My alcohol drinking days are long behind me, for various health reasons. I am heartened by the…read morezero proof options that are available these days. It's nice to have the option to enjoy mocktails and adult-style beverages while still taking care of my other concerns. I went to Total Wine looking for NA Prosecco, as I was planning to serve mimosas for Easter brunch. One of their friendly, helpful staff members saw me with a puzzled look on my face and walked me over to the alcohol-free aisle. It was great to see options for liquor, wines, and beer, plus mixed drinks all without the buzz factor. She helped me locate the bubbly. There was a brand that I'd read about, plus another which was a pre-mixed mimosa option. I bought both bottles. They also carry Blue Moon N.A., and I bought a six pack for Dear Hubby. He asked me why, and I said that if he wanted the taste and knew that he was going to be drinking, he wouldn't have to worry about that combo. He tried it and said it wasn't quite the same, but he could enjoy it with a citrus twist which he likes. As for my Prosecco and orange juice adventure, it was great. I hadn't had champagne in a very long time and aided by the juice I couldn't tell the difference. Prices seemed fair, albeit I'm not up to date on what to expect. I may spring for one of the whiskey or rum options for sipping the prior and mixing the latter. This store and their knowledgeable staff has won my business.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! Cork Dork was a magical night out for my friends and I. I'm so happy we…read morefound it. It is a longstanding, hidden gem. The decor and ambience sets the tone when you walk in. Moody lighting, green velvet furniture and olive trees. I mean, come on. Then the staff blasts you off on a caring and magical ride for your tastebuds; through their farm to table ingredients, exquisite wine and utmost service. Rosie made us feel so welcomed. Her winning personality made it feel like we were old friends. Her attentiveness made us want for nothing. She went above and beyond to exceed every expectation, we didn't know we had. Thank you Rosie. You're an amazing human being! Now for the food. I love their use of technology with the tablets to read about their offerings and even see beautiful photos to help you make a decision. Thank you Rosie for the additional insight and recommendations too. With so many great options, it took me a little to decide. I'm glad I didn't rush and really allowed myself to take in the experience. The grand finale, the food's arrival. Every ingredient is intentionally plated with love and passion. Your eyes and nose are in for a treat the moment it hits the table in front of you. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorites were definitely the Short Rib Birria, Chocolatine, Gail Wines Cabernet, Cowdrey Bordeaux, and Daniele Barolo. My mouth still waters just thinking about them. I thoroughly enjoyed every sip, each bite and all the smiles at Cork Dork. I can't wait to come back and try your wine paired dinner.

I was wrong. Cork Dork IS a wine bar but the food is absolutely not an after thought. There's a great amount of care and passion behind the dishes (my guest and I got the tasting menu), as was evident in talking with Danny the head chef. A spectrum of vivid flavors. Friendly and attentive staff.
