Recently found this little gem of a place in Haddonfield, NJ that focuses on girls and women's…read moresports. Stopped in because we were going to be down in the area anyway and my daughter needed a new field hockey stick-and had a great experience. The owner was there to help us out and we were able to spend quality time with her to determine the best stick for my daughter. We were there about an hour and never once did we get the 'upsell' for a more expensive stick...she took her time with my daughter and, like Olivander in Harry Potter, let the stick choose the girl! We were also able to pick up additional items and were given a discount for what seemed like no other reason than she was an amazing person who really cares about girls and women's sports. The only unfortunate thing for us is that her place is SO far out of our way it would be difficult to make this a regular shopping site for us. My sales pitch??? If you live anywhere near Haddonfield, NJ and need sports gear/apparel for your field hockey, lacrosse, soccer or basketball playing daughter-this is the spot!

This place is small...as big as my kitchen..but don't let that stop you from coming. Their prices are also about $10 less than other running stores I've been to, so that's great too. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that there is no treadmill to 'try them out,' and no place to really even walk around to see how they feel....but their return policy is generous, so that shouldn't be a big deal. After the last attempt, I actually just gave up as the shoes were coming back to me relatively the same as I turned them in. There just wasn't enough difference between the before and after to justify continually spending money to have them professionally done when I can just do it myself and achieve the same results. However, recently, I've changed jobs so I thought I would get these shoes shined again, just to have a fresh look as my shoes are nearly 8 years old at this point. I took them to Lenny's and I am ABSOLUTELY BLOWN!! These shoes have never come back to me looking so shiny and clean. I was absolutely stunned when she handed them to me. They nearly look new!! FINALLY !! Thank you so much for taking the necessary pride in your profession and fulfilling a service that your counterparts were not so successful at completing.
