I can't say enough about how grateful we were to the special employees at this pizza shop! The night before my sons birthday party, our original catering plan fell through. I called El Pizza plus and found that while they were not quite open at the start of his party, someone there was willing to show up early and prepare and even deliver all of the pizza for his birthday party. It was so clear to me that this woman loves her job and cared about making the pizza for the party. I had such a sense of gratitude and can see how this pizza shop goes above and beyond just the quality of their food. To that end, the quality of the pizza was outstanding! What happened here? It used to be the best, but it is now ranking as one of the worst. Dough is never fully cooked, leaving a soggy mess and disgusting crust even after asking for them to cook it longer. I have given it one last chance for the last time. Ordered food and they messed up. They offered to fix and took an hour, seen them deliver to across street so called back to see what's happening and the girl toldme they busy and I'm not a priority right now!!!! Im super upset nothing was done and the girl working there didn't care at all cussed at me and had horrible attitude!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I've been getting pizza at Pizza Plus for a couple of decades now. I always said it was the best pizza in Butler. Today, however, I bought a pizza for lunch and about an hour after eating a few slices, I had the worst, most painful hamstring thigh cramps hit me. I only ever consistently got those same leg cramps after eating cheap BP gas station pizza off of route 28 Millerstown exit. It's cheap crap pizza that I call painful pizza because of the cramps that onset after eating it. Those are the only two places that ever gave me excruciating thigh cramps. I'll never eat there again. I think they changed ownership. I've never seen the guys before who are currently running it. Way to ruin the best pizza shop in Butler. I'll never go back. I'm throwing away the rest of the pizza that's left over. Honestly, it doesn't even taste the same. It's really bland. Where'd the flavor go. It's absolute garbage. read more

Decent Pizza. Great cheese. Lol I know that sounds weird but the cheese is really good. I ordered double cheese and it was nice and thick. Most other places around skimp on the cheese. The crust is ....eh OK. I like a nice thick crust sometimes. It was nice and thick. Could have been cooked a tad bit longer. The sauce was the worst part about the pizza. Not very good sauce and barely had any flavor. I would describe the sauce as boring. I ordered the Doritos Taco. What a sad attempt for what they are trying to create. I lived in every major city in Texas so trust me I know Mexican food. I literally laughed when I saw the $.25 bag of Doritos. Wow! The hamburger meat was seasoned super good. However, it was lacking. You have to bring it! You didn't . Try again. You will need a bigger bag, more meat, peppers, cheese sauce, shredded cheese, tomatoes, sour cream,chopped potatoes,etc. Overall I give it 2 stars. I absolutely love their food. those wing, dings; fried hard! with that seasoning. pepper & some sort of dipping sauce. damn. love it.

Dough is the right consistency always, not too chewy, but not hard enough that your crack your canine tooth on. I love the taste of the THICK crust. Cannot be beat!! Vegetables are fresh and not cooked too much. Get extra cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, green pepper, onion, and banana peppers. Will be a bit pricey, but if you have a problem with it, you probably liked Cici's and you deserve to eat a Red Barron's instead. Horrible parking location, but the pizza is worth it -- trust me. Just don't do a U-turn or some other illegal vehicular move because the State Police Barracks is very close and they are always floating around there. You're not Jeff Gordon, but you can eat some Jean Claude Van Damn good pizza. read more

Ordered for delivery on 4/27/18. Food was very good, but the reason for review is to compliment the delivery driver (didnt catch his name). He brought our order, which included a kids meal/drink. The drink was not sent with the delivery. He was very apologetic and insisted on going to GetGo to pick up a kids drink and bring it back for us. He ended up bringing two drinks. Pizza plus is my favorite pizza in Butler township, hands down. Their dough is amazing, and to me that is the single most important thing about a pizza. When I'm in Butler and I want to order a pizza this is the go to. The prices are a bit high for a pizza, but I'll accept it as price is worth the quality. read more
