at 1245. This time I get told that they have another vehicle to work on and the mechanic is gonna stay late and work on them. Assures me they will finish and call me. She also gave me a "Mike's" number I could call. 630 I call the number and get no answer or call back. Go by the shop to see my car hasn't moved. Now I need a ride to work at 8 and a ride home at 3am and my car is stuck at shop until Monday when they open. Showed up first thing Monday to be offered no explanation or even a sorry. They hadn't touched a single item on my car in the 3 days they held it hostage
