I went in to pick up honey, ketchup, and Grits. I actually scored with a tremendous 2 for $6, saving myself $1 compare to S&S. I was able to pick up some plums. I've been looking for plums for quite some time. The staff did go above and beyond with customer service delivery. I asked to see strainers because I couldn't find them, the stock clerk actually walked me over to were the strainers and kitchenware was located and told me where I could find more strainers if that's not what I was looking for. THE MERCHANDISER** I am always excited to see a well merchandised store. I had to stop and tell the merchandiser/ stock clerk/ silent sales person, how good of a job he was doing even if he never hear it again. He thanked me! He maximizes sales by managing product display and ensuring that shelves are fully stocked. If the shelves aren't fully stocked the merchandiser will use the fronting method and facing technique. That's when you walk in the grocery store in this instance and see the product pulled to the front of the shelves, squared to make the shelf look full and the product is properly faced so you see the front of the product and not the side or the back of the product. See pics! I'm considering to start shopping at Western Beef more often and I do find it interesting how they have a walk-in freezer where you'd find meats. They have a pretty good size parking lot and there other stores and restaurants in really close by. Oh, and the cashier was phenomenal! Inspire more, Yelp more!

If I went to BJ's I can get a bigger bag. So here's my comparison - Stop & Shop: $11.99 for 22 oz ~$0.545 per ounce - BJ's: $21.99 for 64 oz ~$0.343 per ounce, that's a 36% savings at BJ's. While Stop & Shop is banking on impulse buys and smaller package margins my delayed gratification and bulk economics of BJ's win out, which makes me a winner. I refuse to purchase from Stop and Shop that day but they may have a better bargain another day. I'm so grateful that I took a course in economics it helps with smart decisions making and impulse purchases.

The entire store was magnificent . My attention went to the smoothie bar, the lady behind the counter was more than helpful, engaging, and maintained eye contact when conversing. The name of the drink is Fresh Green (FG), the drink was obviously fresh as they have tons of fresh produce in the area. Kale, lemon, celery, and apple is noticable and gave a distinction taste. No other store has this little asterisk, (not to mention this place also has the highest prices in the area) not even the Key Food on Central Avenue. I do realize they are different owners, but the umbrella name is Key Food, so maybe a little bit of continuity would be nice? I told the manager, whose bigger manager was there and he said, yeah, they had a meeting and this was what they decided. Ok then, now I've made a decision and it's to never shop this store again. My mother may love the cole slaw, but she'll learn to live without it. 5% isn't going to break me, but you know what? Every penny counts, especially for seniors.
