We have come here many times and have never had an issue with anything. The parking is probably the only negative about this location. They have tons of cages and offer private lessons or group lessons for hitting, pitching and catching. It is reasonably priced and they offer memberships as well and camps. read more

So, owners have made a few changes and fixed some hiccups and in addition I would like to say thank you for recovering my sons Wilson A1K glove that was accidentally left behind a few weeks back. They kept it secure and my son was able to get his glove back. They have tried hard on fixing al little hiccups even concocted a raking ball sweeper that cuts down on ball pick up time. My 7 year old son and I recently tried out the new location and were highly impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of the staff. We were fortunate to book a 30 minute hitting lesson with Daniel Rios and with a few minor tweaks we were able to get maximum power and consistency with my son's swing. Daniel's approach with developing players was refreshing and the results spoke for themselves the following weekend when my son was mashing the ball during his all star tournament. We had such a good experience that we are looking into enrolling in one of the upcoming catching clinics offered for skills building. Facility is always clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Coaches are knowledgeable and experienced and great with kids. The 4 swipe cages can definitely get congested during prime times, but staff is happy to help things move along smoothly if asked. This is a tough one, as without covid-19 issues maybe this bad service and experience could have been avoided. First, I was called and told for their summer camp to drop my child off at field 9 at the Katy little league fields for camp on his first day. I get there, no one to be seen. Call a bunch of times and finally get someone who tells me that we should have been called and we slipped through the cracks and to bring my child to dbat cage location as that is where the camp is going to be. Then, after day one, my son tells me that I need to buy him a batting helmet for camp and he can't bat without a helmet and dbat doesn't provide 'checkout' helmets for campers. On top of this he tells me that they spent a bit of time playing dodge ball and kick ball at baseball camp. So on day 2 camp morning when I drop him off, I find out that dbat checks out helmets, just that the coaches didn't care to help my son do this. I am not happy at this point and am pretty disappointed in the dbat Katy experience thus far. Then day 3 happens. I show up to the dbat location, which again was previously the field that was changed for every one else but my son on day one, and proceed to wait 30 minutes for someone to open...and crickets. So I call a ton of times, again, and I am told they canceled the whole camp for day 3 and again made a mistake and didn't tell me. At this point I am thinking I am being singled out and they are fucking with me on purpose. They returned my money for the 3rd day by COB and gave us, which seems like a cruel joke at this point, a free 30 minute lesson which we may be able to use if I buy a helmet maybe??? This place is a joke, and they have zero regard for the value of your time or consideration for what that costs parents - if I invoiced them for the cost of my time waiting around for their bullshit it would cost way more than the weekly camp. 1 Star. read more
