Super responsive, welcoming, and just genuinely great to work with. When we arrived, he met us outside, gave us a full tour, and let us experience the space firsthand. We got to play some of the batting games, try an entrée, and grab a couple of drinks--everything was a great preview of what they offer. The setup is really versatile. You can host a meeting in a private space and then transition right into the batting experience, which makes it perfect for team outings or offsites. Pricing was very reasonable, and they even offer 15% off on Corporate Thursdays, which is a nice perk. Also didn't realize they host concerts--definitely adds to the overall vibe. Fun place to hang out and show off your batting skills. It's well managed, clean, and has good customer service. Our company had a happy hour here. They had chilli dogs, burgers, salad, chips/dips, and desserts. Not gourmet, but enjoyable food for this type of setting. The batting station is pretty cool. Basically, a ball pops up and you hit it, and the screen animates where the ball goes. You can to play different games at different ball parks. Creates a bit of friendly competition. Decided to check out this place while we had family in town. We made a reservation online but had to call and change it because our lunch reservation ran over. They were really accommodating and pushed our time back. The establishment is pretty large with indoor and outdoor activities including photo booth, corn hole, baseball, simulation baseball, and merchandise to purchase. The simulation game was cool. I've tried the fried pickles, meh, some french fries that I was told would be outstanding, meh and was really looking forward to the Brisket queso. Didn't find a lot of brisket in it. We had an amazing Sunday at the dugout! The virtual reality games were fantastic and very easy to use for all ages. We chose to eat before entering the virtual area, but if we had known we could eat while playing, we probably would have taken that option. It's nice that you can order food and drinks while you play. When we arrived and went out to the bar area, it took a moment for someone to come and serve us. Additionally, the chairs at the bar were quite dusty, so we asked an employee if she could wipe down our two chairs. She mentioned that someone would come around to do it, even though she had a towel and cleaning spray in her hand. Fortunately, she decided to clean the chairs for us. The food was really good. I ordered the BLT, and my partner ordered the wings. The lemon pepper wings are a must-try, and the BLT is huge, so come hungry! I would definitely visit again. Made a reservation ahead of time for 8pm and our slot wasn't available until 820. Service was not great and no time estimate was given to us. The food was fine - we got the nachos but subbed fries for tortilla chips. It was good queso but the jalapeños were terrible and only like three shreds of pickles onions were given. The game felt really dumb to me. The ball used is really soft and therefore the simulation is sub par. I wouldn't go back. Maybe for tiny children. I had an amazing time with some friends that came into town at Home Run Dugout! To be honest, the only real negative of this place was the parking - if you get there after dinner time on a weekend you will be out of luck and have to find parking at any of their adjacent parking lots. The reason why? Because aside from all their batting activities, they have a bar, stage, and open floor for dancing to live music at night that gets pretty lively. I would assume during the day and on weeknights it isn't so packed, but just be aware you may have to walk a distance from where you parked. The batting itself was fun and I loved that it was indoors. Think top golf as far as the bay setup but instead of hitting a golf ball into the open green, you are hitting a baseball into a virtual screen. I will note our particular bay seemed to have the baseballs not pop up as high as others bays to hit, so we did struggle a little bit having to swing so low almost every time. However, that didn't take the fun away from some friendly competition. To top things off, the food and drinks were pretty good too. I had a birria quesadilla which was recommended by our waitress and it was satisfying. I will definitely come back with family next time and just make sure we come earlier in the day! read more

The problem I had was that I was unable to use my own bat even though the HRD website states to bring your bat in and have it approved for use. Ok so first off if you're renting a bay on the weekends after 7pm for 60mins it's 140$...no it doesn't come with a drink, complimentary appetizers Nothing! So that's that off the table. Service was excellent, our bartender Tristin was prompt, informative, professional and all around GREAT! We had never tried peanut butter whiskey only heard of it on a tv show..but it was delicious and Tristin was very informative on this drink and his experience..lol Fiid we ordered a 58$ platter that contained 12 wings, fries, pizza, cheese sticks , celery n carrots...everything was good and hot. Our bay contained aluminum bats of different sizes and the instructions were simple. Once your time runs out and you go close out they is when they charge your bay and food/drinks you ordered. Our total was 222$...a lil expensive but for a fun night , good food, great service and peanut butter whisky (4shots) I think was well worth it! Definitely returning! read more

Because this is a fun place to spend an afternoon. --- --- --- I've been wanting to check this place out for a while and I didn't think there was any better reason to finally do it, than to make it a Christmas present for my 10 year old nephew who's obsessed with baseball. We rented a bay for one hour and played all three games: just regular batting practice, home run derby, and something that I think was called Basebowl, which I'm still unclear on how it was different than home run derby. The technology is in the bays is good, not great. You should definitely not swing to hit the ball hard, as much as you should aim to just hit it straight up in the air. Even mishits are ruled home runs when you're on the easy setting, as long as you hit it up. Also, the balls sometime don't really come out of the tube right, but an employee showed us how to re-do a "pitch" about halfway through our session, so that was helpful. We also enjoyed playing wiffle ball on the field for a while. It would be the perfect place to play a legit wiffle ball game because it was a super nice turf field. We didn't order any food - only some waters and sodas, but it was convenient to have a guy walking around waiting on us. It's not cheap - about $100 an hour for a bay, but I did appreciate that they threw us some extra time. I said we only needed 5 more minutes and he gave us 15 to finish the last round of our game. Really disappointed with the tipping setup here. They hand you the payment machine and say "it's going to ask you a question," which is obviously the tip screen. The suggested tips start unusually high, and even worse, they calculate the tip based on the full hitting bay rental cost instead of just food or service. It feels manipulative and intentionally designed to pressure customers into over tipping. Just be upfront and fair with people and pay your employees fairly. read more

Meh. The game was really struggling for us at Lane 13. Mechanical issues several at bats, and at times the software would glitch where it would not show our hits. Restarted a few times. Staff did a great job helping with mechanical issues. Speakers and TV were not working in our area. Just expected more. Food was good. We came here as a company outing and we all had a blast. Our server, Mia, was phenomenal as she presented a high level of service that for a big crowd, any server may feel overwhelmed to handle. The food was delicious! Our food was buffet style due to the big group but the way it was served, made it easy for everyone to grab a plate and sit back down. Once it was all gone, they had another round within 15 minutes. I was a bit skeptical on how the entire experience would go because of the bad weather we experienced that morning, but everything was great once it was all over. I came here for a concert last night. I was not able to actually participate in the batting cages, but I plan to go back sometime! The place was really nice. The service was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised about how big it was to actually fit enough people to have a concert there. I am looking forward to my next visit! So we drove all the way to Katy from Pearland to check out the Chihuahua Races at Home Run Dugout. I really wanted to have our chihuahua Chica in the race but she hates car rides, she hates being outside, she hates other dogs, and she hates people not in her family. LOL, so we did not take her this time. When we got there, they let us walk right in to find seating. There were almost no shaded seating areas for us. We found a table and a waitress came to us right away to take our order. They had $3 hotdogs for this chihuahua race so my son was pretty happy about that. There was a man with a guitar and was signing which was nice. He sang some good 90s and early 2000s songs. Which of course my kids had never heard of. They hosed down the turf with water to prepare for the race. Which I thought was great, it's extremely hot out and no one wants their dog's paws to burn. The dogs raced two at a time until the final championship race. A dog named Penelope won, and her owner got a $100 gift card. The second place got a smaller monetary gift card. This was a lot of fun. We have no interest in playing baseball, but we would definitely be back for future chihuahua races. read more

Wow, this place is amazing! Me and some friends attended the Ted Nugent show at Home Run Dugout and everything went great! There is plenty of free parking, the front door staff was helpful and professional, the bartenders are amazing and on time and the restrooms were very clean! This is a great place to visit with friends and family! If you get the opportunity to see a concert here, every spot is close to the stage! They also cater for small and large groups! Finally went for the first time(on July 19th) and really enjoyed myself! Went with the boyfriend for noche latina since Texas Salsa Congress was doing free salsa classes there. We got there early to enjoy some drinks and the staff was really nice greeting as we walked in. We didn't plan on eating there so we just walked over to the bar. The place is much bigger than I expected, with lots of bays, outdoor and indoor bars, and a mini baseball field. Plus space for a live band to play which is what we also got enjoy after that dance class. The 4 drinks we got were very yummy and the bartender would check on us every now and then to see if we wanted anything else. Wasn't too busy when we got there at about 6:45, but we left at around 9:15 to grab food elsewhere and came back to it being packed. Plus no parking. So if you plan on going head out probably aim to be there before 9pm. Even if just going to the bar, because when we went back there was no seats whatsoever (there was people standing being those seated). This place holds lots of events! What a fun spot! It was a fairly large group of us. Most of us were first timers here. They did a poor job of explaining to us how to the game goes and how to set up. The atmosphere is great. Parking is plentiful. The bathroom is clean. The bartending service was great. Special shoutout to Shay for providing great service at the bar. The food was plentiful and enough to share. I truly love and enjoy this place sooooo much !! Very fun and cute for a date night with your significant other ! This is also fun to go with your friends and family but I would suggest you go with a few people for the bay because of the time even though you get 90 minutes it does go by quickly ! I think 2-3 people per bay is better because then you get all the time needed for you and your friends to bat ! On Tuesdays they do half off the bay which is nice ! IPAs are a must when you are batting lol ! Also they have a cute outside patio area where kids can run around and adults can sit and watch the big screens! Depending on the day you go you might have to do a reservation, I would do one just incase to be safe! Lastly, the apparel there is one of a kind and very nice! Love the baseball aesthetic! Not the best experience from the beginning and it just got worse from there. I went in to have post appointment dinner and play time with my 7 year old since he lives in Katy and I live in Houston. We arrived and the wait staff was lounging around. That wasn't a big deal, as the place is pretty relaxed to begin with. As my underaged, minor, 7 year old child and I got our food, I noticed that one of the wait staff helping a table, was sagging his sweat pants to a point where you could see his entire underpants all the way down to his hamstrings. And to top it off, the music that was playing when we started to eat had very explicit lyrics that are politically hateful toward people of color. It doesn't matter which political affiliation I may be, I don't want to patronize a business that allows such vile behavior from their wait staff and plays inappropriate music for our children to hear. read more

This place is a badly transformed of a fake baseball entertainment experience. What I mean by that is the technology didn't work half the time for the bases . The getting used to of a ball come up from this hole and hitting it was annoying. The staff here isnt very helpful. Or friendly. The food is way overpriced for a crappy experience. Had my son's 16th birthday party and they had lots of fun. Two hours was a good amount of time to play. The food was delicious, especially the wings. We caught the Monday half price wings special, so it was $9 for 8 wings. They were able to play on the mini baseball field before and after the party as well. Customer service was great.
