You can probably find what you need, but they don't really have a big selection. You might have to try their other location on Broadway which is twice as big. read more

Expensive, slow turn around, and not high quality... Wanted to get custom appeal made to support my sons team. I did all the design work and presented to the Mike's staff, who then had to have it 'approved' by the designer. Price came back and I was shocked, but we do anything to support the kids. From submission to creation was over two weeks and once received it was absolutely not what was ordered. All four shirts were different - iron ons were cut differently some have places you could see where the cut didn't go all the way through, others had jagged cut edges, artwork was not centered to the fit of the shirt. Took them back and surprisingly the staff could t see any issues, regardless said they would have the designer look at them to be remade. After 5+ weeks I finally have my shirts, better than the first but not the quality I expected especially for the price paid. read more

Bass Pro Shops was founded by Johnny Morris who grew up in the wilderness of Missouri hunting and fishing. He developed a passion for bass fishing and he did it professionally for 5 years. Johnny started Bass Pro Shops by selling tackle in 8 square feet in the back of his father liquor store. From those humble beginnings he has grown his business to 177 stores which welcomes 200 million visitors annually earning him the honorary title of "the Walt Disney of the outdoors". Johnny Morris is also a dedicated conservationist. When you check out you can round up your purchase to donate to their conservation fund. They also have a really generous return policy of 60 days as long as you keep your receipt. I stopped in here on the way to Chicago to pick up a pair of sunglasses but they only had high end brands. Not exactly what I had in my mind although everywhere I went the staff was very helpful. One thing I didn't like was how people throughout the store hassled me to sign up for their credit card to get a free hat and to sign up to won cash and free vacations. My friend ended up picking up a jacket on the clearance rack since she forgot hers. The centerpiece of the store is a large waterfall with native fish swimming in a tank at it's base. It is my dream to buy one of their kayaks one day. The guns and hunting gear hold the least interest for me. If I am lucky enough to see a deer in the wild the only thing I want to shoot it with is my camera. Other items they sell include hiking gear, grills, toys, snacks, camping gear, and even boats and ATV's from their own line. They offer concealed carry classes as well as many special events during the year including a Spring Fishing Classic, Fall Hunting Classic and a Go Outdoors event. Other events include boat shows, Family Summer Camp, and Santa's Wonderland. You can find events and dates by checking their events page. It is always fun to walk around a Bass Pro Shops. They really strive to have something for everyone. One other thing of note is that this stores restaurant recently closed. There was a sign for the auction. They plan to expand their retail space. Such a shame because the Bimini bread is the best. I hope this is not a trend for all of their locations.

So I sign my sons(6 and 9) to a 4 day baseball camp. Which advertises…read more 1: safe and structure environment. By no means was it safe. Both kids complained of being hit by other kids(not in a playful way). Got called names with no disciplinary action was taken by counselors( which I thought were trainers). Also if structure means chaos then they nailed it. 2. All aspects training. My kids told me at no point did they train. Any baseball activities were basically just like ..here hit ball or here caught the ball. 3. Small groups. Only 11 kids so that wasn't too bad. But should've been easier to handle with less chaos. 4.High energy skills stations. Again very little baseball was taught. 5. Games and competitions. They played dodge ball which I guess improve throwing lol All and all it was a sht show. We canceled the 3 remaining days and were refunded. Also apparently the main problem child doing the hitting and name called was the owner/mangers kid. Which is probably why it happened with no consequence. I can't say anything about the equipment but I'm sure if this is how it's run. It'll have plenty of problems in the near future.

The farm stand is in a pair of buildings at this time and they have enough room to expand when more vegetables are harvested. We were not here earlier in the year when the greenhouse does business. There is also a U-Pick section, but we did not try that. We thought it funny when we came to the unshucked corn that there were a few signs warning us to not peel back the husk to look at the corn. We followed the rules and trusted in the product, and we were pleasantly surprised. When we cooked it up later, the corn was perfect and tasty. So even though we did not have the fun of peeling the husks, the corn was VG. We will be back.
