Hunter Pence (HP) Baseball Academy is, undoubtedly, the best baseball organization our son has ever been a part of. Our son first started playing with HP at the young age of 11. Without question, it was during his time at HP that he learned the most about the game of baseball. The coaching staff was extremely knowledgeable, held the players to a high standard and conducted themselves in a professional manner. We were a part of the HP family for a couple of seasons; unfortunately, due to the driving distance and other family responsibilities, we reluctantly had to leave HP and find a team much closer to our home. In the years that followed, we did our best to find a baseball organization; however, none rivaled the expertise the coachs' possessed at HP. Fortunately, a few years later the 99 Toll directly connected to 290 and with family obligations that had changed, it gave our son the opportunity to return to HP. Our son walked back into the HP facility at the age of 17 and it was as if no time had passed at all. Coach Sean welcomed him back and the entire coaching staff has been nothing but a positive influence on our son (as they were many years ago). The organization is knowledgeable and dedicated to their players. The player standards and expectations are above bar. HP does a tremendous job communicating with players and their families. The organization works tirelessly to help promote, guide and assist players in every aspect of the game. The staff is approachable and open to listening to the players desires regarding collegiate play. Coach Sean and the HP staff have been instrumental in helping our son pursue his desire of playing collegiate baseball and have prepared him to do so. We feel extremely blessed to a part of this organization and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a top-notch competitive baseball organization. read more

All of the coaches are great but Lacee Helton is a monster. She is the last person you want to talk to. I would never trust this lady or never tell her your business because she will slander your name for years. I have been around hp for many years and I can say one thing she is EVIL. She is a HUGE LIAR! She will also try to take advantage of your children. She has scolded many kids that I know of and who knows of how many others. If she feels she is not in control she will simply try to convince the coaches to kick you off the team. I don't know what she has against the owners but it must be something they don't want getting out because she has done some awful things to them too I've seen it first hand. She should have been gone so long ago! Sean and Aaron are great. I know so many great athletes that have left so simply because of Lacee treating them so bad. Hunter Pence Baseball Academy has been a game changer for my 18 year old son. We have been at the Academy for around 5 years and they have made an incredible difference in his confidence and in his overall game. I am extremely proud of how Sean D and Hunter Pence Baseball has become one of...if not the best baseball academies in the country! They consistently produce some of the top teams in the NATION! The main focus of the academy is not to win at all cost, but to get your kid ( if he wants) to the next level of baseball, be it High School team, College (in most cases) or even the pro's. I have been playing at Hunter Pence Baseball academy since I was 10 years old and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. I attribute a huge portion of my baseball success to my time at Hunter Pence Academy and it is a main reason as to why I am able to have the privilege of continuing my baseball career at Northwestern University next year. I first came to Hunter Pence Baseball Academy when I was 12 years old. I was a not very good, below average athlete with with low confidence. The staff saw that I was low on confidence and made it their mission to aid me to allow me to have the courage to step between the lines against above average players. An impressive list of collegiate commitments and players drafted. Our son was not just a number, but part of the HP family.
