We came in on Friday expecting to enjoy the event, but it was a very disappointing experience. It wasn't even busy, yet the service was some of the worst we've experienced. Servers were standing around talking to each other and on their phones instead of checking on tables. Our server was standing at the kitchen entrance on her phone, and when it was finally time to leave, it took over 30 minutes just to get our check. The table behind us was also getting frustrated with how long everything was taking. We understand that restaurants can have busy nights, but this wasn't one of them. When there are only a few tables and staff are standing around, there really isn't an excuse for such poor service. The kitchen went out of its way to accommodate a challenging dietary restriction, which I truly appreciated. It wasn't as busy as a Saturday or Sunday, which made it easier to keep track of the kids and likely contributed to the staff being so accommodating.

So THEY put the wrong night down and now I have a crying 5 year old that was told to leave class, when it wasn't even her fault. Then they told me that my daughter was there on Monday evening, and showed me the class roster and her name was checked off. She was in a different city taking swimming lessons at the time they said she was there. So for a positive, safe environment that is being talked about in the main page and website, they are pencil whipping the attendance, so they actually have no idea what kids are there or not. As I said we have been spending our money there for 2 years, and now they can't or won't try to fix their mistake. The owner was too busy to come and talk to me when asked to speak to one of them, and I was told they would contact us the following day. Do not trust this place, do not trust them with your child's safety. There are a ton of other better options in the area. Some of the instructors are great, but some are just kids themselves that do not teach the kids anything. Instead of making sure the child was having the best experience possible, they made her feel singled out and like she did something wrong, and trying to explain to a 5 year old that she didn't do anything wrong but was still told to leave class in front of all the other kids is just embarrassing for her. On the bright side, we went to the competitor and were able to sign up for less, and at a more convenient location in a nicer facility.

I love the layout of it and the gorgeous ceremony site is what drew me in! I started to work with Meredith and she was really great with communication. Then Annie took over for venue coordination when Meredith went on maternity leave and she was amazing as well! Very responsive to her emails especially as we got to closer to the wedding and answering all of my questions. The day of wedding staff was amazing! They took care of everything and the day ran so smoothly. They even put a water station out by my ceremony site due to the hot weather which I didn't even have to ask. At dinner they were very quick with getting the food out and omg the food was amazing! We got so many compliments with the food! Overall, recommend getting married here!

It's not your average playground; it's big, well designed and has tons of opportunities for kids to explore and play. What really makes Shoreview Community Center stand out is the community. They offer so much more than just a pool and playground. From the fitness center to the skatepark they have created a space for all interests and ages. It's clear they have invested in making a valuable resource for everyone.

Bamboo Bay is much louder than the main pool area due to the fact it's more enclosed and there are sprayers with lots of water all over. The lifeguards do a great job of keeping their eyes on the kiddos cause it can get very very packed in both pool areas and kids of all different ages including adults too! The bathrooms and lockers are great and all facilities are pretty new and kept clean. I do love the spinner to spin clothes after swim time... As a side note, if you're like me and just hung out with other parents while the kiddos swam...it can get very very hot and humid so dress accordingly even in the winter time!
