LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS; we didn't and regret it immensely. My husband left a kinder review of…read morehow awful this experience has been, but it continues to get worse and I'm beyond fed up. As of today, we have requested a refund because we feel completely scammed and taken advantage of, and unsurprisingly, we've received zero response from Miguel. We hired this company for a patio project that turned into a nightmare from the start. The job was delayed for months. We signed in April of 2025 and paid in full when we received the quote, but after payment, communication became terrible, our patio was finally poured at the end of June almost July 2025. Miguel would promise a start date and then fail to respond when they didn't show up--but at least you got paid in full before any work was done, right? My husband didn't want to mention this, but at this point I feel we've protected this company enough. When the crew finally did show up, they were drinking on the job. After they left, we found broken beer bottles in our yard, and concrete was splattered on our siding and windows even after they said they would hang a tarp which never happened and it's still covered even after they came back and "power washed." I was willing to let it go because I was grateful our experience was over but then within four months, the stamped concrete cracked and chipped apart. Miguel admitted there was a bad batch of concrete and said he was suing his supplier, but at this point that is not our problem. We have been patient and understanding for over a year, and as of today, nothing has been fixed. Miguel also told my husband over the phone that if we switched to a brushed finish instead of stamped concrete, they would take care of a flower bed or retaining wall since we paid more for stamped concrete, but now he suddenly does not remember that conversation. The timeline we were given for the repour was "June-ish," which tells us absolutely nothing and now it's almost June and we're no closer to an ETA. We paid nearly $10,000 for a patio and steps and feel completely taken advantage of. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you enjoy paying for a product that crumbles apart and having to chase down the person responsible. We could not have been more desperate than we have been to try to get a resolution. It's exhausting. Enjoy the photos of our patio and being ghosted!! Attaching multiple screenshots of the lack of communication, our crumbling concrete, and our ruined siding and window and our sad last desperate attempt at getting a PARTIAL refund. Also, apparently if you apply less than 1/4 cup of pet safe salt ONCE in the winter, that's the reason the admitted bad batch of concrete failed after 4 months. If you have pets and don't want to to fall on ice, don't hire them! Shameful

What a fantastic contractor! We are installing a back yard hot tub and needed a new, large,…read moreconcrete pad designed to support it. The project process with Rendon Paving was painless! The quote team arrived ON TIME (actually early). The quote itself took only 24 hours to generate, and was very price competitive. After committing to Rendon, the scheduling team was top notch. Since it's an outdoor protect, weather could impact the timing of the work. There was CLEAR and POLITE communication every step of the 2 visit process. And the work itself? The masons arrived on time and with excellent attitudes and work ethic. So courteous and pleasant to talk to. They did an incredible job and we could not be more pleased with the quality of the work. Everything was cleaned up nicely during and after job - and my patio has never looked better! Amazing. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars we were so happy with the experience. Please call Rendon! My experience with Palumbo Concrete was exhausting and incomplete. I did not want to take to the…read moreweb to express my discontent with the contractor but it is what I have left because he delays and he does not respond. I will leave concise list in my experience of where this contractor areas of improvement are. My initial review is very low (if zero stars, I would). If the contractor corrects the issues, I will leave an updated review if needed. My observations: * Contractor pulling permits (double check permits have been completed by confirming with local jurisdiction) * Contractor underestimates plumbing subcontractors work and will ask you for more money. * Contractor used 2x4 frames for a 4 inch thick concrete. 2x4 is actually 3.5 inches. Cracking already appearing near 3 steps in less than 6 months. * Contractor damaged the garden spigot and attempted to repair it. The repairs did not remedy the situation. I repaired it myself and reduced my payment to the contractor by the amount and handed him back his parts. * Contractor damages surrounding utilities when given explicit information on where they are located and takes note. In my case, water and electrical connections to the garage and air conditioner connections. The air conditioner connection was fixed by my nice hvac contractor that did not charge me extra because they felt bad for me getting a waterproofing contractor that hits stuff. For the water and electrical, he had one of his electrical subcontractors out to fix the connection but the issue popped up multiple times after he left. * Contractor did snake out drain at no charge but did charge for additional clean out (that was unforeseen and I accepted) * Contractor will require a good amount upfront and say the rest is due upon completion. Then when the project gets underway, the contractor will state an unforeseen circumstance came up and he needs almost all the money before the end of the job. * Contractor needs pushing to clean up after concrete on site. * Contractor will dump any leftover fresh concrete any where out of eyesight on job site and leave it for you to clean up. * Contractor will attempt to not complete simple grading after project. The reason why I wrote the review is to let other people know of the potential issues with this contractor. Those were some of the note worthly issues I encountered. You may encounter more and/or different ones if you choose to hire this contractor and do not keep a close eye on the contractor team. I made every attempt to be a reasonable person with the contractor and try to handle issues like two adults. When one party does not follow through to rectify incomplete work caused by their mistakes, others should be warned. I still have electrical and plumbing issues outstanding from his reckless operation. DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOUR ISSUES HAVE ALL BEEN RESOLVED (and you have confirmed it). The contractor will delay, delay, delay, and finally stop answering/returning messages to leave you in the wind. Please learn from my experience.

They ran short on concrete (they said it's a normal thing...), but then poured another batch to finish and made a big, dark square right in the MIDDLE of the patio. Why the middle?? Also, when the concrete was finished they had sealed it, but we had both agreed that something must have been wrong with the sealer because it was a blotchy mess. He said he was going to strip the original sealer, and then redo it to try and make it all more even looking. He had done a test spot, and it wasn't perfect, but it was better. I could have lived with it. He comes to my house and just reseals the concrete over the mess that was still there. When I asked him about it (because it looked worse now), he said that he did strip it and reseal it. He insisted he did the "exact same process" as the test spot. I then told him that I have cameras on my house and I know he didn't strip it. He then ignored me and would not respond. So I had to then message one of the owners of the company, and he was the worst one. He made it out to be like I was just unreasonable and they basically can't guarantee their work. What I was expecting was: "I'm sorry, that's not how we do business, let me come take a look". Instead, he wanted to give me a hard time. I was shocked by how nasty he was. I simply wanted someone to actually care and try and fix it for me. If it wasn't fixable, then I at least knew that they tried. It ended with him telling me he was in Florida and I needed to wait until he got back in 2 weeks. I never heard back from anyone.
