If I could rate O stars I would do it. I was a very good client, got the platinum membership, got private lessons, bought merchandise from the shop, etc but my son is just not interested in baseball. So I decided to cancel the membership . Unfortunately I selected the wrong option during the cancelation process and my account was just suspended. I called the office when I realized I had charges from the last 3 months . We had le not even set foot in there since August 2020. When I called and spoke with Doug, the manager, I explained the situation and ask if he could refund at least some of the money. Not only he did not do it but he was arrogant and not costumer centric. This is unacceptable. It really ended with a sour taste. They only Care about your money. read more

After Googling Batting cages in my area I would never find anything close by me in the Westchase area. One day I stumbled upon Dbat driving around Houston while working and I was amazed that no one ever mentioned anything about this place online.(They have over 10 locations in Texas) It's definitely one of the nicest fastpitch/slow pitch cages in the area because it's indoors and it has around 7 cages. The Hit trax system is really why I like going here it's a system that simulates your hitting on a large screen as if your in a major league park. The prices are also good 1.50 for 15 balls. They also sell equipment and have equipment if needed. Only thing I dislike if having to get your balls after your done compared to the go kart batting cages. All in all the best time to go is on weekdays during the day to keep you from embarrassing yourself in front of kids if your rusty. read more

I came here for my little cousin's birthday party. We celebrated with great team effort and excitement. It's an awesome place to burn some energy and get practice in. A big party for friends and family was celebrated here one weekend and we had a great time. We brought in our own food and drinks. Bats are provided and the indoor experience had us jumping up and down with excitement. The kids definitely had fun here as much as the adults haha. I kind of stepped too close to the square and a softball hit my hand, but it didn't break anything! These balls fly fast even at the lowest set speed. I had them set between 40-60 mph. All fun and games with my family here. I'll return for more practice instead of swinging the bat blindly. read more

The facility is excellent, and the staff is even more stellar. In addition to the coaches Bill, Gary, and Mike -- often dispensing free advice when they see a player hard at work in the cages -- the group of young front desk guys make it feel like a community. Andrew, Christian, Colton and Parker are polite, gregarious, hardworking and eager to assist with whatever you need. The whole experience here makes it the gem of all baseball facilities in Houston. We LOVE this facility. It is ran efficiently & promptly. MT is my kids instructor & she is phenomenal with her coaching/teaching techniques. I have seen a tremendous change in my kids attitude/techniques in the game AND at home. Doug makes sure it is a clean & nice facility, prices are reasonable. Went here for my wife's b-day so she could knock some balls . Staff was friendly and even comped us the equipment fee. We do prefer outdoor ranges, and the ones we're used to have a more convenient set up (as far a quick swipe the continue playing), so the indoor took some getting used to. Not thrilled about having to take turns on the cages if the place gets busy but that's probably the only issue we had - once you get into a groove, it's not easy to stop to let someone else go. However, each round is 13-15 pitches so it's not like we were waiting forever or anything. It is conveniently located from out apartment so we'd definitely come back! read more

Good place to go hit some balls. Baseball & softball, variable speeds. Most folks pretty good about rotating. Probably 3 or 4 machine pitch. Pick up your own balls. Couple lanes for live throwing. Sell some equipment as well. read more

Had a great time here!! The whole place was very nice, clean and had plenty of space. My girlfriend, her brother and I chose the last of the 5 batting cages and got set up and stayed a good 30-45 minutes. There were not a lot of people so we hit to our hearts content. It was great having so much control. You swipe your card and have the option of baseball or softball. You go on to chose from 5 speeds and then after a short delay the machine gets going. They also have plenty of different sized bats which are free to use. Overall I was very happy with my experience at D-Bat and we will be going back VERY soon. read more

Went with the kids to hit a few rounds in the cages. The pitches were so inconsistent for 40 softball and 40 baseball that after 10 rounds my kids only had a few swing in their zone. Would not recommend for smaller kids. read more

We come here for weekly lessons with Coach Mike Flower and we love it!! When he's not available, we've gone with Coach Mike Jaworski and Gary Majewski and all 3 are great! They have patience with my 6 year old son and make sure to explain things to him in a way he can understand. We've also done the camps and he loved it! No complaints about this place! Just left this place drenched! (But that's a good thing) I went here to practice hitting and to get some tips on my technique. Ruby was great with helping me achieve that. Nice clean indoor facility although, it was rather warm in the batting area. Their prices are fair and you definitely get your money's worth. I only needed 30 minutes and I was on the right track. After that I was even given FREE tokens to go to the batting cages. I will be coming back!!! read more

I usually come here with friends during lunch break. There isn't many people at the time. It's an indoor batting cage, so you don't have to worry about the scorching Houston heat. You do have to pick up after yourself. It's well kept here, and you pretty much do everything yourself, just make sure to say hello to the workers up front when you walk in. They're friendly and if there's anything you need, they're happy to help. There's a small store in the front as well, where you can get pretty much everything you need from baseball attire to bats. read more

My son has enjoyed the summer camps. The teachers maintain control in positive but productive ways. Getting that many kids to follow the rules could be a real challenge - especially BOYS! I was expecting the same level of expertise in handling 18 boys at my son's 9th birthday party. I (mom) had to step in and take over the dodgeball game in order to keep the boys from getting too frustrated - some kids just wouldn't sit down when they got tagged. I had to rotate between dodgeball and kickball to try and make the experience fun but peaceful. The back cages are NOT air conditioned well!!! There is NO water fountain. Ridiculous!!!! The party room just radiated with noise. We had plenty of seats but it was just soo loud. I hurried the pizza and cake so that we could get back downstairs. I realized I was going to have to pay extra to re-open the cages since I went over 1 hr. Fine. I have 18 boys, and 3 baseball coaches trying to keep the peace while I opened the cage. I had to have my son run and tell the lady upfront the code wasn't working. No one came to help. Finally - husband pulled up on the lock just right and it opened. How frustrating. I had some really energetic and curious kids that figured out that 2 of the side doors to the facility opened. Lovely! They escaped into the parking lot. Do you know what is behind DBAT - SCARY! Then I was told dodgeballs were only available for first hour of the birthday. Really! I had to entertain 18 nine year old boys for 30 minutes without a ball? When they tell you they give a party gift of water bottles etc. It's not for every kid. It's only for the 1 child having the birthday-very unclear communication. I asked how many kids I could have at this party. I was told not to go over 20. If I had to do it again. 10 kids would be the max I would entertain. It would have really helped to have employees serve food to the kids and maintain order. I would write the invite to say party is 6-7:30. 2 hours was way too long of a party - especially if DBAT isn't going to help facilitate a busy bunch of kids. read more

Love this place. They have many inside cages and reasonably priced. It's my go-to stop before any tournaments or games I have.

D Bat is the best batting cages I have ever been to. Staff was very nice and helpful. I like the AC and place was very clean.

I would love to say Mike Flower is an awesome coach who not only teaches my son but also inspires him, but then you all would rush out and book him and we'd never get in to see him anymore.... He really is a great instructor. read more
