Both were excellent to work with and the project was completed in a timely manner. It was a complete kitchen remodel. The showroom has everything that you would want in your kitchen. 0 star rating, I really dislike writing a bad review but at times they are needed and this one is necessary. I walked in today around 1:15pm was not greeted by the employee sitting at the front counter eating her lunch and browsing her phone. Fine I figured she was on her lunch and doesn't want to be interrupted. She could have gone elsewhere not the front desk for the customers to see first thing upon entering and not being acknowledged. Fine, I made my way around her to the cabinet area, I thought there must be another employee assisting customers. But no, no one ever approached me, no one else besides her and me was at the store. Made my way around her again because I was there looking for tile, quartz and backsplash for a full kitchen and three bathrooms and needed the stone for everything; we are doing a complete remodel. Again I was not even acknowledged, by my 3rd time circling the store I did notice she put her mask on which means she was done with lunch but was still on her phone too busy to even turn around to look at me let alone ask if I needed help with anything. I know the audacity in me expecting to be acknowledged and asked what I needed help finding?.... my apologies At that point I gave up, I had passed her 3 times and I was not "worthy" of her time; I will take my money elsewhere. That's too bad because this store actually had beautifully stone in the back I could have used for my kitchen and bathrooms. I had not seen stone like this at any other stores in town. I'm not worthy of her time and I don't think she's worthy of her job. Management should really checkout their cameras when employees are left alone. You are loosing business because of lazy unmotivated employees and also giving yourself a bad name with poor customer service. read more

My husband and I walked into the shop one day just to look at counter tops and cabinet examples (we already had a contractor that had been messing us around) we were greeted right away, Karina did every right to make us change contractor. (We went back a week later after firing bad contractor) We went straight to Karina for help. We walked out with plans and estimate completed. That next week work started, workers showed up on time everyday, and very pleasant to work with. Dennis and his crew fix drywall work that our previous contractor messed up on and started my new kitchen I can't say enough about them. I had an amazing experience with Dennis and his team. We contacted them to come in and remodel my kitchen and bathroom. We weren't sure what we wanted, and they gave me plenty of suggestions of what we can do that would fit within our budget. They were very open and honest with us and walked us through the whole process. They offered financing which was a huge help. I would normally have given at least a 3 but really things didn't turn out even as average as we expected. My review has been sitting in the draft for months. The team worked hard but not as professionally as reasonably expected. Gravel and granite chunks were left on our lawn. Paint on some of the leaves (even my shoes got paint on them and they were in the shoe rack the whole time!). We had to ask them to cover our wood floors as they didn't automatically do so the second day work was done. They also didn't use a dolly to move appliances. The kitchen cabinet door inside piece came loose within weeks of install and the cabinets appear warped. We didn't bother to complain initially because we figured it could well have been cheap cabinets even though we didn't pay a cheap price for installing. When a friend dropped by and mentioned that the doors were not straight it made sense that the right cabinet has been difficult to close. In the original install of the hood vent we were provided the wrong hood. A number of things we requested were either not added when we met with Dennis (the owner), or they weren't calculated (i.e., sink, faucet) Today, 5 months after everything was completed, the kitchen garbage disposal is leaking underneath. It appears that they didn't place sufficient putty to seal the bottom. We've never had a leak from it in the 2 years it was installed originally under our previous sink. read more

D&M deserves a five star rating, me and my wife visited the showroom and over heard another customer talking how she was pleased with their work. So we made an appointment with Dennis and received a quote a few days later. Karina (designer) e-mailed a few designs to look at. We decided to give this company a chance and boy we're glad we did. Not only are the prices fair but the overall experience from start to finish was amazing. The interaction with Karina and Amie was pleasant they have excellent customer service especially when your doing a major project such as ours. Jose and team were amazing. Most importantly, he called me every morning to make sure the alarm was off. It's so important to have a competent responsible company come into your home and take care of business. I am not a person to write reviews but I have noticed that this business has 3 stars. I won't lie I was a bit scared after reading the reviews but I thought I would give this place a shot. I went about a month and a week ago. Store seems small but has many selections once you go in. Very clean store and great personnel. They measured for me later that week and had my estimate that same day. I decided for them to do my install since their prices were fair. They just finished my install and I am beyond happy with their work. Dennis 's workers were in and out within consecutive days. And their granite installer was very friendly and did an awesome job with my seams. Especially since I have an island in my kitchen that needed two stones. I am really glad I gave this store a chance. Our family is happy and I am in love with my kitchen. Thank you soo much for helping us with our kitchen remodel. read more

They did flooring for me; I'm very pleased with the flooring now that it's installed. The guy came to measure for flooring and did it incorrectly. He wrote in Chinese and apparently he couldn't read his own writing. Another issue I have is in scheduling. They schedule you for a certain time and don't show up. When contacted they tell you that they have you down for a completely different date. Make sure you get the scheduling date in writing because it is an inconvenience and inconsiderate. Communication is lacking somewhere. I do not want to recommend them to anyone because of the unprofessionalism. Plus their prices are a little extreme. read more

I don't usually write reviews but just to share my experience with this store. We went to check out there backsplash tiles today July 29, 2019. And found the one we want. Sticker price was $7.59 each I told the saleswoman if I can order it today and she keeps on saying you can come back on Monday. I told her I can order it today even if the tiles will come next week. She spent time on the computer checking the order and after that she told me she can sell me the tiles at $ 13.00 each. I'm like why when the sticker price is $ 7.59 they should honor their sticker price but she said no I'll give it $13.00 and said the sticker price is not possible. Never will I'll go back to this store, they jack up the price way too much. I got a quote for kitchen cabinets here too for almost 9k but I went to a different store and got our wood cabinets for $4,400. Customers should shop around first and check their quotes before paying, sticker price might be different with the selling price. read more

Our experience with D&M was extraordinary. It started when we dropped into their showroom unannounced. The staff took an immediate interest in our project, which involved a complete renovation of our kitchen and the installation of a bar in another room. They contacted Dennis, who promptly came to our home. He listened to our vision and offered ideas and options. In that very first contact, Dennis sold us on his sincerity, flexibility, and professionalism. He then referred us back to his Stockton staff, who collaborated with us to make our product selections and develop the design. Within a couple of weeks, we had his proposal in hand, which turned out to be significantly lower than the competition. A few weeks later, the demolition and construction began - and one month after that the project was completed. We are thrilled with the results! Both the kitchen and the bar are absolutely beautiful. Dennis organizes his employees into teams. The office staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and communicative. Each of his construction teams have specialties. These teams move in and out of the process seamlessly. We found all the D&M employees to be skilled, friendly, and courteous. When it comes time to renovate our bathrooms, we will certainly be calling D&M. read more

Overall, my experience with the company was positive. The final product was great our kitchen and flooring endended up beautiful. Karina was really helpful on keeping us in the loop. We usually called her for clarifaction and for additional information that we needed. Dennis and his crew did the best job on my kitchen. I didn't think I would be as impressed as I am with the result. You never know what you will get with a company that you just hire based of word of mouth with product. I went into their store looking to only buy cabinets, and get someone else to install them. I took a chance and hired them to do the entire project, based off of my conversations I had while I was shopping for my cabinets. From start to finish, from the girls that helped me initially Aimee and Karina I believe with Ideas and Design, then to Dennis coming to my home to take measurements and provide input and suggestions, this was a better experience than I imagined it would be. They were very professional and reliable, and got the job done sooner than they expected. I completely recommend them for any project in your home. I will be using them for further repairs, improvements, etc given how happy of a customer I am now. They built my dream kitchen :) read more

BUYER BEWARE! My experience was pleasant and turned completely SOUR! Customer service is horrible and they have a fee for EVERYTHING! Installer was supposed to show up between 11-12 and showed up at 4:30! Nothing was explained properly, the girl from the store, Leslie is very unprofessional with even going to the extreme of making the comment of "look at how your acting" when I kept insisting for the installer to come out regardless if he was going to install or not since he was getting paid either way. I don't know of many businesses that are ran this way but if you want a pleasant experience, i would suggest going elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and the frustration of dealing with unprofessional staff. Although the prices may be appealing, you literally get what you pay for all the way down to the type of people your going to have to deal with. As a business owner I would never do business here again, time is money as we all know and although the owner waived the install fee for the other slab I ordered, which again came in the wrong size, I still have workers that I HAVE to pay for having cancelled due to this mess. Even after paying the other slab cash, the girl was again rude and I honestly don't know if many business who run there stores this way. again, if I could do it all over again I would go somewhere else where they get it right the first time. read more
