If it's a small order, I could just put the food in it to go box myself at the table..... if there's a reason they're not taking to go orders they need to state what it is. About the flavor difference I don't know the potatoes taste different. The burnt ends taste different. The brisket taste different. They have also made several menu changes and changes to how they advertise in the actual brick-and-mortar location. With all these changes over the last six years, it just does not feel or taste like the same restaurant. And I'm turned off by the refusal of to go orders. I would much rather drive down the street to the other barbecue location.

I really appreciated all the different types and flavors of sauce but that couldn't save the ribs. As a person who grew up eating my mother's homemade banana pudding, I couldn't even try to eat what they were calling "banana" pudding. The barbecue beans had too many beans in it and no meat, for some reason I thought there would be meat in the barbecue beans. All this to say, I was underwhelmed by every part of this experience besides the customer service. I even asked a guy who was throwing away his empty food tray "how was it?" His reply was excellent? Maybe in Idaho? After all "good" and "bad" is relative. I don't think I need to have this experience again.

When I asked to cancel the order, the staff repeatedly redirected me to Uber Eats--even though I had ordered directly through their website. Eventually, the order was found and refunded, but the lack of an apology or any level of kindness from the two employees on shift was disappointing. I've operated in the F&B industry and know how hard it is to find good people, so I'm writing this as a heads-up to the owner. I'd love to see this location succeed, but the current level of service will unfortunately drive customers away. For reference I was in on 4/8 at 7pm to pick up my order placed at 6:09pm.
