I was pulled into a crew less than one week before departure, so that left little time to coordinate shirts. This would be for the Badwater 135 ultra marathon, where the runner would be accompanied by a team of people, their "crew", to support them along the 135 mile run from Badwater Basin to the Whitney Portals. Our runner was very low key and didn't consider getting shirts made for her team despite the "big deal" this race actually was to her. The team wanted to do something extra special for her endeavor and hoped a tshirt printer would be able to accommodate our tight deadline and design. Raj (owner) responded immediately and let me know this project would indeed be possible. With how anxious I was about meeting deadlines, I was surprised I was never left feeling like I was waiting for Raj to respond at all. He was swift and continued to problem solve with me along the way until we were able to print. As someone how coordinates events that involve shirt ordering, the typical turnaround time for silk screen shirts is roughly 4 weeks without rush (assuming it isn't a busy season) . The fact that WDFA was able to turn this around in less than one week with DTG and deliver to my home really helped make all the other last minute things I needed to prep so much easier!! To top it off, WDFA included some custom koozies with our design and had everything nicely packaged in a canvas bag featuring our team logo as well. Needless to say, our runner friend was over the moon when she finally saw our team shirts. For someone who had no expectations and was simply thankful to have a crew fill in at such last minute, she didn't even think about the less essential stuff like cool looking team shirts. I came across WDFA and contacted them to dicsuss my order. Spoke to Raj who was very helpful. I advised the specs and the time frame needed for my order. He reviewed with and me and was able to commit to specs and deadline. With that I paid for the order and awaited results. A week later I received notification that there was a slight 2 hour delay or so but it's not that big a deal. The items were still produced the day of the deadline and I was OK'ed to come up. I was connected right away to their executive assistant, Roberta and immediately set a time for that same day. I went and helped with the design Two sweatshirts embroidered in less than 30 minutes. I was in and out of there. It was about $60 (I can't remember how much) But it was a good price for me. I was pleased with the work! I forgot to take a picture of the sweaters but I the gift ended up being a hit! I recommend them! Note: this was for one embroidery on two sweaters. I called two other competitors and one was very rude (i.e. Do you have the finished graphic?No.Call me when you do.). The other person was so flaky and unprofessional, I called him twice and he never called me back. I was so frustrated and decided to look at another choice. I found SilkScreen on Yelp and contacted Tony about my project. I will admit that I was slightly skeptical about all the rave reviews, was it too good to be true? No, no it wasn't, Tony really is that GOOD! I called and explained my situation. I had a finished graphic, I needed 35 shirts and I needed them as soon as possible. He was so polite and so professional. Tony asked me to email him the graphic and we could look at it right then. I emailed him, he looked at it and he told me that he would get on it right away! He suggested different color shirts, within the range that I gave him , and showed me a proof. It was perfect! Within a week I had my shirts delivered by Tony and they were exactly how I envisioned them. He included care instructions and I learned a little more about the screen printing process. In this day and age it is very difficult to find someone who values customer service and satisfaction. He said it was going to be tough but was willing to work with me depending on the graphic. (EVERY OTHER company that I called on Yelp that had "high ratings" told me I didn't prepare right or that it was impossible). Well, I told Tony what I needed and what the shirts needed to look like. He worked hard into the night and got my team EXACTLY what we needed for our presentation on friday morning. Guess what? It's Friday afternoon and we had our presentation and scored excellent points because of the shirts by building repoire with our clients.
