The park has got a sandy area for volleyball, a large field with goals for soccer, and a court for basketball. Pretty large park. It also has those free breakfast and lunch programs during the week for children under 18. The only downside now is that the bathrooms are locked. My only complaint is they only have 2 changing area with a door and baby seat to change your baby. There was many times I would get out of the pool soaking wet with my baby and someone with an older child would run right in front of me to take that room because it's bigger. Meanwhile we would stand soaking wet freezing waiting for that parent to change their child into their swimsuit. Meanwhile I NEED that room because my child couldn't walk and I had to secure him to the chair in there while I changed out of my swimsuit and have a place to change his diaper. The lack of courtesy from other parents was absolutely appalling to me.

It's an organization which continues to be well managed. The board members, committees, and volunteers work at a level of excellence to ensure an "exceed expectations" result every year. The PBO brand will continue to prosper. It's a great example of the manner in which little leagues should be managed. The fields, concession stand, restrooms, and coaches, are the best I've seen. In 2009 (1st year), I had a minor incident with the concession stands manager (Tom G) at the time and a board member (Charles H) while performing my concession duties. After addressing my disappointment, I was immediately contacted by the league VP at the time (Jim L). Addressing my dissatisfaction promptly demonstrated the emphasis on customer satisfaction from PBO. PBO cares about their brand and reputation. Our family will miss PBO dearly and are grateful to have been a member of this outstanding organization.

To let him know we were going to be late. We were relieved and assured to know that our tardiness wasn't going to hinder the experience. Was very informative and made it appealing to absorb the detailed information not only related to the experience but also responsible second amendment responsibilities. J.P. Provided the training and offered additional training options for future endeavors. This is probably the ultimate gaming experience with real life adaptations. You are provided with an environment and an experience of threats that in real life we want to avoid. However unless you are a hermit or blind to the obvious, the risk is real every day that you are in a public arena. With this training you Know how to act and what to do when application of deadly force is required. When the train evolution is completed, you can target shoot and have some light hearted fun and or compete with friend and family popping balloons or wiping out zombies. This complex is one of two in Orland Park devoted to baseball/softball - Orland Park has the John…read moreHumphrey Complex (JHC) and Centennial Park. While Centennial has more sports to offer (outdoor swimming pool, 8 soccer fields, 9 baseball/softball fields, bike trails, etc.), JHC really specializes in baseball/softball. JHC has 5 regulation fields for baseball and softball (with a clubhouse centering 4 of them), and they also use 5 additional fields from the school district right next door ... so in total, JHC can use 10 fields of play, and all are professionally maintained with the fields dragged every day. If I remember correctly the infields are clay and the pitching mound are a flat circle (so its really set up for softball). The fields are generally used for 16 and Under games. There are often tournaments during the summer, but when the fields are empty anyone can get on and hit the ball around ... no appointment needed, just go and play. There really aren't concessions here, so you pretty much have to bring your own. Bathrooms are in the center clubhouse. Parking is on both sides of the complex so there are scores of spaces. They do have a walking trail or two through the complex if you aren't there for the ball games. The whole complex is part of the Orland Park Village Hall buildings. Give this place a try.
