Cassie, who assisted me, called me a couple days before the party to confirm everything and she was also present with her daughter, Lani, the day of the event. Parking was free because we went on a weekday, i saw signage for paid parking so im not sure if it is always free. The waivers muat be completed before checkout. They wrist band you and then guide you to the next window where they will harness you. Following the harness you go through an intro training and then a practice course before being allowed on the main platform. The great thing about this is that they show you how to stay connected and safe. We started at yellow and made our way up to green level course. Next time we will attempt the blue and the black. The way it works is that once you are done with the training course they mark your badge with the final time that you will be able to go to the main platform and start a course. We were climbing for about 2 hours before we decided to call it! It's a great physical and mental stimulation. You can tell that they care about the course because everything was maintained. Additionally, the staff were soooo nice! Great team! There is also a gift shop with ice-cream and some small finger food if you need a bite while out there. I recommend bringing your own water because they cost 8 dollars! We will be back!!

Theree an activity shark hidden near the benches for kids who need other stimulus. Its a near little corner with sensory floor panels and a lot of finger activity. (Im not sure how often it's sanatized, but it was really popular) The shark nursery was probably my favorite. So many shark purses, little hatchlings and juvenile leopard sharks. What do they do with all the sharks that hatch. Be sure to get a spot on a bench quickly, as they do fill up. We sat on the back right and had a lovely view of Mermaid Hannah and the story of the Mer people. She was lovely and graceful in the water, the fish paid her no attention, but there was a grand standing rat that really loved showing his "face". So cute! The way the play area is laid out, you can can pretty much see your kids at all angles and that is helpful for me on this particular day, as I was trying to get some work done on my computer. Kids are not to wear shoes and socks are required. I love Sesame Street so this was a fun and colorful place for this kids to play. I love that too that they will shut this area down periodically throughout the day to do a thorough clean of the equipment. How awesome is that?! But after going on the tour of 90 minutes I was able to understand all that the sanctuary does for these animals. Most of these animals come from other people who have kept them as pets or who have not kept good care of them, so this is a safe place for them. I was so honored to get to see so many animals being cared for with respect, and get to meet the people who volunteer their time to give comfort to these animals. The best part is that all the proceeds go directly to the animals' care and welfare. It's not like other places where a percentage will go to the employees. At this sanctuary the proceeds go straight back to the animals. If you're an animal lover like me I would recommend going!

Place could definitely use a lot of upkeep. Several animal stalls were very over grown and I bet that affects the animals. That said I did get access to all the animals I wanted to see and they all looked healthy. You even get a baggy of food to feed them. The horse is such a demanding sweetheart.
