Being first time customer and not knowing how the service or how big be the pizza's or made she seemed upset that we were asking her. Once she explained that the pizzas a 4"x4" pan style he said he wanted several toppings and she told us that you can only put 1 to 3 toppings so my buddy tells me that he would pay for the extra toppings and she tells us " your not going to like it because it will be to thick" in my head is she going to eat it or are we. So she kept insisting only 3 toppings you buddy and I just told her we will be going to Mario's Wood fired Pizza place as you can add as many toppings as you would like and they have a great customer service!! The food is excellent however the service is lacking. A single bartender/waitress/owner tends the bar and restaurant. The owner needs to hire more staff. This could be a five star bar however the long wait is horrible. Our food was waiting on the shelf for over 10 minutes before it was brought out. read more

I'm really tired of the lack of variety when it come to pizza styles in this area. This place is in one of those shopping plazas where the only shop that has lasted more than a few years is the Wine and Spirits place. I can't remember all of the places that used to occupy this store... The service was friendly enough and there is a small amount of seating in the shop. The pizza itself was unremarkable. Except they were VERY liberal with the olives. The cheese refused to stay on my pizza slice, and not because it was hot either. Blah. The sauce was just OK. The American Sub was average also. Not much different than what I can get at any Subway for less money. And the "loaded potatoes" are not what you'd think they are. As Darren said, they are more like home fries. I wanted tater skins dang it! I'm not sure this place will be the shop to keep that void in the plaza filled. Ok so I absolutely had to give this place five stars. After a really long trip from eastern PA, I popped in here to get takeout before checking into the neighboring hotel. I was greeted by this super friendly guy. When I asked him what he recommended he said "everything". So, I looked at the menu I was immediately drawn to the hot sausage sandwich because they make their own sausage - SOLD! When I got to my room, I was surprised even more to find out that there were homemade chips included! Everything was delish! I'll return if I have the opportunity to travel back this way. read more

I've been eating D&G since 1979 in the beaver falls location. A few years ago I tried this location. Awesome. Something happened in the last year or so, because this pizza sucks now. The dough wasn't consistent. Chewy on some pieces crispy on the others: greasy, sloppy. This is not the same as Beaver Falls anymore. I'm not sure if management changed or owners but it's nothing like BF. I gave it 2 more chances when I come back into town to visit family. And it wasn't good the other times. Stopped by here while staying at a local hotel. Ate at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Bartender made a good drink. First night I had wings and a burger. The burger was good and came with homemade chips which I love. The wings were ok. I ordered them in hot but felt like they were mild. They were a little well done for my liking as well. We decided to come back again on the second night here. Tuesday was definitely a bigger crowd, but service was still fast and friendly. Had wings and pizza this time. The pizza was good- I got pepperoni. I tried the wings in the six pepper dry rub this time as they were promised to be their hottest. Once again I was disappointed. The dry rub was lacking in flavor and they still weren't very spicy. I added some hot sauce and made them almost passable but they were still too crispy for me. Overall I really liked this place. The atmosphere was fun, the service was great and the food was pretty good. If not for the wings I would give 4 stars. The pizza is square and you can get any toppings that you want. I prefer to take out since the inside is kind of dingy. My husband loves their pizza while I prefer police station pizza. I don't recommend their wings but I do like their buffalo chicken sandwich. * An update, we went in to grab pizza. When I went tanning, my husband went in to order. So disappointed. I'd been looking forward to trying this place - it's surprisingly difficult to find a restaurant that has wait service, pizza, and draft beer - and finally had a chance tonight. The pizza was actually great - even though the cold shredded cheese and pepperoni slices weren't exactly appetizing, it worked. Wings were fine. The bacon turkey sub was terrible. Over-toasted. Oddly constructed with meat on the bun, then melted American, then lettuce and tomato, then a few dollops of mayo on the very top. Impossible to eat without a knife and fork. My husband and I had Horrible service tonight!! We sat at a high table along the right side of the building on the bar side. The bartender asked (from across the room) what we wanted to drink, then she dropped them off and walked away. She then came back over when we told her that we wanted to order food. Make note that she did write our order down on a piece of paper. We then waited for 45min for and it was completely wrong!! We asked for 4 pieces of pizza, she brought out 5 with incorrect toppings. We also ordered a meatball sub and antipasto salad. When we asked for it, she looked at us like she saw a ghost! She was completely lost!! I said but you wrote it down! She apologized and told the mgr that she screwed up our order. The mgr then proceeds to tell us (from across the room, again) that it only takes a few minutes to make the salad. (Well, duh!) She said that she would comp our meal but in actuality they took off his beer and charged us for the pizza and my drink. Needless to say, we won't be back anytime soon. We have been ordering pizza out for over 10 years but seems to be ever since the expansion of the bar, the place has changed drastically!! read more
