Unannounced Itinerary Changes: The plan was repeatedly altered for the guide's convenience. He canceled our visit to Sequoia National Park just to pick up passengers in Los Angeles, substituting it with a brief look at smaller sequoias in Yosemite on the same day. He then drove back near LA to drop off and pick up more travelers. Poor Accommodations & Delays: We stayed in cheap, isolated hotels far from city centers. Additionally, an hour-long delay checking into our hotel in Las Vegas severely cut into our time on the Strip. Mishandled Group Dynamics: We started with a group of similar ages, which was great. However, on the third day, older travelers joined, and the guide split us into two vehicles. We were reassigned to a car with the older group while the original group stayed with another guide, completely ruining the dynamic. Filler Stops: Time was wasted on trivial locations with no tourist value, such as a stop to see a hotel with pink rooms. Clear Favoritism: Eli clearly treated guests differently based on their profession, referral potential, or review impact. High-value guests serve and were treated better, rides to kosher restaurants, and airport drops, while the rest of us were sidelined. I would not recommend this tour if you are looking for a reliable, fair, and well-organized experience.

At one point she blamed the computers as being out of use. For one leg of my trip I wanted to take a train so that I could see the beautiful Norwegian countryside, and she kept booking me on a flight! I finally just booked the train directly. I booked the Estonia ferry directly, too. After I struggled through all of the flight purchases, she began to book hotels for me. None of the possible hotels matched any of the requirements that I had mentioned. Apparently Frosch has a deal with some chains and will try to get you to use the hotels on their list. I got so fed up that I just told her to stop and I booked all of the hotels directly. I would never use Frosch by Chase Travel again.
