I was visiting the area and the suggestion was go to Can Can. I was like, what the heck is that? It is a mind trip, literally. It is located in an old warehouse and it is filled with so much noise, colors, and visual effects that I was just bewildered at first. It was like ADHD on fire, squirrel, but then look at that, wait squirrel! Let's start with the biggees- $17 entrance fee and you can do whatever you want! It is an exceptional value. Golf is in addition and obviously food and drinks are separate. I have been to venues/places that have free games and many of them, but not to the caliber of this place due to the era of some of the items. There were games from so long ago, I had no idea that they even existed at that time. It was fun to see everything and try out original type games! I was like a kid in a candy store for hours! There is an area where you can shoot balls with high pressure and even put someone in the glass case to hit! That was fun, stuck the hubby in there immediately, he deserved it! Easy with drinks as well, card that goes over the filling area and you choose your beer with the card and keep on moving! A full bar is also available. There is a stage as well, so many things to keep you busy. Mini golf was a wait so we did not do it on that day, but I do plan to go back! PROS: Old games, seriously old games, so much fun everything is paid for with your entrance fee (except golf/food/drinks) Easy to get a beer with a card and your wristband Full bar Stage 80s games, newer games, even carnival type games CONS: Parking can be a pain in the butt, but there is outside across the street parking as well as under the building parking. Just take your time, it is worth it. Would I go again, you bet your mama I would. Have a great time, enjoy everything and take time to see, squirrel, the many ways this place is fun for every age!

We came here for a corporate event and everyone loved it! It definitely different than the bowling or drinks that companies usually do. People had a blast. Tons of arcade games and pinball machines, a mini golf course designed by the most creative Minnesota artists there are, and some really fun and delicious food and drink! Hot tip: check it out before you host your event. It's a complicated parking area and it's hard to find the entrance to where you go. Make sure you ask the corporate planner people for maps and lots of detail. It was a little hard to pull that out of them. I think they're mostly used to planning birthday parties and other low-key events. But when you have a corporate group of people flying in from all over, the pressure is on and I had to do a lot of digging to get the info which was frustrating as a busy admin.

I don't know why it took me so long to visit for the first time. Especially after hearing such good things. It was much 'muchier' than I expected. The suprise and delight moment was realizing after paying admission - that I can push the start button on any game over and over. That's right. No quarters or tickets. Your hearts desire to play! It's like a game genie perk in real life. The free parking is another perk. And so are the old games from the 1940's. Decades of fun and the staff are friendly and humor filled. The food? nostalgic and delicious. They will give you a swipe card to use on the keg wall and other food areas. No cash needed. Drop the card off before you venture out. I ordered the meat pizza twice. The boozy rootbeer also nom nom. Live music started at 9pm. Stage is cool. We arrived around 6pm and the space is large, so even for a Saturday it didn't feel crowded or like we had to wait too long anywhere. I noticed water stations if you have a water bottle and don't want to belly up at the bar for a boozy milkshake. Tons of non-alcoholic options too. Fun date. my quirky heart is full. *be careful of glass on the floor - people can accidentally drop their drink glasses and walk away. I almost stepped on two because I was too excited about the games to pay attention. Bonus: a lot of the games have a drink holder. I didn't try mini golf yet. Next time gadget. Next time!

I absolutely love this place. The set-up is really convenient and makes the place easy to navigate. You pay at the counter for access to unlimited arcade games, of which there are plenty to choose from. There is a ton of beer, drink and food options. The servers were friendly and helpful when there. The mini golf is amazing and it's just a great way to spend a day.

A super fun place to spend a few hours with friends any day of the week. The place is full of old school arcade games- and I mean old school. My fifteen year old was a little disappointed but my sister and I had a blast playing pinball, skeetball and a bunch of games I had never heard of. Rather than charge per game, you pay one admission. On Tuesday's it is a bargain at $10, though mini golf is separate. This really is a fun place to spend an evening with friends. They have a variety of alcoholic beverages on the wall that you can pour for yourself, but obviously you'll have to pay for it. They have a bartender with a curated selection of cocktails, beer and wine. We ordered dinner and they had a number of vegetarian and vegan options. The food was pretty decent. But you're not coming here for the food you're coming here for the fun. It really is just a place to experience.

Whoever is rating CanCan Wonderland low has never experienced the tragedy of paying for every arcade game in an arcade. The unlimited arcade admission alone ($16!), starts CanCan at a four star. No time limit, no game limit, no premium game price BS. Just play whatever you want. And CanCan has the good games, like skeeball, basketball, and air hockey in addition to vintage games like pinball. Also, the quirky golf course is seriously genius. Albeit you have to pay extra, but when will you ever get the opportunity to swing a golf ball into a golden toilet? In fact, the entire golf course is a living work of art with mini ferris wheels, pool tables, a musical instrument set and other fun contraptions that make up the golf course. No wonder the place is called CanCan Wonderland, because that's what it is. If you're hungry, stop by the food counter where you can order at the electronic kiosk or with a person. My partner and I shared a tray of cheese curds and a milkshake, which tasted good by default because we had drinks earlier that night. Next to the food counter is a bar and a self serve water fountain. Price wise, the food and drink are on the high end but CanCan has to make their money somehow. While CanCan Wonderland is kind of off the beaten path, it is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a fun time. And try to come early to get the most out of your unlimited admission ticket and avoid the mini golf queue!

This place is a hoot! Located over in St. Paul in an industrial complex, you will walk downstairs to this incredible emporium of vintage games and a mini-golf course. What is truly striking about this place is the mini golf. Each hole was designed by a local artist, and their imagination went wild. Each hole had its own theme with so much thought put into the design. Really incredible. The arcade games go back to the 1940's through the eighties. Wan to to play Pac Man? Got it. Want to play Air Hockey? Got it. Want to play Gallaga? it's there....you get the idea. This includes the pinball machines where were so much fun playing, particularly the old ones that the score went up to 999. There is also a restaurant and full bar. Their beer selection is pretty well curated. One item of note the beer is self-serve where you will receive a card that is attached to your credit/debit card. Be careful, your bill will add up fast especially when you let your adult children access to the care. LOL I will certainly be coming back here again. It was such a fun day.

I attended a company event at this vintage game center. All of the games are included at admission and mini golf, pin ball machines and games are vintage. There's a full bar in the front near the entrance and beer on tap that's self service. The parties are held in the back near the karaoke stage. 4 long tables and seats, we were served pizza and sodas. The stage was decorated with stuffed animals on the wall and ceiling. We walked around to play games and played mini golf as a team.

Really fun place. Also very family friendly. It is a bit crowded and loud, but honestly not terrible. So many fun video games and beers on tap. We wanted to try mini golf, but unfortunately the line was super long.

BEST TIME EVER! We just went to Can Can for the first time ever. Not sure why it took us so long considering we've been to Blackstack before. We took advantage of the $10 admission deal on Presidents' Day which was spectacular. Our son just recently got into pinball'ing and this place seemed perfect. Lots of different areas to check out. We especially loved the old school game area cause it was a little quieter than the main alley way. All the games were fun but my favs were basketball, Mario bros (high scorer over here), helicopter driving, all pinball machines and the old school Ferris wheel. The entire staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We even borrowed headphones which helped with the noise level. They have great place to order snacks and food items. We ate popcorn and French fries. The team member was so kind to make us a fresh batch of popcorn too! Bathrooms were great and we utilized the lockers for our coats on this frigid day. Also did you know the reason it's called Can Can is because hr building used to manufacture cans? Also lots of fun photo ops not to mention the upgrade to mini golf which looks like a blast!

Visited CanCan last night. I've been here a few times throughout the years it's been open. One thing I didn't realize, they do have some available parking underground. Which is nice when it's cold out. We went shortly after they opened and I think I prefer being there early compared to when I've been there later in the evening. We were able to get drinks at the bar quicker. When sometimes at night it seems nearly impossible to get a drink. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their signature drinks. I Tried the milkshake, they were good. But not anything extraordinary. But my favorite part about this place is the arcade games. If you're looking for some arcades games you've never even heard of, this is def the place to go.

This is an amazing and unique spot. It's not a store front or easy to see from the road. In fact you have to go downstairs and through some hallways, but it's totally worth it. What is Can Can Wonderland? It's a wonderland of food and fun! The staff was friendly and helpful with all the choices. There's a mini golf course like no other. Each hole is uniquely designed and made by a local artist. There's also a Boardwalk Arcade. They've also got some pretty unique food that was totally yummy! There's Smokey and the Bandit Nachos and Chili Mac n Cheese Nachos. They've got fun pizzas and boozy shakes like the Gettin Figgy Wit it. This is one of the most unique places you'll ever find and there's so much to do. If you're in or near St Paul it's definitely worth a visit.

A wonderful place for a family/friend gathering spot. Free parking on site. Many, many gaming machines and an 18-hole mini golf course. So much fun. Venue was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Located in the lower portion of a brewery. No time limit on entry. Hours can be spent here.

I got the shrimp and corn bread and fried kale. I've never had fried kale but it was SO good! My boyfriend got a burger and said it wasn't life changing, but it was definitely a solid burger. The waitress informed us that the menu would be changing soon! Looking forward to seeing what other delicious options they can come up with! I will say, I tried the crab dip and it just tasted too fishy... and I love seafood! The food here overall surprised us though, we definitely thought it wasn't going to be that great for a mini golf place! We were wrong! As for golfing here, WHAT A BLAST! We did all 4 courses! That took us about 2 hours during a time where it was not busy. The great news about this place is you do not need to play the holes in order! Heck, the people in your party don't have to play in order either! So if someone is in the bathroom, just keep going! Everyone is assigned a ball and the ball keeps track of your score! This place is beautiful! It is well maintained! The service here was decent. No one seemed to be going out of their way and they all just looked bored...may be because it was a slow night? (Thursday). Overall we had an absolute BLAST and I would happily come back!!

Grid, laser room, portals, and Mega Grid were definitely our favorites. My 6 year old had a blast; it's great for kids and adults. The games are relatively easy to figure out except the first room on the right, we tried that one a couple times and were confused. Once we got to Grid with the lights on the floor it was great and did it about 6 times. HIGHLY recommend. An hour seems short outside, but we were exhausted after 30 minutes. It gets addicting trying to win but I think longer than that would have sweat all the way through our clothes! Thanks for a great time while in MN!

I just went back to Activate for the second time. This place truly feels like the future of gaming…read more I'm 30 years old and still left feeling like I got a full cardio workout in... but with a huge smile on my face the entire time. What I love most is how interactive everything is. Each room is private to your group (up to 5 players), so you're always playing with the people you came with, no awkward mixing with strangers. It makes it perfect for families, friends, or even a team outing with coworkers. The Mega Grid is hands-down my favorite and the main reason I keep coming back. It's fast-paced, challenging, and ridiculously fun.If you're looking for something different that gets you moving and laughing, this is the spot.
