I gave him another call at 7:56pm, since I hadn't heard from him and was wondering when I could expect him. He said he wouldn't be there for another 10 minutes or so. By the time he got there, it was 8:15pm and he charged me $175 to pick my lock, which took about 45 seconds. I wish I spent more time shopping around for other quotes, since a nearby business only quoted me $80. It was helpful overall but I would only use it again in a true emergency.

I like the fact that he called to tell me he was on his way and the time it would take to get to my house. This was important because a friend offered to drive from a great distance to sit with me until a locksmith arrived but with a short ETA, it wasn't necessary (saved my friend time and gas). Russel was friendly and worked quickly on that rainy evening to replace the lock on my security door. Unfortunately, because the lock was a deadbolt he had to drill through the key hole to remove the entire unit. Although a bit expensive, I'm very happy with the quality of service received from Jefferson Locksmith from the time I placed my call up until the end of the service call and I highly recommend them. With a brand new battery in and tested he walked the dog. But he couldn't get back in! We both immediately concurred, call CLC Locksmiths! Don answered the phone and could hear panic in my neighbors voice. Don explained that the electronics in the unit start to go and begin to eat batteries. Wow! It was agreed that a new unit was needed. Don requested a text photo of the existing unit and responded that they had one left on the shelf! Within minutes Don was there!
